Who knew life could change so dramatically in the space of a few minutes? I sure as hell didn't until my parents told me their "great news". I suppose I should start by introducing myself, my name is Riley Burrows, I'm 17, with long blonde hair, green eyes and curves in the right places, anyway, my life has just been changed forever with these words from my mother, "You're going to live with your uncle Bill, you leave tomorrow morning.".

Now this may not seem like a sentence that will change anything too drastically, but my uncle is the president of a bikie club called Devils Spawn, and they are one of the most feared clubs in the country. I'm not a girly girl but I'm not a badass either, so going to the other end of the country to live with a bunch of bikers isn't my life long dream coming true.

"Mom, why the hell do I have to move away?" I asked confused.

"Your father and I are going away on business, we will be gone for the next year and you can't stay here by yourself."

"So you send me to the other end of the country to live with a bunch of bikers and whores? How is that better than staying here alone where I have friends?" I asked, she must be a complete nut if she thinks living with a club full of criminals is better for me.

"I'm not going to argue with you Riley. Pack your things you fly out tomorrow at 10" she said giving me a look which tells me this conversation is over.

I run up to my room and start packing. I text my best friend Savanah.

Me: sav im movn away 2mrw

Sav: wtf where r u goin?

Me: movin down by my uncle in cali

Sav: when do u go?

Me: 2mrw at 10 packn now.

Sav: b thea in 20 girls night in

Twenty minutes later Savanah is on my door step with an over night bag full of movies, junk food amd of course her favourite pajamas. The rest of the day is spent finishing my packing, when thats done we change into our pajamas and have our last girls night in. We fall asleep somewhere around 3am.

I'm woken up at 7am by my mother telling me to get up and get ready to go. I hate that she's making me leave all my friends and move. I sigh heavily and get out of bed waking Savanah as I make my way to the bathroom.

After showering and getting dressed, we go downstairs for breakfast before going to the airport. While sitting down for breakfast I ignore both my parents they both try talking to me but I don't want them to try and excuse the fact that they are sending me away.

"Stop trying to make up excuses, the fact is you are sending me away to live with criminals and whores so you can go off round the world" I had finally snapped.

With a heartbroken look my father finally spoke up, "We should get going before we are late."

I said my goodbyes to Sav and told her I would keep in touch. She left as I was packing my bags into the boot of my parents car. "How are you going to get my car to cali?" I asked not willing ro leave my car behind.

I'm not a girly girl, like I said before, I built my car from the ground up with the help of my dad. It is a 1973 holden monaro with a 355 chevy engine, it's back with gold pearl and a complete beauty.

"It will be shipped down later on today. I don't kbow why you can't have a more feminine car, Riley." my mother says on yet another tangent about my car and how its not ladylike to drive such a beast……blah, blah, blah.

We finally reach the airport, I say goodbye to my parents and go through security. I look back one last time, saying goodbye to my home and my life as I bored the plane to cali.

At that point in time I couldn't have known what was waiting for me, or the life I would eventually come to live.
