With knowledge of human behavior, it is perfectly reasonable to think that, unless they’re destroyed in the blink of an eye, humanity would go down kicking, screaming, crying and cursing. And yet, when the world as humanity knew it stood on the precipice, they went about their business as usual. Mothers and fathers went to work, and their children to school. People were born, some died, others lived and still others died. Wars were fought, with weapons and with words. A completely average day, the best kind of day for something decidedly unusual announce itself.
