《Uzziye became a florist》Chapter 22 - Ignorance

I had a good sleep with no nightmares. I also ate potatoes and carrots.
It’s so boring being in the cage with nothing to do, so I masturbated for hours. The guards made me stop and threw cold water at me before taking me to the interrogation room.
I’m still scared, but I feel a lot braver. If I don’t do this, I’ll be dooming entire cities.
While I wait for Miry, I look around the room and notice some carvings in the walls. If I had to guess, I believe it’s the security mechanism. It makes no sense to monitor me all the time except in here. If I was a monster, Miry and the Overseer would be dead already. So that means the carvings would activate magic if I release myself.
I have basic knowledge of magic, the bare minimum to work as an adventurer, so I don’t know what it does. I also can’t use it. I have no special abilities. But my gut tells me it’s made to kill.
Most people don’t have abilities. If they have abilities, they join the army, the security force, the adventurers, or the scholars.
“Uzziye, good day.”
Ah, they’re already here.
“Good day.”
The Overseer stares into my eyes for a long time.
“You look ready for this. Are you ready to face reality?”
“I am.”
“Um. I’ll accompany you and Miry in all the sessions.”
“Okay.”
Miry touches my body again and concentrates. She does her best to face me.
“How do you feel?”
“I’m fine.”
“After what I saw yesterday, I came up with a different way to do this. I’ll ask you questions about your past, so please tell me as much as you can and continue telling me your story. If I find something, I’ll stop you.”

“Sure.”
“Even if I can see the past, I can’t read minds. Please answer me with the truth. Why did you let the dead brother escape?”
I can see the Overseer focusing on me.
The order is to kill any victim of possession. Even ordinary people must do it.
With this, they can have me here for the rest of my life as a traitor. If there are victims, they can execute me. I thought I was doing something good by doing nothing, but that’s false. Just like how I’d be killing entire cities by being a coward, innocent blood is in my hands for not killing the brother.
“I know I should have killed him. I hate death. That’s why I didn’t do it. After being at fault for his sister’s death, I couldn’t do it.”
“Do you hate death so much you won’t kill a monster?”
Miry’s voice contains contempt. It seems she hates monsters and is angry at me. At least I hope the Overseer’s ability clarifies this.
“Yes.”
The Overseer steps forward.
“We informed the security force in the area. Soon we’ll know the consequences of your actions.”
After he finishes his words, I feel Miry’s nails penetrating my skin.
I’m not sure what happened to her, and I feel this is the worst moment to ask. It’s best to keep silent.
“Still, you did great fighting that many monsters. However, now we’re sure they have plans for you. They didn’t harm you; they healed you. Then they performed an unknown ritual. Time is essential; do your best.”
“What do you mean?”
“Once I get my answer, you’ll get yours.”
Miry puts more pressure on me with her hand.
“Close your eyes.”
I do it but open them when I hear paper.

“Close your eyes.”
The Overseer got mad. It’s hard to keep my eyes closed. Okay, let’s try it again.
I close them and resist the sound of paper and a pen. I want to look so bad.
“Why do you hate death? Do you remember the first time you saw it?”
Miry’s voice has more compassion in it. She’s a true professional. Or maybe this is normal?
Well, without a doubt, the first time I learned about death was when my parents died.
“Monsters killed my parents when I was five.”
Half a minute passes when Miry tells me to continue.
“Do I tell you of other times I saw people die?”
“Tell me more about your parents! How did you survive? What the monster looked like. Go deep into your memory.”
I hate this.
“I don’t remember what monster did it! I just remember the carriage falling to the side and the screams, my mother hugging me, and my father fighting. Then everything became silent, so I talked with my mother, but she didn’t answer. I noticed the blood and moved my mother only to see her head missing! Father’s half head was lying on the ground!”
“Stop. Breathe.”
The Overseer’s voice takes me back to reality. I can’t stop shaking; I even peed myself.
After I’m calmer, the Overseer talks again.
“Did someone rescue you?”
“No. I ran and was lost for many days.”
“What did you eat?”
“I don’t know. Maybe nothing. Who would want to eat after seeing that?”
“What happened after that?”
Ugh, I remember. That was my first sexual experience. It was disgusting. Though I do even more disgusting things now.
“I found people, and a man took me to his house. I could eat and rest for two days.”
“Blurgh. Sorry.”
Miry pukes and waves her hand for the Overseer to approach. Miry takes a moment to stop the urge to puke.
“He raped her.”
Eh? But he didn’t put it in.
“Show me.”
Miry touches the Overseer’s hand. I can see the Overseer’s face twisting in anger.
Did I do something wrong?
Then the Overseer does something unexpected. He opens his left eye and starts drawing while also taking notes.
That’s so amazing! I wish I could do that.
“Do you remember he raped you?”
“He never put it in. He didn’t do it.”
The Overseer and Miry open their eyes and stare at me. Both are so shocked, but I don’t understand why.
“Even if he didn’t put it in, he raped you.”
“But I was fine. He didn’t threaten me or punch me.”
“So that’s your definition? Then did someone else rape you?”
“Yes.”

Our Chaoz; Our Reality (Completed)
Everyone has their own reasons, be it past events, personality or simply company. But most at some point divulge themselves into videogaming, be it for entertainment or more compettitive reasons. In this year and age there are many genres of gaming, one specific genre though still holds on tight to the ledge it was pushed to trying to pull itself back up. MMORPGs were once the top of everybody's list, adventure, combat, storytelling and endless grind in one single game. It was a different life for most, as if a parallel world to our own. You could be a knight indulging yourself in combat, a mage expertly crafting spells of mass destruction or creation. A ranger exploring the land and hunting down prey, an assassin completing contracts and hording the spoils. A troll scamming children out of their hard earned 10 gold and making more hardcore players rage quit for the day. Or something else. Kyle was a simple player, he always picked the strangest classes or jobs and his characters almost looked the same. He played for the combat, he played for the grind and he played for his guild but above all he played for the story. Kyle is a roleplayer, one who enjoys the simple parts of this virtual life. Whether his guild was starting a war or ending one he'd always have his drammatic entrence or exit, his decleration of annihalition or demand of surrender. After all that? He divulged himself in the game's story, the interaction with NPCS (Non Player Characters) and their advanced AI. He went through many questlines, many tales of heroics and many more adventurers of legend but one thing always remained true with his character. Kyle absolutely loved to the play the villain. But when game turns reality, what will he and his guild of twisted personalities do?
