《I can summon my past lives》10- The First Miracle

Arthur Drake had been staying in the newly built temple.
It could be said that everything was going smoothly.
The populace didn't have a hard time believing the Drake family.
Seeing a man fly spoke for itself. As they explained more about what a False Core cultivation allowed them to do, disbelief and greed was felt among the populace.
Who wouldn't want to feel invincible?
Who wouldn't want to live for hundreds of years?
Everyone wanted what the Drake family had even if they had to sell their souls or their riches.
The enemies of the Drake family had cowered in their estates, not daring to step out. They were so terrified that they could only stay silent and await their deaths.
Obviously, the Drake family didn't care about such minor characters. In fact, they wanted to make peace with their enemies. Having a united spirit among the people of the Dune planet was a must.
On a bustling day, four black robed hooded figures magically appeared at the entrance of the temple.
Arthur felt the ripple in the air and stopped what he was doing. As a cultivator he had keen senses and he could feel a dreadful presence in the vicinity.
That dreadful presence was Damon Kaze who had yet to learn how to retract his aura. He could absorb the tribulation lightning inside himself but the lightning's aura couldn't be hidden any further.
Arthur Drake and Diamond Drake, the old previous head of the Merchant Union, who happened to be there at the time, looked each other in the eye and then raced to be the first to meet the esteemed beings.
"Welcome, sirs! How may we be of service?" Diamond Drake who now looked like a teenager spoke while giving the lowest bow.
Arthur looked at his brother with a shaking head, he thought 'They don't know you. Who are you to them?'

Damon could see the similarities between these two whom he assumed were brothers.
The red hair and blue eyes of the two brothers wasn't as eye catching as his new white hair and golden eyes he had acquired when he turned into an Empyrean...but they were both still uncommon nonetheless.
"We won't be here for long." Said Damon as Mad Pill threw a storage ring at Arthur Drake. Damon continued, "In three days, there will be a golden tower that will appear outside the Bluelight city. Inside that tower, riches and power await those who are brave enough to challenge its ten floors. You can become a god if you clear the tower, make sure to make it known to all three continents."
Mad Pill's old voice was then heard, "Inside that ring, there's a huge number of 'Minor rebirth' pills and 'Rebirth' pills. You already know what the 'Rebirth' does. The 'Minor rebirth' pill however only gives you a Foundation Establishment cultivation. It's still better than nothing. You'll also find some scrolls and jade slips about cultivation in there. More resources will be given to you in the tower, you'll have to gain them by yourselves. We're only giving you a push forward."
As Mad Pill said his piece, the four then disappeared.
Those who had been hearing in on the conversation and seeing how the two Drake brothers were respectful to those four magical individuals, they put two and two together.
Soon news that someone could turn into a God if he cleared the tower that was about to descend, put everyone into a frenzy.
Becoming a being at the same level as the esteemed beings was enviable indeed.
One Minor Rebirth pill after another was given out and it seemed that the requests for the pill were only increasing.

Atlan had been impressed by the one who had made the red tower.
According to him, it was an interesting concept.
The tower core was imbued with the Creation Domain. It was in charge of summoning the creatures needed for the challengers to kill.
The tower core only followed the given blueprint for every beast created. It was also the same for the rewards given.
As the Dao of creation was boundless, anything could be created given the correct blueprint.
It only took Atlan a second to know the ins and outs of the tower and know how he could improve it.
He started by giving it a spirit that would be in charge of controlling the tower, giving identification badges and also answer the challengers' questions, and giving the corresponding rewards. Like a mini system.
He got the idea when he thought of Damon's system.
He reckoned that he was capable of creating a system, but not one as complicated as Damon's.
When Atlan had finished his upgrade, the tower had turned golden, the same color as any object he had ever created.
On the third day following the four's visit, a golden tower soundlessly appeared outside Bluelight city.
It had been so silent that the citizens were a bit afraid.
The most fearless ones had already entered the tower before the Drake family heard of the news.

MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.
