“Minny, how did you sneak out here?” Sunny curiously asked, eying her girlfriend sitting beside her. Under the luscious white peach blossom tree, shade casting over them.
“Well, it was simple.” Furrowing her eyebrow in deep thought. Misty tears clouding her white eyes, glancing at the icy pond. Swiftly wiping her eyes, as if something irritated her eyes. Gently patting minny's back with her left hand.
“Minny, what’s wrong? My ears are always open, for you.” rubbing circles on her back comfortingly. Brown eyes gazing, catching her wry smile, tears leaking unconsciously out of her eyes. Her left hand reach over gently wiping the tear off her blushed face,
“M-my late mother passed away when I was little. She was the first wife’s maid, turned lady-in-waiting.” Her teary eyes gazing at the golden fireflies in the night sky. Softly muttering to her, in a distant voice.
“Don’t have to say more, it's hurting you.” Placing her hand on her shoulder. Minny sprung up defiantly, shaking her head. Tenaciously glaring at her. She sighs at her actions. Softly shoving her handoff.
“No, I must! I want this weight off my chest.” Rejecting her offer. Laying her head upon a soft lap, long brown curls. Pouting her lips, glancing up at her and head facing her.
She nodded, listening to the sweet voice ringing out. Minny snuggled into her. “My late mother suffered each time my father visited. To protect me, she silently endured, till she couldn’t anymore. Leaving me alone, black swan of my entire family.”
Rubbing her hand through her curls, mumming, she whispered, "After mother’s death, my stepmother would scold me or avoid my existence in that place. That’s why it’s easy to leave as they don’t care. Only that I don't ruin their reputation."
“So, that’s why they let you attend the ball that night, saving face and such. How prosperous!” Sunny's lips scowled, furrowing her brows. “How could the royal advisor be like this!” Frustrated at the maltreatment of her lady
“Bunny, don’t be mad at such a minor matter. I'm fine, aren’t I?” Curling her lip up, eyes beaming at her. Gently smiling back to her, patting her curls.

“Okay, minny, I calm my temper. But tell me if they mistreat you.” She nodded her head, lying back onto her legs.
“Bunny, enough on me. How did you get here?” Her white eyes curiously gazed up to her’s.
Pouting her lips out impatiently. Tugging at her skirt, softly.
“Well, I consume a fever-inducing leaf from the medical clan. Fooling my parents, escaping through my window.” mischievously curving her lips, glancing at minny. Who flicks her forehead with her finger?
“Ouch, minny. What's that for.?” Squinting her eyes, rubbing her forehead. Minny sprung out of her lap, staring at her. Frowning.
“Bunny, I never knew I had such a clever girlfriend. What if you trick me in the future?”
“Minny, I'd never fool you. So, may you stop torturing me.” pleading to her minny.
“Alright, I was just messing with ya.” mischievously poked her side, gazing playfully at her.
“Y-your clever one, minny. Constantly tricking me!” pouting, biting her lower lip, folding her arms. Ignoring minny, gazing at the beautiful night sky. Fireflies roaming around, being light wherever they went.
“Okay, don’t be mad. I got a surprise for you. My angry bunny.” Sliding out the gift she bought earlier, tugging on her skirt. Gazing apologetically at her.
“Minny, I'll forgive this once.” Ears wiggling in excitement at the thought of receiving a gift from her minny.
She taps her shoulder. “Your hand my bunny.” Giving her hand, minny slides on a beautiful golden bracelet, with a blossom engraved on it. Touched by her lady’s surprise.
“Minny, close your eyes. I have something to give you.” As she ordered, Minny closed her eyelids, and she took out the blue blossom hairpin, “my lady, you can open your eyes now.” Her eyelids flicker open, the beautiful hairpin in her palm.
“B-bunny, I’ve never received such a beautiful and priceless gift, in my life,” softly sobbing out, bringing her into a tight hug holding her. Whispering softly in her ears. Kissing her side cheek, shyly gazing into her brown eyes.
“You deserved it, my lady,” blushing on her olive skin. Hugging minny wanting to stay like this forever. “Bunny, it seems to get late. Shall we leave?” Minny suggested eying her.

