《Blue Screen Blues》B2 Chapter 64: Over the River, and Through The Woods! Through Communist Palmlandia We Go!"

When Zephyr got back to the house to deliver the dreadful news to Breanna, she couldn’t think of a way to sugar coat the situation. Breanna was now laying facedown on the couch screaming and crying full of rage and sadness. She cried for 30 minutes then and then got up and went outside. She charged at Liz in anger and the other girls got in her way and held her back.
“Breanna stop!” Zephyr screams. “I know you want something to take your anger out on. But Liz is at a loss here. Lake is still queen of this land. You have to remember I am the princess of Wyozonia, and if my parents want to do something questionable like this, I have no control of it. I can speak my peace, but at the end of the day we all have to follow orders” Zephyrs says while manhandling her away from Liz.
“Zephyr! They burnt down my Inn! My business is gone! I have nothing else left now. All because of her! She should have stabbed Queen Lake in the heart like you stabbed her little loveable lesbian blood sucking parasite mom figure Vedra!” Breanna screamed while trying to break free of Zephyrs grip.
Liz who heard this freezes in her tracks. She starts crying. She felt shattered inside after hearing that. The memories of her and Bella start flashing through her head. Memories she tried hard to bury to move on.
Liz just walks away from the lake and toward a big tree and starts crying. Daytona who was nesting on a roost near the house sees her and flies toward her and lands in the tree above her looking down on her reading her emotions. Daytona lands on the ground next to her and stands by her as she cries her heart out.
“Breanna. That wasn’t cool. Don’t insult her with that subject. That was cruel and unwarranted. She did nothing wrong or hurtful to you. You need to go inside and chill the fuck out!” Zephyr orders her as she takes a quick peek at Liz in her “dead inside” state.
When Breanna gets shoved into the back door of the mansion, Zephyr shoves her down on the couch. Zephyr then notices Breanna wearing a lost neckless of hers.
“Where did you get that?” Zephyr asked her while taking it off her neck.
“One of you left it on the table after a meal last week. I kept it on me for safe keeping” Breanna admits.
“This is Ryan’s neckless. I was wondering where it was” Zephyr says while putting it on the table in front of them.
“Anyway Breanna. I know we are like sisters, but you can’t attack Lindsay like that. She has been through a lot. Unlike you and I who have parents who gave us a really good head start in the world because of their skill trade or royal status’s, she has not had it easy. Your dad loaned you money to buy a beat-up building and he helped you fix it up since he’s a craftsman and really respected here, and sure my parents are royals in our kingdom and I can have whatever I want, but Liz wasn’t so lucky. She lost her parents due to that inter-family royalty war. She lost everything and had to fend for herself in an orphanage and survive. Vedra was her lifeline after her vigilante “screw-up”. You can’t attack Liz like that. It was a really low cheap shot on your end to do that. You need to go apologize to her. I don’t want you to be homeless, but You need to remember this is her house. She can kick you out” Zephyr pleads to her while pointing outside and toward Liz.

They could see Liz still crying and the baby sized Daytona glowing bright neon pink color. Daytona then suddenly grows 3 feet bigger. It then leaps up and into the air and takes off.
“Hmm looks like our little phoenix grow a little. Damn it sucks we can’t ride it yet” Zephyr explains to Breanna.
“Was that the bird you and Ryan killed?” Breanna asks.
“Same exact one” Zephyr replies while shoving Breanna forward and toward the door.
“Apologize… Now” Zephyr commands her.
“Okay fine!” Breanna says while trying to recall the amount of money she made off that delicacy meat when Ryan and Zephyr donated their kill to the town. She gets up and walks toward Liz very slowly. Breanna slowly puts her arms around Liz and gives her a hug while she was sobbing on the tree.
“Sorry for attacking Vedra in anger to hurt you like that. I feel like a total bitch right now. Please forgive me” Breanna says softly to Liz.
Liz turns around quickly and punches her right in the face and knocks her to the ground. Liz then walks away without saying a word. As Liz walks inside the house Zephyr was leaning against a wall waiting.
“She deserved that” Zephyr laughs in amusement. “Let’s go for a long walk. Maybe do a dungeon run in Blue Cove?” Zephyr suggests while putting her arm around Liz and guiding her out the house.
Breanna who was now getting up off the ground decides to walk over to Kannell.
“I’m assuming I am dead to her, Aren’t I?” Breanna asked.
“No, you are still breathing so she probably still likes you. Just don’t be a mean bitch like that again to her” Kannell suggests.
“I was just overrun by anger and confusion. I just going to head down to Bunnell’s temple and pray. You want to join me?” Breanna asks.
“Sure, why not. I haven’t been to church in a while. Let’s go” Kannell says while closing the book in her hand.
She gets up and elegantly waves her hand and magically changes her clothes to something more appropriate. They both then head on down the road in the opposite direction of Zephyr and Liz.
Meanwhile over in Faterra Ryan was landboarding at 35 miles and hour on some small gusty winds in the clear northern Faterrian plains. He was wearing his Halo suit and singing “Original Prankster” from The Offspring to himself without his phone and blowing right on through a busy town. All the people who saw him blow past them had a lot of questions. A teenage girl who was excited, decided to draw what she saw down on her canvas.
