《Tales of Idiots.》1. Meet the Idiots

The Bronach Kingdom.
One of the worst places to live in. The kingdom is filled with corruption, slavery, gangs, gang wars taking place in board daylights, and the list just goes on. If you wanna leave and live in some other place like Solstice Empire, well good luck. While the royal family mostly gives jackshit about the common people, they sure as hell wants to them in instead of letting them out. With absurd fees for leaving and needing to buy a travel permit which cost a lot and require you to answer tests and more than 90% of the population doesn't know how to read or have a proper education! So good luck.

"We may be getting paid for this but we're only getting 10 bronze coins and 1 silver coin."
Lester grumbles as he looks around their surrounding. A forest filled with dead trees and shrubs.
They were in Dead Man's Forest which used to be full of life but was in this state due to an incident caused by a powerful necromancer.
"That's more than most jobs paid us."
Drake replied as he scanned for enemies
"Could have at least paid us more for transferring a package in Dead Man's Forest of all places," Lester said.
"We either do the job or we would have killed been by our employer," Lupin said unhappily.
Basil took a look at the said packages that he was carrying which was wrapped in black clothes and said, "What do you think is in the package."
"Probably drugs like the Black Powder." Lester sneered. "Which is probably why they want us to transfer the package since they don't want to be caught it. And nobody paid attention to a bunch of Bronze ranks."
Black Powder.
A drug that was easy to grow and produce and could just get people hooked on just one dose and is extremely profitable.

"Zip it, Drake. Besides the package isn't the Black Powder since it smells like gunpowder and is too heavy."
Lupin said.
*Riiiiiiips*
All heads turned to noise saw Basil ripping the package apart revealing that the package was a bomb.
"Guys! The package is a bomb!"
Basil cheerfully shouted.
"Goddammit, Basil! You gotten us all killed." Lupin grumbled as he facepalmed.
"But we were all thinking the same thing! I just did the deed." Basil protested his arms in the air.
"But don't you remember what our employer said why right?" Lupin said.
"You mean the belts guy?" Drake questioned.
Lupin signed, "Yes, the belts guys, but you do remember what the guy said right?"
Flashback:
"Deliver...The.....Package.....If.....It...Has... Been...Opened.....You...Will.....Die." Said a man in black cloak and was wearing a whole of belts.
Flashback End
"Can't we just leave to someplace like the Lunar Kingdom?" Said Drake.
Lestor grumbled. "Leave? Please Dead Man's Forest's not that far from the Bronach Kingdom and the guards have sniper rife and mages who can cast [ Eagle Eyes ] so the moment we leave the forest we're gotten be sitting ducks and all we have is leather armor, a hammer, a bow, daggers, crossbow, and a longsword. And even if we don't try and leave that belts guy is gonna fucking kill us all!"
"Ducks are delicious," Basil said drooling.
"Shut up fatass," Lester grumble.
"I'm not fat."
"Yes, you are."
Lupin look at the walls of the Bronach Kingdom that were nearby and said, "Hey Drake."
"What."
"What section are we nearby."
"Section D - 5, why?"
Lupin grinned his teeth showing, "Cuz I got an id—"
"I'm not fat!"
"Yes, you are!"
Lupin scowl as he turned and face Basil and Lestor and yelled, "Shut up, the two of you!"
As the two quiet down, Lupin mutters something under his breath and then said, "Cuz I got an idea on how to get away. And it involves an explosion."
