Pentagon: "We will use images for communication."
Commanding Officer: "Oh... that explains it. also, I have another question, when will we meet this "monster" you speak of?"
Pentagon: "It is currently dormant, all you need to do is follow the plan."
Commanding Officer: "Yes sir!"
While the Research Team is approaching the ship, the natives are sending a couple more ships to investigate the floods, and to take back the survivors from the expedition

Halbarin XII: "Do not worry, you are forgiven. Now, I have heard about the recent crisis near our shores, we will evacuate all of the people and riches there, but we must investigate the source of this flood."
Lord of the Principality of Gahalbin: "I reckon it's those damn explorers, they have awoken the grand beast of the stars! We must all repent, for we have sinned!"
Lord of Gulbari: "Stop being crazy you old hag! it must be an earthquake!"
Hurban Lordan: "If it was an earthquake, then how and why did the waters not recede before the wave!"

Halbarin XII: "Calm down! We'll just send some vessels to explore."
Lord of Rubalhna: "You crazy prince! you'll only get us killed! you always made the wrong mistakes and my people were invaded by your grandfather! I shall declare independence from this empire! vivas la Stata del Rubalhna!"
Halbarin XII: "Guards! Capture this rebel! He is an enemy of the people!"
The guards capture the lord before he could escape, the prince later asks to "vote" for the exploration, 175/221 lords vote yes, the rest were prosecuted for being against the people.

The Researchers, Linguists, Media, and Diplomats have arrived and prepared a special room for them, the Natives seem to be a bit panicked by the weird halls, dining rooms, and more
Explorer Hargarin: "Who the hell are they! They have walls and floors of steel! They have giant birds of steel!"
Religious Missionary umbariz: "C-could they be... The Angels of the Stars?!"
Explorer Hargarin: "Impossible! they seem much less manly than most of our soldiers!"
Religious Missionary umbariz: "But they are taller, as tall as the Algans themselves, ears as round as us, skin much less hairy and don't seem to have beards! And they weirdly have women in here."
Explorer Hargarin: "And they wear clothes only for looks and not for protection!"
Religious Missionary umbariz: "To be fair, they do work in the navy. And their clothes even have gold on them!"
Explorer Hargarin: "What about the multi-colored people with weird hats?"
Religious Missionary umbariz: "that, I do not know."
they arrive in the room confused with the weird machinery and artificial lights
Religious Missionary umbariz: "W-what is this! my eyes, they hurt! This must be the power of the stars!"

Explorer Hargarin: "Stop it with this nonsense, they are probably using cheap magic."
The researcher shows an image showing the flag of the United States of America, he then points at the map, and then points at himself, it was hard but they got it, thankfully, they were advanced enough to know what maps were, he then showed images of different people and structures, then the linguist comes in and talks in a similar language
Linguist Thompson: "Hello, we are the Americans, citizens of the United States of America, we are here to learn of your people."
Explorer Hargarin: "Do not worry, I've got this, I think I can understand a bit"
Explorer Hargarin: "hello, we are Umari, we can understand just a bit of your language.
tell me, could you answer just one question? what religion do you follow?"

The only places I have posted the story and allow it to exist are on RoyalRoad, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense, and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything. Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls pay little attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth, the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story. Doyle Huxley just wanted a normal life but as the above might clue you in on that just isn’t in the cards. He gets to experience a “Path Based System Apocalypse” and some early paths he takes, both literally and figuratively, lead to him becoming a dungeon. The aim is to release chapters once a week on Friday. Cursing will be avoided and no naughty adult action will take place in the story.
