Christian POV:-

After leaving Aunt's place. I went to Tyler. I am beyond angry, how could he tell her? He is the only one who knows about it. Why did he tell Aunt about it in the first place? I have told him that I and Sophie are on good terms now then why? I cannot fathom. I grit my teeth in irk, my fury burning inside me, I can't leave Sophie. Aunt can't take Sophie away from me. I need her presence. I need her smile. I need her. I don't know what I am feeling for her but she is mine and no one can take her away from me.

I barged in his house as he was shocked to see me. I grabbed his collar and looked at him furiously, "Why the hell you told aunt about that day!?"

"Hey.. what are you talking about?" He asked, confused.

"Only you knew about the night at the party, why in the bloody hell you told Aunt Skye about it?!" I hissed.

"Let go, man! I didn't tell anyone anything." He said pushing me away.

"Then how did she come to know about it?" I said, pulling my hair in frustration, distress by the fact she is not here with me.

"Calm down and then tell me what happened." He said as I took some deep breaths to put my vexation at serene and began to say,

"Aunt knew what I did and took Sophie away from me.." I said.

"Well.. don't mind but you kinda deserve it."

"She forgave me! She also didn't want her to take her away." I defended myself.

"She- what? It's unbelievable. A hotheaded girl like her has actually forgiven you!?" He said in disbelief.

"Yeah. After talking to you I realized that I was wrong and I apologized. I promised that I'll never hurt her. It took me quite a lot of time but now we are on a friendship level.

Everything was going so soothingly. We talked, we laughed, we felt so close to each other. For a moment, I felt attracted.. connected to her. Like my whole being is made for her. She lit up my dark world. She filled my silent home with the sound of laughter. She.. became my salvation. I don't want her to go away." I confessed what I have been feeling for quite a while. Tyler looked at me with wide eyes as I smiled remembering our recent race.

"You know.. before coming here we raced. She won, I didn't know she was that fast." I smiled looking at the ground.

"Dude, Are you okay? Are you sure you are not falling for her?" He asked tentatively.

"I.. don't know.," I replied honestly.

"AMAZING! CHRISTIAN IS FINALLY IN LOVE! IT'S TIME FOR A PARTY!" He cheered in joy as I looked at him with a frown.

"There's nothing to party about."

"Oh, lover boy, I know she can make you feel loved again." He was too happy as I kept looking at him devoid.

"Finally Sophie Skye and Christian Elvis are together. Aunt Eleanor would be exhilarated when she came to know about it. Even I was waiting for it when your age gap wouldn't be a problem and you guys will be an actual couple."

"Are you still stuck on the night when you first saw her?" I asked. "Of course Dude! She was so young- a child and you were an adult! Anyways, now I am at peace to see you with her."

"At least your couple doesn't make you a paedophile anymore." He jokes, pissing me off.

"Finally you understand that you are made for your soulmate." He kept on rambling as I sighed,

"I said, I don't know. Maybe I don't love her." I said but even my heart is not convinced by my words.

"You are just denying it! Don't worry, soon you're gonna come to me saying, I AM IN LOVE!" He said hopelessly. Just how much of an over-dramatic guy is he? But, he is like this only with me or else he is no less than a devil; his work requires it. I exhaled and said,

"We'll talk about it later, help me bring her back," I said as he snapped from his thoughts. "Right, how can we have a party when the main guest would be absent." He said putting his index finger on his chin.

"Damn it, man! You care about the party!?" I said exasperated. He laughed, he was not in the mood to take anything seriously, "No, let's have a seat and talk." He smiled as we sat down and I told him, "Aunt said to accept her as my wife and love her. I will ha[[ily accept her as my wife... the problem is the 'loving' part." I said.

"Hmm. It's easy. Confess your love in front of everyone." He suggested the obvious.

"As if I don't know that. I can't do it. Sophie doesn't love me and maybe I do too. I have to do something that can convince Aunt." I said.

"Don't say this. I think she loves you." He said. I let out an empty laugh upon hearing this. "I don't think so.," I said looking away.

"You sure you don't want to love her?" He asked, eyeing me intensely.

"I don't," I spoke firmly but he leaned in a little,

"Really?" He asked me, giving me a mischievous look.

"Yeah..." I said looking away, trying to deny what he is trying to force out.

"Confirmed?"

"Hmm." And he knew how to force answers out of one's mouth.

"Hmm?"

"Okay, I do!" I confessed and he began to cheer.

"The party is near!" He shouted.

"Shut up!" I glared but he continued to cheer in blithe. After a few moments, he calmed down and asked,

"By the way, If I didn't tell her, then who did? I haven't met Aunt Amelia in a while." I shrugged and he nodded as silence fell upon us but- "I did." Another voice joined the conversation as we both turned our heads only to see Merlin standing there. Rage took over me when I saw her.

"Oh my, What timing! I knew you would be here." She smiled sweetly but I know that cheater woman is anything but sweet.

