Audrey P.V.O

Everything around me was light. I didn't know where I was. I felt myself being pulled one way but another way as well. I could hear someone talking. That voice...it was Killian.

He sounds upset. Why?

I tried to wake up but I couldn't. I wanted to see him and Gabriella. Why couldn't I go to them.

I was brought to a light where I could see again. It was so bright here. Looking ahead I saw two lights form. Soon the two lights were people.

"Grandma, Mom" I ran to them but my grandma stopped me. My mom was behind her inside a gold fence.

"Nonna let me see mom." I said looking to my mom with a smile.

"No fiore. If I do you won't want to leave."

"What?"

"If I let you see her you will not want to go back. You need to go back. Your little girl and that boy need you." I felt tears go to my eyes.

"But I just got here. I want to stay with you and her."

"I know Audrey but they need you. We will see you soon...but now is not your time." She smiled and kissed my cheek.

I looked to my mom and saw her smile and wave before she was gone.

"Fiore she's watching you. She's so happy of the women you have become. Make her proud." My grandma said before she moved back. I watched her smile before she was gone.

I was polled out of the light and I felt something pull me back. I jumped up taking all the air I could.

"Audrey." I looked to see Killian getting up out of the chair he was in. He grabbed me and held me.

"Your ok." He said as I started to cry. I couldn't tell him what I saw because he would think I was crazy.

"Where's Gabriella?"

He pulled back and smiled. "She's doing great. She's recovering just fine."

I looked to him and saw that he looked as he had gotten no sleep. There was a little stubble growing and it made me think about how long I was out for.

"What day is it?" I started looking around to see if there was a calendar.

"December 9th." My eyes popped out of my eyes.

"I've been out for 3 weeks?" He nodded his head.

"I thought we were going to lose you." He whispered looking down at his hands. I pulled his head up to look at me.

"I'm not going anywhere." I placed my lips softly on his and pulled him closer.

It was a little bit later and I had wanted to get up and go see Gabriella. I had pain in my shoulder but nothing to bad. When I got up Killian was there helping me walk because I was just a Little weak.

When we got to her room I saw her sitting up coloring. She had a cast on her leg and a few scratches that looked like they were almost gone.

"MOMMY." I smiled and walked over to her and was carful when I wrapped my arms around her.

"My sweet little baby your ok." I felt tears fall from my eyes. I was so happy that she was ok.

"Killian stayed with me. He told me that you were getting better." I pulled back and looked down at her with a smile. I sat with her and grabbed Killian's hand.

"Gabriella do you remember that I told you that your dad was on a long trip?" She nodded her head.

"Well he's home now. He's been home for a while actually." I looked to Killian and saw that he was shocked.

"Who is he?"

"Killian." I said looking back to her. She looked between me and him. She smiled and jumped up wrapping her arms around him.

"I knew it!" She screamed making me laugh. Killian looked really happy that I had just said it.

"Ok ok let's sit you down. Your still healing." Killian laughed pulling her down to sit.

"Does this mean we're a family now?" My whole body froze. As much as I wanted to be one I don't think I could let my heart get hurt again if Killian leaves.

I could feel him looking at me but I didn't dare look.

The doctors came in thankfully and talked to us. They had told us that we could leave in a few days. They just wanted to keep us to check on us.
