《Exploit》Death Before Dishonor

Have you ever run away from a bunch of presumably crazed murderers? No? Well, I have, and I have to say, the second time around isn't any better than the first. It isn't made any better by having a companion strangely. Companions are generally a liability in most rpg's. Ever play a game where the companion keeps getting in the way, or they just downright do something stupid like get you killed? That's pretty much Sir Walter.
As I sneak through the underbrush I decide it's time to take stock of my situation. Fear of life? Check. Out of breath? Check. Still feeling like wrinkled dogshit left out in the sun for a bit too long? Check again. I think Status and the old familiar window pops up.

Hmm, not much has changed really. Good, everything checks out, time to move on. Though I should think about dropping some dead weight. I have quite a few hundred pounds of metal and muscle that I should drop off at the local firestation. He likes to go by the name of Sir Walter, but I affectionately call him prince charming, well, only to myself.
As I wrack my brain trying to figure out how to get rid of Sir Walter, we hear a bit of scuffle in the distance. My first instinct is to crouch down and play dead. Walter has other ideas. CHARGE, he screams. He immediately rushes headlong towards the sound without thinking of the danger. I'd like to say that I made a hasty retreat. I'd love to say I got the fuck out of there and never looked back. I'd also like to say that I was prom king and have a fourteen inch penis. Sadly, none of these things are true.

I followed Sir Walter at a break-neck pace. Blame it on his charisma, or the adrenaline, either way I wasn't myself. We soon found a few crossbowman, in position, looking in our direction, and looking quite ready for us. Have I mentioned how much I think companions are fucking stupid?

Binary Blood
So a sad day begins when you wake up to find out you’ve been kidnapped, stashed with a bunch of strangers in a strange place, and you’re riding on a steam train headed God knows where. An awesome day begins when you kill the crap out of a zombie, survive a train crash, outrun a hungry horde and wake up the next day with super powers. A freaky day begins when you die without dying and a tank of talking fluid tells you you’re being recruited as a representative of humanity to decide if they’ll fight in a galactic war or get left in the dust. I love my life.
8 148STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS (Rewrite Fanfiction)
A re-imagining of Disney/JJ Abrams first STAR WARS movie in novel form. Not meant to make money with. The purpose of this project is to "fix" some of the issues I had with the new Star Wars trilogy as a whole. Many of the problems start with "The Force Awakens". The Empire has fallen and the Jedi have returned. Years after the rebellion destroyed the Second Death Star, General Leia Organa of the restored republic continues to help lead the fight against the remnants of the Empire.
8 61An Enchanter's Tale
This is a story of enchantment and progression. There is only one faith; one that each individual follows in their heart. There is only one spirituality; one that each person views the world with. There is only one path; the path towards who we want to be. Follow Siyu Grey on his story of world exploration and his attempt to fulfill his purpose in a story that is much greater in scope than he can perceive alone. Also, just a note. I edit this as I go, so the version you see might not be what it settles as.

8 120The Swarm
The Swarm – a world spanning empire – feared by everything and everyone. Endless glory and food to all! No sickness, no poverty, no depression and no allies. Truly, the perfection of life! However, nothing lasts forever; not even the Swarm... The cowardly major races teamed up in an unprecedented alliance to fight the Swarm, but even that was not enough. What brought true doom to the Swarm came from the inside: a high-ranking General’s betrayal! An action that was more shocking than all the other races putting their differences aside and joining together. The Swarm’s strength came from their unity and this shook them to the core. The various Kings and Queens led their armies separately as a result, nullifying their greatest advantage – numbers! Only when the war was all but lost, did the Swarm finally reunite again for one last stand. Afterwards, only one Queen survived, and she would do anything to restore the Swarm to its former glory – even asking one of those 'Gods' for help. To reform the Swarm, a new leader must arise. No, not just any leader – the Emperor must return!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Other stories by me: World of Conquest: http://www.royalroadl.com/fiction/1513Slime Hero Saga: http://www.royalroadl.com/fiction/1415Hunter, Adam Hunter.