"Why did you do it?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Who the hell told you to enter my house?" Hissed Tyler.

"How rude.." she said, showing fake sadness.

"But don't worry I am here to tell you that I saw mother Amelia and thought maybe I should tell her how her beloved Christian treated my sister."

"Don't you dare to call her your sister," I growled standing up. She let out a chuckle and sneered,

"Well, She is my younger sister."

"She is nothing to you. Tell me why are you here?" I demanded.

"I never want to leave you. You pushed me out of your life. If I can't be in your life, then no one will." She snarled as I looked down at her in disgust,

"You are so low. Do you think I will accept you after watching you in my bed with some other guy?" I hissed glaring at her.

"Everyone deserves a second chance which you never gave me." She said angrily yet sadly.

"I don't even want to and I am happy to have Sophie as my wife," I said proudly and she stomps on her feet and I decided to fuel her rage,

"You know Merlin, Sophie is far better than you in every aspect. That look of innocence. That shiver whenever I touch her pure body. Those marks of mine which cause her to blush every time she looks at them. That bliss feeling when she glistened with sweat in my arms. The intoxicating scent of her and not just that.

When she cooks for me. When she greeted me. When she smiled at me. When She tried to cheer me up. That look of happiness when I gave her ice-cream. That sweetness of hers can never be compared with anything.

And last but not least, the taste of her lips. That heavenly feeling when she looks at me with her captivating hazel eyes and pleads with me to make her feel loved and at that moment when the feeling of touching her lips is inexplicable. How our lips moved in sync. Sparks travel through me whenever we touch.

She gave me that ultimate holy gratification no woman ever did. Not even you. You are not even near her. She is the only one. Made for me. She was mine, she belongs to me and I am so lucky to be destined with her." I finished and it feels like it is not even enough to explain to her. Tears brimmed in the corner of her eyes as she turned to leave but I continued, "And the best part of our relationship is we are connected. Juliette may have fooled me to trick and marry Sophie by using intimation but I put it on the right track because you know why? Even if there's no love between us, we are spiritually connected. We were fated. It was written on the skies that she is mine and I am hers. And now we are together, no one in this universe can pull us apart." I took a step back, smirking triumphantly at her. My chest boasted with pride when I spoke the truth. Her lips began to quiver. She threw her hairs behind her shoulder and held her head high to show she will become an obstacle to our path so I decided to give her a small warning before she leaves.

"And Before you go remember one thing." I walked towards her and looked at her dead in the eyes. Those eyes that always lied to me but I believed in them. The one, from whom I left the world- even Sophie but she betrayed me. By looking at her all the agonizing pain inside me dwells up but I won't tolerate it if she does anything to Sophie.

"If you did anything to her. I'll show you your worst nightmare. I'll give you a life worse than death if a scratch appears on her delicate skin because of you. I will lose myself and the enmity between us will begin where a painful life lies ahead for you. So watch it whatever you're gonna do might become a step towards hell." I threatened as she began to cry and left terrified. She knows that I am not lying if she did anything, she'll pay.

After she left Tyler trailed off, "Wow, man, You're just..." I smirked and also turned to leave,

"By the way, what you said about your feelings for Sophie, was it true?" He asked intrigued. A smile came to my lips as I replied to him honestly, "It is." I walked out of his home with him cheering from behind,

"I know you love her!"

..Love. I don't know about it but you are my treasure, Sophie...

Its midnight and I am standing in the garden of Aunt's place as I called Sophie,

"Hello?" Her sleepy voice came and a smile crept upon my lips.

"Hey, are you sleeping?" I asked.

"No. I am dancing... Of course, I am sleeping." She groaned as I laughed a little.

"Okay. Sophie."

"Hmm?" Her humming sound is so sweet.

"Come to the garden. I am waiting for you." I said as she was shocked.

"What?! Why?" She almost shouted but then lowered her voice. "Dumbass, what are you doing there?"

"Come, then I'll tell you," I said as I cut the call. I stood there waiting for her as she came out.

"Idiot! What are you doing here? What if Mother sees you?!" She whispered-yelled at me but I smiled in return. She doesn't know what her importance is in my life. Looking at her calms my heart. It gave me immense tranquility.

"That house doesn't feel like home when you are not there. There's scary silence everywhere." I said looking away sadly. She held my hand and passed me an assuring smile.

"Just wait for a few days. Mother's anger will cool down. No need to miss me too much." She said softly. "I hope so." I breathe out, passing her a faint smile. "By the way, tell me, what brings you here at this hour?" She asked letting go of my hand. It feels cold without her warmth. I want to hold her hands forever. Stop thinking like that damn it!

"I was missing you," I replied with a smirk.

"Yeah, and if mother saw you she'll suck all this loneliness."She smirked back as we laughed a little.

"Hey, we are married, why will she stop me from meeting you?"

"Because she is my mother." She said.

