We were driving to a farewell party for Yui and a halloween party for the rest. The three of us were in Alex's car while the other two were already there.

"You know this may be an unpopular opinion slash saying," Alex blurted out "but Halloween is like Christmas for jerks"

"So do you hate it?"

"Kinda, I mean people wearing costumes thinking they can do whatever they want"

"But you are wearing a costume'"

"For the events later" Alex answered

"what are you wearing though?" Yui asked

"I'm a piece of sheet"

We looked at her confused

"See the other half is covered with a sheet-"

She explained her costume and we talked about different things until we got to the venue. There was music playing,flashing lights,people dancing,making out, getting drunk and high etc...

"You guys are finally here!" Ethan greeted happily

"Where's the bar?" Alex asked

"It's outside by the pool, enjoy"

"Are you gonna come Yui?" I asked

"You guys go ahead I'll talk with Ethan"

I sticked with Alex all throughout the party. We mingled around with people. While I looked around I saw something ,in the front of the dancing crowd, jumping around to the song. It was a person wearing a huge mascot bear costume. I think it was the one playing/choosing music. A few more songs and the bear person thing disappeared. We were at the front bar Alex drank a lot to the point where she actually wanted to dance.

"Are you serious?"

"Dead *burps* serious"

"No way will I do that! Where are the others even?"

"Who cares Yui is probably talking to her fans and the other two probably killed each other already"

"I'm not even close to tipsy"

In the end Alex managed to drag me. She was dancing like a normal person, well normal for someone who's drunk. While we were dancing someone SUDDENLY GRABBED ME!

"the fucking bear... ATE MY FRIEND!"

"Oh my god what the hell did you do?" Hinata spoke "we just gobbled our friend"

"Hahahahaha" the both of them laughed

"Being kidnapped isn't fun or funny you guys"

They were still laughing

"Seriously?! Are you guys high?"

"No of course not, I think" Hinata answered "it's cramped in here I'm going to leave"

"Waiii-" Kate said

"Bye"

(Kate's pov)

Oh come on

The two of us were in the costume. I tried to forget the dream and buried it somewhere deep in my mind.

"So"

"So?" I asked

"Hi"

"Hey"

"Let me ask you a question"

I waited for her to ask

"How the heck did the two of you fit in here?"

I laughed "well to be honest it was a hellish experience I mean why do you think she's high- *coughs* drunk?"

She laughed

We walked around inside the costume it went a lot better compared to when I was with Hinata.

"So the four of you arranged this party?"

"Yeah"

"I must say you guys did a great job"

"It was mostly the three of them, Hinata just barked orders for me to do."

Erica smiled

*beeps*

Someone texted me

Hinata: Kate we're leaving can you find Yui for me?

Me: Where's Alex?

Hinata: I lost her, let's just meet outside when you find her

Me: you sure you can handle it?

Hinata: Sean is helping me

I closed my phone

"So Erica are you up for an adventure?"

Yeah that sounds wrong

"Um sure"

"Come on let's ditch the costume"

We went out of the bear costume

"Daylight or nightlight" I exhaled

"Kate you look like a drug dealer. Black sweatpants and a black hoodie."

"There are more important things to pay attention to. We need to find Yui but let's get some drinks first"

After we got drinks we searched around the place till we got to the terrace.

"Hey- " Erica was going to say hi to Yui

"Shushhhh child"

"eavesdropping?"

She was with Ethan

"So you're really leaving tomorrow huh?"

"Yes"

"Yui you know" he was turning red "I like you a lot."

"As friends?"

"W-what? Yes...I mean no-"

"Ethan I'm kidding" Yui laughed

He looked relieved "I have known you for a long time now. With the inside jokes we have the food we shared and the time we spent together. I learned that you're the most kind person I know, you're generous, smart, and beautiful. You're always there for your friends and you helped me with a shit ton of problems. That's when I realized I really do like you, not only as a friend but something else. So what I'm trying to say is can I be your boyfriend?"

"Oh dang" Erica muttered "I thought Alex and him had a thing going on."

I tried to hold in my laugh "So you think Alex likes Ethan?"

"Yeah"

I wheezed "So you think Alex is straight?"

"Uh duh, wait...she isnt?!?!"

I caved in and cackled "Lol the only thing straight about her is her hair hahahahaha"

"What?!?!?!"

I put my hand over her mouth to cover it. For a minute I thought we were going to get caught.

