《Democracy in Cultivation World》2 - Just as he took a breather

He doesn't have time to hesitate, at least this idea was feasible, that's all he needed. If it worked well it could save this damn life that he didn't get hold of yet.
He takes relief in the fact that it seems the air didn't escape his lungs, it signifies for him that he wasn't deep under the surface. He squeezed his hand along his body contracting his belly as it passed through it, emptied his lungs. By that time only CO2 remained, keeping it does more harm than the lack of oxygen, he used this chance to get rid of it.
His hand passed through his chest and stopped at his face. He took dirt above his hand and feed it to his mouth, his hand took its place, he swallowed it slowly, the least he needed is choking over it. He refilled his mouth as soon it emptied, no matter what any amount could make a difference.
Mmm, delicious! hell no!
Even though it was a little bit muddy it doesn't seem like it was saturated, his throat dries like crazy. Like a domino effect though, dirt fall and his hand took its place. Fortunately, it wasn't so deep as he expected. Retracting his lungs to the max, finally, his hand pierced through. His weak straight hand clenched hard, vines bulged, his whole arm vibrated, he couldn't scream yet though.
He started to dig, bit by bit the hole got wider. Finally, he removed the last bits of dirt in front of his mouth, his hand fell dead as he took his first breath in this new world. Cells all over his body invigorated, especially his brain, like cool water passed through his veins cleansing every part and nook of it.
Oh my god, if drugs feel like this, I can finally understand why people do it he spat some of the dirt in his mouth, rubbing his lips, a smile never leaving his face.
That's a DIY master for you, he took pride in his shallow knowledge, and how it was as vast as the ocean, laughing like a madman.
Well I think it's not far from womb transmigration, he tried to nod but his head was stuck, but he cares less, I'm the son of the earth, I made it through a troubled delivery, he broke into another fit of laughter, looking weird creature with his dirtied teeth, and his hand wriggling around. All is missing is a granny to spank my back cheeks! haha.
Majid was in a good mood after he survived the birth ordeal, he kept spouting nonsense and laughing his a** off. He finally made it to his dream world, is there anything better, NO!
He frowned for a little bit before he smirked, that overseer truly hold grudges heh! he could have messaged me or something, really! he rolls it in his mind a little bit, "it's better that he didn't hehe".
Nothing lasts though, his intoxication of oxygen faded, his glittering eyes shone even more in the darkness. He couldn't wait until he made it out of the hole, he didn't even widen the hole enough for his eyes to see the light of the day or stars of the night. His heart boomed, eager to check whether the package has been fully delivered, his mouth trembling, he said.
'system open'
A transparent blue interface manifested. It must have been like the first time the users of MS-DOS saw windows appear, bringing color in the lonely darkness that filled his view. He lets a deep breath out.
Trapped in the unknown, his hand sprouted up like a defenseless plant, ready for anyone to pluck. An uneasiness overtook his heart, bringing it back into action, his hand moved fast, removing the dirt blindfolding his eyes. Seeing the azure sky didn't lessen his paranoia though, his buried ears could somehow catch sounds of something moving around. His hand moved frenziedly, dirt splashing lift and right, like a free crazy water hose. He pushed himself out of his grave once he freed his other hand. He crawled back, his neck took his head on roller coaster around before he soon slowed down. Thick greenery welcomed him to this new world, and sun rays infiltrate through worming his cold skin. His heart calmed a little bit, he could see nothing to worry about.

Uff! what a f*** disturbing feeling.
Looking at his hand, they were smaller than he used to, though he was covered in dirt, it wasn't enough to hide his brown skin. Maybe because it was withered, it wasn't that different from his own. He was wearing a white robe and pants with dirty spots in varied intensities all over. His strong features, with his sparkling amber eyes, was ruined by his disheveled black hair, a scowl, and dirt all over his face sillier than the aftermath of a baby playing with chocolate.
He was surrounded by bushes and other small plants in a small clearing. leaves scattering around, trees of varied sizes filled the view around, most of them raised longer than 10 meters. He crouched behind the bushes, his eyes and ears carefully surveying the surroundings. He wasn't able to see nor sense anything, only then was he able to relax a bit, he sat back in the clearing.
Satisfying his sense of security to an acceptable level for the moment. Another urgent need alarmed, his throat was dry, and his stomach was constipated from all the dirt, craving for water, and some food. He brushed that aside for the moment looking at his grave, he was just kind of killed. He couldn't help but think of his enemies, he never really have real enemies let alone mortal enemies, shivers run down his spine.
'The heck! can't you let it to me make my enemies? if I want them, that is!'
'anyway, what should I do about this'
He wondered what would happen if his enemies returned and found the hole open, maybe if he closed it... No!
He decided to let it open, it's better if they thought that some beast dug the hole, and ate his body clean. After all, if they came back they wouldn't just look at his grave, burn some incenses and pray for his well being in his next life. They would certainly check his body, if they found out the body was missing, that would make it extremely suspicious. In the worst-case scenario, they would think that he somehow survived, I can't allow that. He needed to give himself some time to adapt to this world, the least he needed is having some people after his throat as soon as he stepped in this world. There's already enough trouble he needs to deal with in this forest.
He sat meditating following the boy's memories, unfamiliar energy slowly gathering around him, seeping inside his body. His condition slowly recuperated, a smile found its way into his face again as he repeated the process, familiarizing himself more and more.
Feeling satisfied he stood up. The time he spent on this new body gave him the chance to familiarize himself to a certain extent with his new power. He wasn't in his best condition, yet he felt stronger than anytime he ever was on earth.
If only I got transmigrated into a normal situation, that hateful guy. No no, I'm thankful, even if there is one way back, hell no! I won't go back. It's sad though that I won't be able to see my family, let's not think about this for now. I'm itching to test the limit of this body and the wonders of this world, but now isn't the time.
He searched around the trees, he broke a branch with 5 forks, he cut them short, made some traces with it around the clearing. Done with his drawing, he lied on the hole, then he crawled toward a big tree leaving behind a trail. Along the way, he left other traces with the branch. He climbed the tree and looked down at his work, a smirk flashed by his mouth, it did look like an animal dragged something, or so he hoped.

