I was able to finally see after being blinded by the flash of the teleport. I now stood in the center of the largest city in all of Eclipse, Selene City, named after the moon Goddess. It was pretty cliche, but who am I to complain. I looked around taking in the old fashion style the game had with its stone roads, brick houses that made me feel like I was taken back in time. I ponder for a few moments on what I should do before walking down the road to check what was available.

"now in the forums, I read about quest given out from shops, maybe I should start with that," I thought to myself.

I reached the marketplace that was packed with NPC and other players trying to buy items or haggle the price down for weapons and potions. I thought where to start and decided to go with the blacksmith shop that happened to be the nearest thing to me. I walked in and instantly felt a rush of heat hit me, causing me to start sweating already lightly.

"Welcome to my shop, how may I help you" A short man, but with a body built that I can only assume to be of that of a dwarf.

"Hey, I came to see if your selections of weapons?" I responded

Most people would have asked for a quest straight away, but I knew better than to do that. Getting on his good side will probably unlock some hidden quest or something.

"Alright over here young man" The dwarf showed me an arrangement of swords, hammers, daggers, spears, etc.

My eyes almost fell out of my eyes when I saw the price "I just started my life as an adventure, can I see the cheapest item you have?"

"novice I see, yes just over here" He directed my gaze at a barrel full of swords.

I looked over the stockpile of weapons and didn't find anything good, just taking a glance it showed me these were only beginner weapons that came with your character, to begin with.

"These are no good," I said scratching the back of my head

the dwarf still watching me gave a nod of the had "well if you can bring in the ores, I can teach you the blacksmith profession."

"Really!" I exclaimed

"yes, yes. "

"My name is Zero" I said before leaving

"Kovon, Now get out of here before I change my mind," He said with a light smile with that, I heard a ding and a blue scream followed

I clicked accept and headed out of the shop with a grin on my face.

"I should log out quickly to grab something to eat since I log in right after getting home," I said to myself

I said logout and felt my body become light as a feather before opening my eyes to reveal the ceiling of my room. I slowly sat up and removed the helmet. I stretched and left my room to head downstairs to the kitchen. Walking into the kitchen my mom and dad where quietly talking and whatever my dad was saying caused my mom to giggle before she looked up to notice me softly.

"hey sweety," My mom said

"Hi mom, dad," I said and got a greeting from my dad "Is there anything to eat?"

"of course baby, it's over there" My mom pointed at a covered dish on the table

I said my thanks and went to the table to enjoy the meal. I uncover the dish and saw it was a simple meal of white rice with chicken curry. While it was simple, it was still delicious, so I dug in. Ten minutes later, I was ready to return to the world of Eclipse Online, so I hurriedly washed my dish and went back to my room. Walking in through my door, I saw my younger brother, Devin, with a cloth on his hand as he wiped the headgear.

"Devin, what are you doing?" I asked him

He jumped a little and turned around to look at me "Nothing big brother, I was just checking it out."

He handed the headgear back to me before leaving my room.

"weird," I thought to myself.

I placed the headgear on and laid down on the best. Just as I clicked the button to start the full dive. I felt a small spark strike the back of my head.