When he passes the town, he stops singing this song he knows by heart. He has a flashback of the last time he heard this song and the memory of Liz and Zephyr “Punishing” him in the bath comes back to him. He remembers the shock to his junk and flinches on his board. He almost loses his balance but regains it and slowly starts turning and starts heading south west.
He passes a sign that shows a Faterra town and its distance. He doesn’t really care about the towns name and focuses on the “50 miles” part. He counts on his fingers and realizes he will take a break at that town in a hour and half. The wind shifts a little bit and Ryan passes a warning sign but doesn’t care to read it. He sails in a south western heading and keeps blowing past warning signs all over the place. He keeps heading south west and sees really low one-foot-high brick wall he was sailing adjacent to.

Feeling pumped up and curious Ryan slides his kite across the wind window and slows down. He then does it again and pulls the line tight and leaps up 8 feet into the air and leaps over this “Wall” and decides to sail on the other side of it. He then cranks up his speed and starts heading more Westerly.
Unaware he just crossed into Palmlandia, he keeps his speed up and sees another town in the horizon. He sets his eyes on this town and decides to blow right on through it.
When he nears the town, he sees watch towers all over the place. Not thinking he proceeds in even faster. He enters the town he sees poor villagers making weapons and doing everyday activities. When his kite catches everyone’s eyes and he sails by them, Ryan notices a big bright Palmlandia flag on flying on top of the biggest building in this town while he passes three town guards who were getting drunk on Vodka.
Really confused Ryan looks back and tries to read the names on the buildings he’s blowing past. When he passes the town square that had its name written Palmlandian, something in Ryan’s brain clicked. He’s in danger.
“Oh, fuck me” He says to himself.
When the towns magical alarm system comes on Ryan squats down on his board and hauls ass as fast as he could out of town Moving as fast as he could, several people come out and try to block his path, but he evades them by leaping over them. Pissed off he got away they start shooting at him with their crossbows. The bolts strike the back of his armor and doesn’t do anything. When Ryan leaves the town, he heads back south east on his heading. He can see the “Barrier” he jumped over a half mile away.
He looks behind him and can see a Palmlandian Military Bird taking off from town and headed toward him in hot pursuit. With the bird traveling way faster then him it closes the gap fast. Ryan soon starts getting bombarded by magical blasts from the Fire and Arcane mages onboard.
They start bombarding him with heavy “Missile” attacks, but his armor soaks up the damage with ease. He can feel the impacts on the other side of his armor but his determination to get to the other side of the wall kept him from making any mistakes. He charges right on over the border and turns far far away from it. The pilot of the bird decides to break away and stop pursuing him.
When Ryan realizes he almost screwed up very badly, he takes a look at his armor glowing a yellowish color. He takes one hand off of his control bar and looks at his plate legs; a place that took a bunch of hits. They felt mildly soft, almost like an aluminum can that was roasting in a fire. He pokes the armor, and it crumbles in a little bit. But for some weird reason it slowly starts repairing the warped part of itself back to its original shape and hardness. Amazed that the damaged charred armor was returning back to normal he notices the armor change back to a Blueish hue. Five minutes later the hue of the armor was completely gone.
“This armor is so freaking cool. So that’s what they mean by it self-repairs. That is freaking amazing” He says to himself while knocking on his legs with his knuckles. “Sucks as a mage I can’t hit anything with this shit on” He says while turning dead south.
Ryan from this point on decides to behave himself. He heads to the next Faterra town and takes a break. He takes off his Halo suit and stows it away in his void vault and grabs something to eat. He takes a look at one of the world maps on the inn he was eating at and realizes he just invaded the town of “Vedra” over on the other side of the Palmlandia border. He also notices an obstacle ahead of him. The Black Forest of Faterra was coming up in one hundred miles. This would be a zone he couldn’t fly his kite and sail through due to all the trees.
He looks at the map and notices if he heads to a Faterra town 75 miles south of here and jump the border again He would access to a shortcut that had flat rolling plains near the town of Migraine. He could sail for 30 miles through Palmlandia and exit through Wyozonia and start this quest. He knows this is a bad idea. But decides to think about it what he wants to do for the next 45 miles. He launches his kite and starts rolling again.
45 miles later he made his decision. He stops and puts on his tanky Halo armor and jumps the laughable border “Wall” Into Palmlandia
For the next 30 miles he would regret this decision. He was about put his kiteboarding skills and his tanky Halo armor to the test.
For twenty minutes he had been left alone in this Communist territory. Until of course he crossed by the recently Annexed town of Chimera. (A huge mistake)
He was being pursued by the Palmlandian Airforce and wishing he had the song “Kick Start My Heart” By Mötley Crüe blasting on his phone. Something he couldn’t do right now since Alex had it for her protection.
The scene for this 30-mile short cut to avoid “Walking” was like a Five-star police chase in Grand Theft Auto. It was chaotic as hell. He was being strafed at by the airborne units. Terrified by what he got himself into Ryan was firing back at the flying attackers with [Ball Lighting] in Lightning mode.