“Minny, ya we should- the sky darkens a bit.” Reluctantly getting off the swing, holding her hand. Clenching her jaw, eying her, minny. That she has to let go, but she didn’t want to.
“Bunny, I'm not going anywhere. We’ll see each other soon.” She unclenched her jaw, nodding. Minny brushed her long golden locks out of her face. Leaning wrapping her arms around her neck, on her tippy toes. Gently pressing their lips together in a time-stopping kiss. Needing air sunny and her break the kiss.
Left with pouty red lips, reminding them of their affair. “It’s time for us to go, my bunny.” Slowly unclasping their hands from each other. Longingly gazing at one another, Minny.
“Okay, my lady. I’ll message you later.” Mumbling gloomily, pouting at her. Standing together at the entrance of the frost pond, eyes connecting as they slowly striding in another direction.
Fixing up their clothes and disguise, waving their hands at one another. Dashing back to where they came from affectionately rubbing their gifts received.
Meanwhile, at Lord Kel’s Palace
A golden carriage stops at the entrance of the lusciously, mahogany-colored palace. Surrounded by a tall peach blossom white tree, two guards standing in front of the pearl-white door and holding swords on their side.
The golden doors opened. A boy servant held his hand out for the lady to grab it. Her head held up high, striding to the door, and the boy opened it for her. She nodded her thanks to the servant boy, and her mouth curved in shyly.
Two servant girls walk behind her as she enters the palace. Passing through to be stopped by the prince’s head servant. He glanced at the noble lady. “My lady, is there something you're here for.” Annoyance lacing her blue eyes, biting her inner lip.
“I have an appointment with Lord Kel. You tell him of my presence.” The male servant nods, excusing himself. She gracefully takes a seat in the waiting room.
In Lord Kel’s Study Room
Hearing the knock to his door, sitting at his desk reading a report and glance over, “You may enter!” Settling into his chair, his hands on the table. The head servant entered the room, hands behind his back, shutting the door.
“Speak your business, Kai!” Furrowing his brows at the man in front of him.
“Lady Tierra’s come to see you. For your time, my lord.” He explains. Kel nods his head, waving his hand to him. “You may tell her to come to my study, Now you may excuse yourself.” Kai bows, striding out the door, closing the door as he leaves.
“Hopefully it's important or else, her father will face my wrath.” Rubbing his chin, squinting at the door, elbow on the desk.
Inside The Waiting Room
The head servant, Kai, enters the room striding to her and bowing to her. Slowly rising, “My lady, the Lord waits for your presence in his study.” Directing her to the study with his hands. Striding behind the man, her head held high and gracefully.
“This way my lady.”
In Kel’s Study Room
His study door opened, Lady Tierra, entering and shutting the door behind her. Lips curving, bowing her head down. “You may rise, Lady Tierra”
“Yes, my lord.” He beckoned her over to him, waving his hands. She stood in front of his desk, head high eying.
“Take a seat, here!” Pointing to the chair in front of him, she settles down and respectfully glances over at him.
“State your business, my lady.” Placing his hand back onto his desk, straightening his poster.
“I have news of Lady Sunny and Lady Mina’s affair last night.”
“Tell.” he eagerly eyed her.
“They’ve gone out to the frost pond, engaging in indecent behavior. One lady shouldn’t do that.” Shaking her head.
“I must take action soon, then! Thank you for your work!” Pleased at her words.
“You may leave now.!” She nodded, bowing to him. Biting her bottom lip, irritated. Turning on her heels, exiting his study.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

The Shattered Circle
Aleyr Frostborn has survived a hundred prophecies of her defeat, breaking each one by slaying the champions of light sent to kill her. Amongst the forces of good, her very name is a curse, and with good reason. Beyond her own evil, it is said that so long as she lives, the reign of the Godslayer himself will last: the lich king who the terrified masses call the King in Black. While the kingdoms and empires that surround the blighted lands of the undead lands struggle to survive and beat back the tide of evil, the machinations of the Eternal Kingdom's dark court barely contain the bitter struggles for power between the forces that have made it what it is. With one foretold hero brutally snuffed out, another will inevitably arise. For Aleyr, the cycle only further embitters her towards the gods of good and all those who serve them. But the truth is that her downfall might be something much closer to home than their prophecies, those last dregs of mortality beating inside her own chest. With a thoughtless intersection between cruelty and mercy, she begins a chain of events that threatens to tear the Eternal Kingdom and her own loyalties into shreds. After all, many things can be broken, not just prophecies.
