—I see—Camila said with a smile—how about you make yourself comfortable on the couch, and I'll measure your feet. It will only last a few minutes, I'm sure you will get to school well.
Adam nodded and went to sit on the couch. Fortunately, he was as comfortable as he seemed, Adam's legs were in the air, and he was wobbling happily on the couch waiting for the lady to return with the measuring instruments.
—Fine— Camila said as she adjusted the chair to the height of a child; so Adam could put his feet up on the bench.
The lady proceeded to untie the laces and take off their shoes. Seeing the shoes, Camila commented:
—No wonder your dad sent you at this hour. These shoes are a mess!
Adam didn't say anything, but he secretly thanked Camila's imagination. Very carefully, Camila was measuring the dimensions of the boy's foot while she was shouting them out loud.
To Adam's surprise, every time Camila dictated a number to a black book that she brought, you were writing it on her own, it was the first time that Adam had seen such a strange book.
—Well, luckily I have a set of children's shoes— Camila said as she searched the area of boxes that looked quite old—You know there aren't many children born on these floors. Most librarians don't even bother to have them. Or even worse, they have them and...
But Camila stopped looking and saw that the boy was looking at her curiously; children were so rare that she had forgotten that his last sentence might disturb him a bit, so he decided to ignore what he was saying and continue searching.
—Who are your parents, young man?—Camila asked as she struggled with the shoe boxes trying to find the size—I only have one father, he's a collector, his name is Donato. My mother went globetrotting to the upper floors, I never saw her.

—I see— Camila said with a smile, as she found the box she was looking for—I don't know any Donato unfortunately, but she congratulated him for daring to take care of you and leave his job.
The woman approached Adam with a box that was not in good condition, but when she opened it she saw some nice brown shoes in perfect condition, they even shone.
—Do you like them, boy?—Camila asked with a smile on her face.
—Yes! I love them!—Adam answered, somewhat excited by his new shoes.
—I'm glad—said the woman with an even bigger smile—I'm going to do some repairs and treatments for the time they were in the box. The shoes cost 1/18-character paper, you could prepare it.
Adam nodded and waited patiently for the couch with his gold foil in hand, finally the woman came out and stared at the boy with the gold foil in hand for a while, then she looked at the broken box. Without much embarrassment, Camila pulled out another, slightly newer, larger box, she took out their shoes and put Adam's shoes in.
—Kid, this isn't character paper—Camila said as she reached for a green notebook—It's imbued character paper, it's used for other things, you should go deposit it at the bank. Could you pass me your card?
Adam freaked out a bit, but a little nervously, she reached into his robes for a card and handed it to Camila. Adam supposed that nothing bad should happen, at school they also accepted her.
The card only had the following information:
Name: Adam
Identification number: 64341
Camila took the card and began to fill in the data on her green notebook.
—Okay, I have everything—Camila said as she handed the card back to Adam—I'm just going to need you to put your finger here. Otherwise, you should open a bank account, so you can pay me, the bank is on the middle floor 3 of 5, hex 18 of 18.

Adam put out his finger and the notebook lit up crossing out his data, startling Adam.
—Eh...— Camila said, checking the notebook — It seems that your father already opened an account for you in the banking system when you were born. Well, that simplifies everything. Anyway, Adam, go ahead and put that paper down, so you don't lose it.
Adam nodded and left the store through the door. He appeared in the corridors again, with the shoebox in his hands and with a very dazed look. Adam didn't understand why he had a bank account in his name. But he wanted to find out, so he headed to hex 18.

The Ultimate Supporter
Mona stood there, her body has stopped shaking as she stared at Sarah with no expression. “... do I have to set a goal?” Mona asked quietly. “Yes, if you do not then you will not be allowed to play Road Builder.” “...why? Why do we have to set a goal?” “This game is about inspiring people to work hard towards something that they wish to achieve. Don’t you have something you wish to achieve too ma’am?” “... I… do.” “What is your goal then ma’am?” “My goal… my goal is to become the ultimate supporter.” Feelings rushed back into Mona’s eyes as she clenched both her fists hard. “I want to help others succeed. I don’t need to be the main character. I want other people to be the main character.” Mona yelled as tears began to stream down her face. “I just… I just want to feel needed again.” Mona sniffled. Sarah looked at her with a soft expression on her face. “Is ‘I want to become the ultimate supporter’ your final choice?” Sarah asked. Mona bit on her lip as tears continued to stream down her face. She slowly nodded her head. “Alright then… this goal has been registered onto your avatar. You will soon spawn into a town and began your journey.” Sarah smiled, her eyes illuminating warmth to Mona. Mona nodded her head understanding as she wiped away the tears. A blue circle appeared around her as numbers counting down from ten appeared in front of her. 10… 9… 8… “By the way ma’am.” Sarah said. 7… 6… “Yes?” 5… 4… “I am sure you will achieve that goal, and to guarantee that, I give you my blessings.” 3… “What?” 2… “Enjoy your time in Road Builder.” 1… ********* Please point out if you notice any mistakes so that I can fix it. Also, because I re-edit this a lot so the chapters are going to come out very slowly(and because the blue tables take a while to do). Any comments and reviews are welcomed and are appreciated!