"Ewww, why did you lick my hand?"

She rolled her eyes "child shush"

Yui talked

"Ethan...I'm sorry"

"Here it comes

Is it because of Sean? Because of what he did to you back then? I promise you I would never do that." He paused "Sorry I'm not mad or anything I'm just nervous" he lighty chuckled

"No it's alright but what you said it's not that. That was a long time ago and I forgave him already. And I know you're different."

"What is it then?"

"It's quite simple actually. You know I'm going very far from this place, literally at the other side of the country. I just can't afford a long distance relationship. It's too stressfull."

"Oh"

"Yep"

"So you think it wouldn't work?" He asked

"Don't get me wrong I trust you and like you too but... I don't think the both of us can handle it."

When the both of them ended talking they hugged each other and Yui kissed Ethan on the cheeks and said good bye. He stayed on the terrace and looked at the view.

"Ugh wow that was" I sighed "hey Yui"

oh shit "where did you come from?" I laughed nervously

"We were looking for you" Erica spoke

"In the bottom of your beers?"

"No of course not, let's just forget about it. We're supposed to meet outside with the others."

She nodded,unconvniced "let's go then"

"There you guys are" Hinata said

"I thought you were with Sean?" I asked

"He left when we found Alex, so are we still going to go trick or treating?"

"We should! this is my last night with you guys I want to have fun."

We cheered

There was this one house that gave us a lot of candy because of the costumes he thought we had.

The person said "nice costumes, you have an anxiety?, a cosplayer?, Woah commitment? now that's scary, rejection?, And finally student loans?"

Then Alex spoke "How the fuck did you get that from these?" she pointed at us

We were all laughing when Hinata pulled her and said to the guy "please don't mind my friend, anyways thank you"

"Before I forget, we're going to sleep at Alex's house and tomorrow if you want to come we're going straight to Yui's house. Ya'll better inform your parents."

After that Yui drove us to Alex's house. Alex prepared futons for us to sleep in. After laying down I immediately fell asleep.

I woke up and I could hear the faint sound of the song "Stigma" by BTS playing. What a wonderful song to wake up to. I went downstairs too see all of them. All of us were hangover. I recall giving Yui something to drink before we went to bed.

"Morning" they greeted me

I got tea and sat down. I could hear distinct random conversations

"Hangovers suck"

"But alcohol is great"

"You sure you don't want us to drive you to the airport?"

"I'll bawl my eyes out if you do that."

"Here" Alex handed me food

"You do know that I don't eat breakfast right?" I laughed

"Yeah I know but at least have some toast."

"Yes mom, where is she by the way?"

"They knew you guys were probably going to stay here so they went to my aunt's."

"Oh so that's why everything was prepared. Props to having the best mom."

Alex smiled

Bathroom...shower...need

I was wearing noice cancelling earphones.

On my way to the bathroom? What did I say about judging people?

Anyways

I opened the door of the bathroom, still wearing earphones. I opened the shower curtain and the next thing I knew soap was being thrown at me and Erica was shouting.

"Oh my fucking god Kate, you're...SUCH A PERVERT."

That was the moment she knew she fucked up anxiety said

"Here we are" Alex announced

We all got off the car we were right on time. Her mom already packed their things and put in the car. They were about to leave.

"Hey girls" her mom greeted "did you have fun last night? Did somebody get wasted because if-"

"Of course someone did, I think someone even confessed" her sister smirked

"Nothing happened!" Yui turned red

When they got in the car she started talking

"This is it" Yui spoke

Hinata said her long ass good bye to her

"Call me okay *sniffs* better yet call us." Hinata said

"Of course I will" Yui hugged her "take care of them okay? Without killing them"

Hinata nodded

"Alex I know you don't do a lot of crazy stuff, so don't let Kate influence you."

Alex smiled

"Erica I know we haven't been together that long yet I hope I still get to know much about you. And since you're part of the student council you have a lot of responsibility but I know you can do it."

"Thanks Yui" Erica responded

"Kate I got to know you the longest. You know a lot about me and I know a lot about you. And if you feel like your past problems are coming back to you, don't hesitate asking for help, please."

"O-of course thanks for everything" I stuttered

We all hugged her

"Damn I thought I wouldn't bawl my eyes out" she joked

They were all crying

"Bye guys"

"Bye Yui" We all said

She got inside and we watched them drove off.

"a lot down, three more to go" I sighed
