《Asher the Insane》Asher the Adventurer

I was on my way to the adventurers guild to sign up as any anime protagonist would.

I was already an adult so I couldn't go to school here anymore, so this was the best way to start my journey.

What kind of persona should I take?

I didn’t have a gun yet, so my options are kinda limited.

But I do have a katana, that's a good start.

Edgy lone wolf or cocky brat or even silent weirdo?

Should I just be another anime swordsman?

Feels a bit empty, doesn't it?

Well, what can you do?

After I earned some money I could change my equipment to fit another persona.

I also looked kinda bland, I didn’t have the typical anime character look.

“Hey Faye,” I said to her, the was walking next to me, “is there a way to change my appearance?”

“Generally there are no good ways to change a person's appearance permanently, there are a few ways to change it for a while. There are other ways but you would not like them.”

“Great, come back to me with that when we have some free time.”

I entered the guild house and walked over to the receptionist, an old dwarven man whose beard reached the floor.

“Excuse me, dwarf. I and my companion are looking to sign up.”

“Hold on, what do you mean by ‘Me and my companion’? I never said that I would join you in your profession.”

“What’s the matter, you're stuck with me until I die so why not just do the same thing I do.

We’ll just double our money so there’s no problem.”

“Hmpf, fine,” she puffed.

“What are your names?” The dwarf asked.

“I am the black swordsman, the alpha and the omega, The humanoid typhoon, Asher Burell and this is my lovely companion Lady Faye Paragon.”

“What are your classes?” he asked after an awkward pause.

“I am a first-grade warrior and mage and thief and warlock and cleric and assassin and priest and alchemist and farmer and cultivator…”

A minute later.

“…and that’s about it but I don’t know what Faye is good at.”

I looked at her and she spoke up.

“I am a mage.”

The dwarf scribbled for a while then handed us two necklaces.

“Here are your tag. Congrats, you're part of the guild now as glass rank members.”

“What are ranks, my good man?”

He exhaled loudly and said in one breath, “glass, bone, copper, iron, silver, gold, platinum, mithril, obsidian, diamond.”

Impressive.

"Let's go, Faye."

I looked at the quest board and browsed the notices.

I had no money and needed as much as I could get my hands on.

Now let's begin our ADVENTURES.