It was almost impossible for him to aim as the spell would not always burst out of his hands in a straight line. Normally the spell with normal mage armor would leave out the palms, but with this metal armor on it would either leave out the palm, below the wrist, top of the wrist, or weirdly enough out of his shoulder. This made aiming damn near impossible. The different places for the spell to launch out from changed the aiming “Arc” he was so used to using. To make matters worse, the winds were getting stronger. A cold front was charging through the area with winds of excess of 55 miles an hour. Since Ryan didn’t have a harness on and was having a hard time flying with one hand. This made aiming even more harder.
The only hope he had was get the [Ball Lighting] spell as close to the warbirds as he could and detonate it. It would make the big gyphon sized bird seize up and stop flapping and with them flying low to the ground it makes it fall out of the sky and crash.
But since Palmlandia treated Ryan’s presence as an Invasion, there were more than just one bird for him to try to shoot down. There was a total of 7 in this squadron that was charged with bringing down the “Chief” and they had really good aim.
The wind which was an enemy for him also would be an enemy for them as well. The birds who had a mind of their own during these turbulent conditions tended to defy input from the pilots in their best interests to maintain low and slow flight “Stability” would often times make them over fly Ryan when he changed his downwind heading quickly. With them not flying behind him this give him the best chance to “Guess” where the spell is going to exit out of and allow him to shoot them down with his spells detonation radius. When a bird would go down, everyone would turn away and regroup. During this regrouping process it allowed for his armor to repair itself. He would give them a mighty challenge with random heading changes and unpredictable huge leaps into the air. During one of those huge jumps, he would over fly one of the birds and blast them of the sky from overhead. Something that was just pure badass. The Pilot of that bird and their mage gunners were to say, the least unprepared for this.
In 32 minutes this 30-mile detour through Palmlandia would be over. And he would be crossing into Wyozonia with 5 bird kills. The other 2 pilots who were alive decided to end pursuit 1 mile before the Wyozonia border due to the ever-growing hostilities from their birds in this bad weather. They saluted Ryan for his courage and his skills.
Ryan after crossing into Wyozonia Ryan takes a glimpse at the sun set that was going down in the horizon behind the storm clouds. He power slides his board to a stop and brings his kite down and cheers. He actually had the most fun ever during that pursuit. He would take off his helmet and then notice his armor was emitting a red glowing hue.
After his adrenaline wore off, He felt injured on his chest and his ass. These areas had the brightest red glow around them. When he took off the armor, he had scorch marks. He learned that the armor at this point was extremely soft at this stage and forced him to soak up 15% of all incoming magic damage in those spots. Ryan who felt terrible right now guessed he probably had anywhere from 25% to 38% health left. He didn’t know his exact remaining health since his phone was supposed to be his health gauge. Unlike Alex he hasn’t learned how to self-gauge yet.
He opens up his Void Storage vault and retrieves his backpack. He pulls out a health potion and pops off the cork. He guzzles it down and enjoys the distinct fizzy cherry taste. He sits down on the ground and looks over head. He can see a Palmlandian attack pilot coming his way. He ignores it since he was on the other side of the border now. The bird zooms over the border and does a barrel roll over him.
Alarmed, Ryan begins removing his armor. The female pilot was saluting Ryan and so was her mage gunners. They fly a tight circle around him high in the air and then head back to their side of the border. Upon them leaving Ryan notices an item slowly gliding down toward him.
It was a bottle of high-end vodka that one of the mages were able to enchant with [Slow Fall]. When it landed next to him softly, he sees a letter attached to it.
On the letter it said: “Ты хороший. Вот подарок. Держись подальше!”
Unable read what the hell the note said without his translation app on his phone, he picks the bottle up and puts it in his Void Vault. He then strips the armor off and carefully places it inside. He then takes his board and climbs a very large hill with it. On top of the hill there was a sign that pointed to the nearest towns
Thermal, Wyozonia 10 Miles West
Flagpole, Wyozonia 60 Miles West
Lauderdale, Tourterra 1200 Miles South-East
Ryan takes out his map Simon gave him and reads it. One of his Farms was going to be in the town of “Thermal” He takes out his Kite from his Void Vault and removes the kite lines. The winds were variable right now and it was starting to rain. He didn’t feel like hauling ass at those speeds again. He also knew this open cell kite might fall out of the sky if he keeps it up in the air, so he decides to employ a different tactic. He pushes himself forward on his board down this steep grassy hill and grabs the bridals on the kite.
He starts “Bed sheeting” his kite into the wind and it comfortably pulls him at 15 miles an hour for about 15 minutes before the grass starts to get too saturated with water and turns to mud. After he hits mud, he throws his equipment back into his Void Vault and starts walking through the encroaching darkness of dusk. He gets too tired of the Rain and cold with 2 miles left to the town and decides to set up his tent and heat up a Potato he stole from a Palmlandia farm patch before the pursuit started near Chimera. He eats his baked potato and falls asleep feeling proud of his adventure today.

From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
