''The second part of the exam will be much more different; you will all catch three distinct kinds of fish during the period of 2 weeks. You are allowed to catch fish from any country if you keep to the deadline. I am no longer your teacher, soon your new teacher will be here'' the teacher said.
Everyone suddenly stood up from their seat.
''Thank you, teacher, for teaching us and taking care of us'' Everyone shouted.
The teacher walked out of the bus; out through the window I could see him crying.
Then suddenly, 2 new people walked onto the buss. Someone with dark green hair and a smaller woman with light blue hair and glasses.
Everyone quickly sat down.
''Furishishishi, why the gloomy attitude?'' the one in the dark green hair said.
That laugh, I remember him, he's one of the judges!
''I hope Fukuda-San explained everything to you guys, since I'm too lazy to talk to you guys'' the woman said.
GAH, her attitude, I could hear everyone saying quietly.
It was quiet for a minute, no one moving a muscle.
''Furishishishi, you guys can start now, remember, go back to the application center in exactly 2 weeks!'' the green haired man said.
He always has a weird big smile on his face, with his tongue sticking out. He has a big scar going up to his cheek, unlike Shoji's scar, his is much bigger.
Everyone started talking, some were standing up, some went out and some sat down.
''Hey Hayato, since they did not say anything about fishing together, should we go fishing somewhere together?'' Shoji asked.
''Yeah sure! Can i just be home for at least tomorrow?'' I asked.
''Sure, can I get your phone number?'' Shoji asked.
''Of course,'' I said, and we exchanged our numbers.

Later after a couple of hours, I was home again. I opened my bag where I kept Chewchew, he was sleeping as usual. I had given him some food in the pocket he was in.
The day after
I woke up to a call from Shoji.
''Hello?'' I said while yawning.
''Hayato! morning, have you just woken up?'' he asked.
''Yeah, I'm still a bit tired'' I said while I rubbed my eyes.
''Well, I'll call you later, you can meet me up at my place, I'll send you my address'' he said.
After just ending the call, he had sent the address to me, he must have been excited. I went to the restroom, ate breakfast, played catch with Chewchew for a couple of minutes and then got myself ready to go away.
When I locked my house, I remembered I never said anything to Kubo and Taguchi, I should pay them a quick visit.
I made myself to their apartment and knocked on their door. The first thing I heard was chaos, just as expected from those brothers, Hehe.
Kubo opened the door, with a book in his hand and glasses on him. He stared at me for a few seconds, with a surprised look. His eyes began to water up and he hugged me.
''HAYATO!'' he said while sobbing.
''Now, now, don't be sad, be happy I'm here'' I said.
He stopped hugging me and smiled.
''I am so happy to see you man!'' he said.
''Me too! I have not seen you ever since I began my exams!'' I replied.
We were both standing and looking at each other, It was an awkward moment.
''So, where's Taguchi?'' I asked.
''Oh, he went out to buy groceries'' Kubo said.
''oh sad, I wanted to say hi to him before going back'' I said

''Back?'' Kubo asked.
''You see yesterday I finished the first out of 3 parts, today begins the second part'' I said.
''Oh really? Then do not waste your time, go, and finish the exams, do not worry about Taguchi, he will cheer you on!'' Kubo said.
''really? Thanks!'' I said and waved while going down.
I made myself to the train station and found a train going to Tsuchiura, the city where Shoji lives. I got onto the train, now I just wait, about 1h 30min. I looked at what time it was, it was 13:10 pm.
1h 30 min later
I was standing at the Tsuchiura station, it was such a nice scenery!. I started moving towards Shoji's house, and after around 30 minutes I arrived. His house was pretty like mine although his was an apartment, but he lived next to a forest and lake.
I met up with Shoji, talked with him a bit, and after that we started biking to a forest, a bit away from his home. We set up our fishing rods and then we waited.
It is fun to sit down with Shoji and fish with him, he is a nice friend.
After 30 minutes, we heard the bushes moving. I looked towards where the sound came from, but I did not see anything. The trees are big here, there are boulders too. Then out of nowhere, I heard a slash.
I slowly looked towards Shoji, only to see his face covered in blood. His scream was more painful than anything I have heard. I could feel the pain from his scream. The blood was so much, so much on his body, on the ground. I looked at my hands to see his blood on it.
W-What is happening? No, why? Why, why, why, WHY?!
Behind Shoji was a tall shadowy figure. I looked at it in anger. All of this happened in just a couple of seconds! Then out of nowhere another slash. The blood was everywhere. The dark red blood was everywhere, it was a pain to even look. His blood was on my face, I could feel it running down my face.
I stood up and I felt the same thing as yesterday. The pressure was unreal, my head was piping hot, and my body became numb.
Why, why?
''WHY?!'' I shouted with everything I had.
Then the figure slashed again.
''STOP IT!'' I Screamed.
''STOOOPP IT!!'' I screamed while crying.
Then out of nowhere a small figure kicked my face. I looked up where it was, and it was carrying Shoji. The blood on his face was pouring all over the ground. Then suddenly the figure jumped up to the sky and kicked the figure, but when it kicked, a blast could be seen.
Suddenly the eyeball of the tall figure landed Infront of me, and the small figure put down Shoji. Shoji had already got bandages on him.
The figure that saved us was the guy from yesterday, the...

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

Ruthless Reincarnator
Its a first try at a different approach of the "i've reincarnated in another world" genre. No "i wanna go back home", or "i wanna make friends" stuff. In fact, the most emotional moments will probably happen in the Intermission chapters. On the bright side, i have already completed the main story! And it is a short one, of course. Only 100~~something pages long (i'm writting the intermission chapters for now) and every chapter shall be mostly 1 or 2 pages long only. So everyone should have something to read for the next 2 months or something. Obs: I have also opened a Patrenon. I intend on posting 1 chapter every day and asking for donations in case people want more. Why ? ´cause i like money. Have a good reading everyone.