"Is this some kind of forbidden relation that I can't meet you and we have to meet in the shadows?" I joked.

"Seems like it." She giggled. "I like the way it sounds," I mumbled to which she giggled again.

"By the way, the reason for me coming here is this," I said showing our contract papers to her.

"Isn't this our marriage contract papers?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion. I just gave her a nod.

"First, I'll accept you as my wife," I said as I handed her the papers.

"What are you doing?" She asked utterly bewildered. I gave her a lighter and said, "Burn them." I said deadpanned- too much to her astonishment.

"Come on do it." I then smiled. Her jaw dropped, she looked at me as if I had said something wrong. I cleared my throat and repeat her exact words,

"Now that you have made this marriage nothing but a mere contract. Let me tell you one thing, Mr Christian Elvis; This marriage will be toxic for both of us."

"And I have told you this already..." I walked closer and held her hand in mine and lit the papers on fire as I stare in her mystifying orbs,

"I will suck this poison out from your very soul."

She looked at me in disbelief as I smirked and took a step back looking at her as she watched the papers burn and I watch her looking at the papers burning to ashes.

She opened her mouth but couldn't find any words to speak. I walked closer, maybe too close, I can even feel her heart beating fast. She was about to take a step back but I held her close, her lower body touched mine as I felt her shiver giving an eerie satisfaction, my smirk not leaving me as I spoke up huskily,

"Now, you are my wife, Sophie Elvis. Not a toy. Not a thing. Just My wife. Sophie Elvis" Then I moved to her neck and whispered, ".That leaves love now..." She stiffed for a second as I can feel her quivering. I leaned in and was about to kiss her but decided not to, I still remember what happened last time when I did that. She closed her eyes, she was overwhelmed to do anything. I felt her breath making my heart skip a beat making me breathless. Our lips brush as my blood hummed for the cravenness I am feeling.

"You are not a toy. You are you. A free human being." I said firmly. And with so much difficulty, I controlled myself I held the urge to kiss her inside me. I don't want to get away from her, her presence gave me solace. Just in a few moments, I realized her importance in my life. I was a severely ill person and she is my cure. I need liberation, I need her.

Gulping hard, my grip on her back tightened as I tried my best to get a hold of myself and not to lose myself in desires. But, the allure I felt for her is too much. My other hand moved from her shoulder to her hand as my fingers intertwined with hers, a deep satisfaction filled me when I felt her hand in mine as if all paradise is on my side. I love how perfectly her hand fits in mine as if it is made for me.

We both began to pant as we stood under the moonlight, it aroused our desires even more. The seduction of night evokes yearnings in me too. The temptation to feel her lips upon mine made my body shudder. Being enticed by her fascinating eyes, I bore in them as if nothing existed around me. Her lowered gaze, flushed. Her being neither filled with hate nor disgust, just shyness with a faint smile that made me feel a blissful feeling.

We were so close to feeling each other's lips but something held both of us as we froze. As if our heart met but our bodies can't. My soul touched hers but my lips can't. We both continued to glisten under the moonlight, panting heavily even though we haven't done anything.

Maybe I was waiting patiently for a signal which can allow me to indulge myself in her deep pools of innocence and she gave me a signal by calling my name,

"Christian.." Her voice came out like a whisper which is like a melody to me. Whenever she calls my name, it gives chills to my bones and evokes endearment in me. My grip tightened on her hand too. Inhaling deeply her addictive scent, I kissed her slowly yet passionately. This time, even she kissed me back. For the first time, she kissed me back with her consent. A feeling of contentment filled me as I was filled with great euphoria. She also moved her lips upon mine, Our lips moved in sync. Our heart feels connected. It feels like there's nothing but her for me and me for her. The feeling of adoration emerges from both of us. A feeling of elation rushed through me when I felt her sweet intoxicating lips upon mine. A long lost thirst of mine was quenched. My heart skipped a beat in rhythm to hers as the breeze danced in accordance to raise our enticement.

The kiss was brief but filled with pure emotions. After the divine kiss of ours as husband and wife. We pulled away. She lowered her gaze shyly. I swear She is driving me insane with this demeanor of hers. I held her chin and made her look at me and smiled,

"You will come back home. I will take you back with me." I promised. As she gave me a nod and got away even though it was unfavoured to me but still. She turned and spoke in a faint tone,

"Christian, You have accepted me as your wife. That's enough for me. You don't have to force yourself to love me." She said sadly and I felt my heart being torn by her words. If once, I want to give myself just a last chance.

She then looked at me and passed me a weak smile,

"Maybe I elicit this in you by myself one day." You already did.

She said as she left. For the one last time, I want to feel love, her love. Just for once, even if that moment doesn't last any longer than a brief pause, I just want to deluge myself in love. In that interlude from my insecurities, I want to fall deeper into the pits of her love. I want to embed this benediction of her presence deep into my soul. Oh my God, that girl would be that end of the world for me.
