Prologue
"Who was the strongest in the age of the system?" A boy asked his grandfather. His grandfather smiled and said, "There are numerous choices...some would say the Chronolomus, the man who could bend time, some would point at the The Elder Dragon of War and some would probably mention the Angel of Death, whose beauty would charm even Buddist monk...
The elder looked at the boy's gaze, who had eyes filled with excitement. The old man smiled and continued, "But...The strongest of them all is a man that became known as the Magma Emperor, the being who freed the Universe.
His son could hardly keep down the excitement of his grandfather's words, "Who was he?" There was a pause. A wave of sadness flashed through his eyes, eyes that reflected an old man who had lived far beyond what should be possible, "Well, then let me tell you the heroic but tragic tale of the Magma emperor. Let me start from the beginning when he was just a young boy, a boy with a flame.
Solar cut through the thick green vines as he went deeper into the jungle.
The humming, buzzing and chirping from various animals and insects made him feel alive, especially compared to the dull inner city where the sound of honking cars and the pungent smell of exhaust made him nauseous.
The young man had long abandoned his thick boots, which would be a foolish decision if he did not have the esper power from his father's bloodline: boosting the thickness and durability of his skin among other things.
Solar danger sense suddenly flared up, forged through countless brawls. He was a bit too late as he felt a sharp pain at his neck. Full of adrenalin, he tried to turn his head. He saw a glimpse of a long green snake.

He fumbled and tried to grip the snake. successful, he employed heat to his hand. He wasn't able to conjure a flame yet, but it still did the trick. The creature hissed in a mixture of pain and surprise. Solar threw it to the ground and made a clean cut with the machete: splitting the snake in two.
"Hahahaha!" Solar fell to his butt and laughed. This was what life was all about. Officially, he was a failure of an esper, born with the bloodline of two of the stronger esper families in the world. He was shunned from his family because didn't agree to follow orders.
Unofficially, he was an adrenaline junkie. He loved fights and exploring the unknown. Solar used a bit of heat and cauterized his wound. FUCK! It hurt, but the pain invigorated him.
"Was the snake poisonous?" Solar said out loud before continuing his way through the jungle. Guess only time would know, but to be on the safe side, he drank a universal antidote that he had prepared. Talking to himself was a bad habit he had picked off when he was rock-climbing a few years ago.
Travelling through the lush vegetation he finally made his way into a clearing. He became nostalgic when ha spotted a familiar cave. Guess he could stop for a day, it was just a few hours until night.
He checked for any animals, luckily no one had taken the cave as their home. He put down his backpack. He sterilised his hands with anti-bacterial gel and washed it off completely with some water. He gathered sticks, figs and leaves from the outside and made up a fire.
After he was done he picked up his last turkey/fermented cucumber sandwich. Solar made a sigh as it was his last one, then he would have to live on his dry-rations.

After dinner, he laid down and looked into the flames. The shadows of the fire danced on the walls. As he looked at the flickering flames and the occasional spark that faded away, he couldn't help but think about his past.
Solar shrugged and buried the sadness that began to build up in him and cleared his head. The past was the past.

A cold voice devoid of any emotion whispered in his ear.
"What the fu--" Solar exclaimed before everything became dark. Seconds later he suddenly found himself in an unfamiliar place. His surroundings looked like something that had been taken straight from a fantasy world: huge thick vines growing on the rocky walls and purple glowing pulps sprouting from the wines, spookily illuminating their surroundings.
Adjustments completed...
Fuse completed...

The System favours the brave.
The System wishes you good luck!
The voice spoke a string of sentences. After the last sentence, everything became quiet and Solar's first steps into the unknown would be taken...
