《Sea Paradise》Catch no. 9: Exams part 8

The judges of the fisher exams. They are known as the fishers with the most experience, with each one of them coming from different countries. They say among the five judges, there is one who is called 'the Almighty'. No real info on him has ever been given and people know absolutely zero about him.
''They changed the plans, originally this phase was going to be fighting, but the judges wanted to talk to each one and tell them if they are still qualified or not'' the teacher said through the mic.
I could feel slowly sweat running down my face. The tension I got just by hearing what my teacher said was unreal. I slowly looked over at Hayato, he seemed quite happy, still with bruises on his face.
He looked at me and I quickly changed my expression to a pouting face and looked out through the window. Why will he not tell me what happened, is it that big of a secret, I thought to myself.
Time went by quickly, because in a moment we were already there. We were at a tall building. I continued to look up, but it would never end. The nature around the building was cold, dead, unlike the green and happy grass we just went past.
Slowly the teacher made one at a time go in. Some spent less time than others while some spent a good amount of time in there. I was scared but thrilled at the same time, getting to meet the people who judge my actions and the ones who give out the licenses.
Time went by quickly; I was sitting by the bus with Shoji. He had brought with him a Nintendo Gameboy with him. He was playing Pokémon red on it. I was watching him play, I could hear his voice talking, but I could not understand what he was saying. I could feel so much heat in my head, and i was so thirsty for water. It is like I'm feeling a big amount of pressure, but how? Then suddenly out of nowhere, the teacher came up to us.
''Masashi Shoji, right? It is your turn now, turn off that device'' the teacher said with a mix of irritation and tiredness.

Shoji quickly shut down the Gameboy, even when he was in the middle of a battle. He did not either save his progress. He tried to put it in his backpack while going to the door, but it fell. I quickly picked it up, but he was already inside.
I could feel that he was determined. I put the Gameboy in my pocket and waited for him. Those who were done were forced to wait inside of the bus. I could hear them talking, but it was not anything annoying or disturbing, It was only me and one other person still waiting for their turn.
After a couple of minutes Shoji got out, and the other person went in. With excitement Shoji came up to me.
''I PASSED'' he shouted and hugged me.
''o-oh wow congratulations!'' I replied.
I could hear him quietly crying.
''I have never been this happy'' he said while crying.
He looked up from my shoulder.
''THANK YOU, HAYATO!'' he screamed.
I could not help but shed a tear myself. I patted his back.
''Now, now Shoji, we have a long way to go'' I started.
''LET'S MAKE THE STORY OF OUR LIFE THE BEST THERE IS!'' I shouted.
Shoji stood up and rubbed his eyes.
''You bet we will'' he said with a smile.
He got on the buss, and slowly stood up and walked towards the door, waiting for my turn. The closer I went, the more I could feel the pressure. It's the same feeling I had before.
Then suddenly, the man from before went out. He was small, I looked down only to see, an old geezer?
''Come on kid, now's your chance'' he said.
I slowly walked into the darkness. Then suddenly, light began to slowly shine. It was pointed at me, and I could hardly see the judges. However, I could see the roof of the building, it Isn't as big as it is outside.
''HUH, b-but this is so much smaller than how it looked like outside'' I said.
''Furishishishi'' someone laughed.
''What a beginning from number 0, the outside is just cardboard, furishishishi'' the same person said.
I could barely see everyone's faces. Their faces blocked with shadow; I could only see their hair. The guy who just talked has dark green hair. The one next to him to the left for me has orange red hair, he looks to be big too.

The one in the middle had some kind of thing shining on his forehead, he also had a big beard, but no head. The ones to the left of him were both small. Both look like they are girls.
''Looking around, manners please, you are here to see if you failed'' a deep voice said, it came from the big guy.
''Now then shall we begin?'' the guy in the middle asked.
It's the same guy from before, when we first found out who could begin the exams or not.
''Your name is very familiar young boy, Hayato Toshiro, did you by any chance live with your grandfather?'' he asked with a calm voice.
''H-how did you know?'' I asked him.
''Hehe, you see I'm an old friend of his, although calling him a friend is a bit of a shame'' he said.
''S-shame?'' I said.
''No one would ever want to be with that pathetic scrap, he was useless!'' the man said with a strong voice.
I could not take it, the pressure I felt was too much, and he is insulting my grandfather, the only family I knew. I cannot, I cannot. I slowly became numb throughout my whole body, w-what is happening?
***
That boy, what is happening? He looks like he is dizzy.
''NO ONE INSULTS HIM!!'' the boy shouted out of nowhere.
B-BUT WHAT IS THIS. THIS TU-SEN! IT'S UNBELIEVABLE.
''HOW DARE YOU!'' he shouted.
Tu-Sen, something every human has but has a challenging time awakening it. The basics of showing off your Tu-Sen pressure and aura can only be shown in 2 ways. You must have a strong mentality, or you must have a broken one, going through stress, anger, sadness. No one can ever break through Almighty's Tu-Sen, except for this boy.
It is as if he suddenly snapped out of nowhere, I could see the beast growling inside of him, the anger he is feeling. My big body cannot handle this amount of pressure in this room!
''I cannot let this go on, I must use my only card left, Hayato-boy!'' Almighty said.
Shit! I must look away!
***
Suddenly I could see the man, his eyes were black, they were holes!? I could barely focus on everything going on, what is happening?! Suddenly a blinding light appeared for 2 seconds. I could feel my eyes going round and round, repeatedly. Then suddenly, everything was back.
''W-what did you do?'' I asked while panicking.
''Hayato-boy, looks like you're back to normal, however your life will no longer be normal again''.
''H-huh'' I said.
''You see what I did just now was my only method of attacking, called Non fugeret, It allows me to choose other people's fates. What I just now chose is your fate. If you don't enter the Sea Paradise and eat le poisson savoureux, you will die from the curse i summoned on you.'' he said.
''B-But'' he said but cut me off.
''I let you go easily this time, I can make people die much easier, from walking one more step to even moving one muscle to die, you should be happy with what happened to you, Hayato-boy'' he said.
''B-but am I continuing the exam?'' I asked.
''If that wasn't clear enough, yes, now do whatever you want, to live, to die, you have a choice'' he said.
I slowly walked away, and the light was comfortable. The sun was slowly setting, the orange sky was shining on my face, and I felt relief all over my body.
I got on the buss, I saw Shoji waving, indicating that I should sit next to him. I of course sat next to him.
''Man, it's so nice that you passed'' he said.
''Hehe, yeah'' I said.
I can't let him know what happened.
''Now then everyone, now that the first part is over, now begins the second part, you're allowed to start as of today'' the teacher said.
