《The Legend Of The Insanely Overpowered Mage》Chapter 10: Shit escalating real quick (2)

As Tenur finished fantasising his future, his mind snapped back to reality. It was already two in the afternoon, and yet, Denka has yet to return.
Curious, he stood up and went for the door, aiming to go outside and search for him, but stopped when Laura beat him to the door first.
"Where do you think you're going?" Laura seemed intent on preventing Tenur from going outside.
"To get your dad," Tenur replied and tried to pass Laura, but she blocked him again.
"For what?" Laura narrowed her eyes a little. She seemed suspicious of Tenur.
"So I could get things done!" Tenur yelled a little too loud, changing his original tone.
Laura trembled a little as she said, "I knew it.. You were using my dad and trying to get rid of him..."
The words that came out sounded dangerous. In order to prevent what he thinks will happen, Tenur tried explaining.
"No, that's not-"
"Excuses! Liar! Bloody bastard!" Laura pointed at Tenur as she accused him of being what he wasn't at all.
"Hell, you're not even listening!" Tenur didn't try to explain again. No sane person would continue speaking to an emotionally unstable orc, let alone reason with it.
Laura grabbed the nearest thing she could find and act as a weapon, which ended up being the chair Tenur was previously sitting on. She tried hitting Tenur with it, but because Tenur dodged and was barely hit with it, he didn't take any real damage and instead, she missed her target.
"Fuck it," Tenur charged up a new spell he thought of while fantasising about his.. fantasies.
Calm and steady flowing ambient mana suddenly raged like the ocean during the storm, causing physical phenomenons to manifest themselves. A tiny tornado centered around Tenur's penis sucked everything towards it, even the tiny splinters of wood scattered on the floor.
"Ouch! Shit!" Tenur yelled out as splinters pierced his foreskin, eliciting unbearable pain that would make any man go limp.
"I'll get you, you traitor!" Laura yelled through the raging windstorm as she struggled towards the eye of the storm.
As seconds passed, the windstorm intensified since the environmental mana was disequilibriumed. Not long after, when Laura finally got close enough to grab Tenur by the neck did she feel the danger of being so close to an unstable element.

"Release!" With a shout from Tenur, the eye of the storm, which was supposed to be a calm region instead of being a wild concentration of energy, burst forth, sending out waves of mana that would kill any mage stupid enough to tap into it.
Not only mages were threatened by this spell, even normals faced severe risks as well. The one affected the most was Laura, who received it at point blank range. She laid on the floor, sprawled and fainted, with a now bulging tummy that showed she was pregnant. The womb unexpectedly ejected the pre-matured fetuses that slowly disintegrated into mana not long after.
"Crap! Every woman's going to get pregnant!" Tenur panicked as he thought about the consequences of his actions. He could feel thousands of tiny life growing in the wombs of stranger women who were just in range to receive the shockwave of mana that originated from his spell, though no extra life was actually detected from Laura's stomach, making him think that the 'stuff' that was ejected was actually just menstrual wastes.
Through his theoretical guesses (he's not even a theorist), the mana in his spell must've been polluted by his sperm magic, causing one of the effects of the spell to be "impregnating all impregnables". The condensation of mana was so strong that it disrupted the true material realm, thus explaining the shockwave.
There was a large crater in the floor, where the condensation occurred. Little cracks appeared over Denka's den, but they were not enough to collapse it. He felt apologetic for cracking Denka's house, so he decided to apologise and say that he's sorry when he sees Denka.
Since his penis's foreskin was pierced by splinters, he was forced to pull them out, one by one. The pain of getting them out was strangely pleasant, and since his penis was no longer as sensitive as before, he didn't feel too much pain from it.
There was a hole in his pants at his crotch area. He tried finding something to cover it, but ended up stripping Laura of her leathery pants or skirt of some kind and saying "sorry" to her unconscious self.
Now that he was prepared, he decided to go out and search for Denka, while using the time for his trip to think up of a name for his new spell, where he temporarily named it as "Pulse".

Outside, there was an unnerving silence lingering about. The town was supposed to be busy with activity at this time of the day, just like how any other day is, but the scene in front of Tenur did not, even in the slightest, make it into his expectations.
Where's everyone? His mind asked itself. Thinking he was still dreaming, he tried pinching himself.
The pain is real.. So, why?
He went towards a nearby building, where cracks were imminent on it. The walls of it looked fragile, as if it's about to collapse any time now. There was nothing else there other than the cracking buildings. He touched the cracks, as if tracing them would help him find some living being's trace.
Must be the shock wave then? He concluded.
He walked around more, only to see worse scenes. There were a few corpses here and there, but none of them resembled Denka's. Some had burning magic arrows in their back, hinting that someone of magic origins shot them down while the trolls were trying to run away.
A few more steps and he saw a stone building burning, with the fire not extinguishing even a little. It must be a mistake, since stone can't support combustion. To make sure he wasn't dreaming again, he rubbed his eyes, but there was little effect in his actions.
He walked along the road more, bewildered more than anything. Although he was human, he still felt sad for such slaughters. That was when he heard a live struggle not far from where he stood, the sound made clearly of troll origins.
Tenur ran over to where he thought he heard it, and saw a troll fighting with ten armed guards. The guards bore a crest on their chesplate, stating their allegiance. The troll in the centre was bloodied and had clear signs of battling multiple battalions of soldiers. There were burn marks on his shoulders which expressed the amount of pain the troll was going through right at that moment. And the troll wasn't any normal troll at all, he was Denka himself.
Denka growled as the soldiers tried closing in on him, then backed up a little to maintain his distance. He was holding a sword in one hand, while the other had a staff with a sharp edge. The sharp edge was bloodied, showing signs of cutting enemies up before.
When Denka scanned the soldiers again, he was surprised when he caught sight of Tenur, making him loosen his guard. Seeing such an obvious opening, the soldiers dove in to attack. Although Denka kept slicing and dicing, the soldiers were just too agile for him to slay.
Eventually, when Tenur tried to help Denka by firing a penis bolt at the soldiers, he saw Denka mouth "don't" and get stabbed to death. The penis bolt he was charging up lost itself from its owner's possession and flew towards the soldiers, killing them almost instantly.
Tenur ran to Denka and tried to stop his wound from bleeding so much, but all of his efforts were futile. Denka, understanding it was his end, pulled Tenur's hand away from his wound and tried calming him down by speaking to him.
"Tenur.." Denka said in a dying voice.
"If I.." Tenur sobbed before being able to finish what he wanted to say.
"Tenur, listen to me... Your grimoire.. I shall forever live in it.." Denka reached for the grimoire Tenur forgot.
"N-no... D-don't-t!" Tenur reached over and took the grimoire. It was stained with Denka's blood.
"You.. will.. achieve.. great things.." Denka said before using up his last breath.
"No..." Tenur felt a lot of grief. If he was able to leave the house sooner, he thought he could save Denka. Because of him, Denka got distracted and was killed. Because of him, now Laura was just an orphan.
Tenur stood up while holding his fists tightly. In fact, he held his own fist so hard that white started appearing. Not knowing what else to do, he held the grimoire by his chest and walked back to Denka's home.