Not wasting any more time, he followed a large branch to another tree, and from it to another, when he couldn't find a close tree, he would step on rocks, or pass through bushes leaving as minimal traces as he could. He moved carefully avoiding any unwanted attention as much as he could. Distancing himself enough, he stopped on top of a tree.
I hope this little trick is enough to mislead them, well I hope they won't come back at all. If you don't come after me, I, the MC will leave alone OK!
He shifted his attention to the next task at hand, his eyes rose sideways, his arm pointed around a few times before it stopped, he took off in that direction. Struggling he finally closed on a small spring nearby, he remembered it from his memories. His alert shot to full attention, water sources could be dangerous, it's not the source of life for nothing. Monsters might frequent it, even worse he might find his enemies taking rest there, or around the area.
He climbed a big tree, found a branch where he could hide, his eyes roamed around, his ears listened for any sound out of the rhythm of nature. Though he was pressured to get away, he couldn't make a hasty move now. he scanned the area many times, nothing to worry about, he closed on the spring. Making the last scan, he hurried on his need in front of the spring his hands invaded the water, cupped they brought water to his mouth. Most of the water spilled before it found its way to his throat, he lost his breaths drinking his fill. He closed his eyes, and let a long sigh, his chest heaves a little bit as he breathed.
'Oh man, I never knew the water was such a blessing!'
'Well I'm a newborn, after all, everything is new for me hehe'
If only I have a container... whatever! at least I'm good now, I could survive longer without water in this world anyway.
He washed his face revealing handsome features and giving off a heroic aura. He stood and prepared himself to leave, he looked at the trace of his steps. It didn't seem that the shoes in this world have special patterns as it is the case on earth, so he didn't care to remove them. Looking at a different way than he came from, he hurried away.
He wandered in the forest, climbing trees, and checking plants. Tweaking with the system, he found it couldn't apprise unknown plants. But it helped him to find faster those known from the dead boy's memories. He relied on it to find edible plants and fruits. He cut a piece of his robe and collected as much as he could. He climbed a nearby tree again, he couldn't feel safe otherwise, he's yet to meet any beast but that didn't make him any more secure.
Man, maybe I should have closed that damn hole, Majid frowned a little bit, his hands rubbing his nonexistent beard. It's not like they have a forensic expert or something, he shrugged his shoulders. Either way, a missing body is gonna ring suspicion, even if his trick didn't work, it's gonna be confusing. At least I think I covered my escape well, hope so.
His body trembled at a sudden sound, far a bush trembled. before bush after bush trembled in linear line toward him. He felt no safety anymore on top of the tree, he wasn't curious to see what surprises lied behind. He jumped from the tree, his face almost embraced the earth again as his legs weakened, but the fear pumped them back into action, he runs like crazy never looking behind...

Far away, in a fancy room, three men sat around a low wide table, walls framed in carved wood were filled with classic paintings and calligraphy.
"Lee Xugi, congratulation for succeeding the patriarchy," said one of 2 men sitting next to each other, clothed in similar grabs. A simple white robes with little bronze embroidery on the sleeves and other ends. On the back, calligraphy was drawn with a fierce tone 'the fire snake clan'.
"You're flattering me, I'm just first in the succession line"
Said Lee Xugi, sitting on the opposite side. His long black hair with a few locks of white drop down of a bun on the back of his head. His high cheekbones were parallel to his jaws and his straight eyebrows tilted down above his nose, further sharpening his narrow eyes. Wearing a deep purple robe, silver threads run through the silk weaving cloud patterns and a fiery snake almost hissed between the back of his shoulders. The door opens, a boy that looked to be around 16 entered the room. He wore a similar robe in red, less impressive of the purple one though. He bowed to the men, and sat next to the man in a purple, the boy looked like a younger version of the man without a chiseled face nor a beard. he leaned toward the purple-robed man.
"You can talk comfortably son, they are with us"
Smiling, Lee Xugi interjected his son. The boy looked at the 2 men on the opposite side suspiciously before he returned to his place.
"Understood father, we took care of him without a problem!"
"Tell me what happened in details"
After he listened to his son, the men frowned
"Didn't I told you to take care of him cleanly Xugao" he looked at his confused son before he continues.
"What if one of his father supporters found him," the least he needs, is some unforeseen problem before I succeed the patriarchy.
"Ah! I understand father, I will take care of it immediately" said Lee Xugao raising his chest.
"No! I expected too much, you're still inexperienced," Xugi cupped his hands in front of him and looked at the men in front of him, "can I count on your help to handle this," a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Sure!" said one of them without any change in his poker face.
"Lead them to the place, and learn!"
"I understand father"
Everybody in the room stands up, the 2 men left the room with the son after they greeted each other.
