《Greatest Pleasure》twenty nine - cloudy

Stormi's pov.
I try to open my eyes but they feel extremely heavy. Almost as if I'm lifting up concrete from my eyes.
I've been in and out of consciousness for what feels like days.
Kaden.
"Kaden!" I try to scream out but all I can hear is my own thoughts, barely.
I try to open my mouth but it feels numb.
I blink my eyes a few more times. I'm getting used to the heaviness.
I look at the bright light above me as my vision starts to become clearer with each blink.
When my focus comes clear into view, I start to look around me.
I'm in a empty room. The walls are a brown, rusted color with nothing in sight besides a small table near the corner by the door and an empty metal chair.
I try to sit up and my heart begins to race as I see both of my wrist are tied to the bed rails. I try my feet next with absolutely no lucky. They are tied together to the rails, one on top of the other.
Oh no! This can't be happening.
"Kaden!" I scream. This time exceeding.
My throat is burning with pain and my scream comes out scratchy cough.
My mouth feels like a desert.
I lick my lips as much as possible but there's hardly any moisture coming out of my mouth.
The tears begin to form at the corners of my eyes as I realize how badly I fucked up.
I shouldn't of ran!
But, Kaden didn't want me.
I try to repeat those words hoping they would help me feel better but they make me feel worse and the tears begin to fall like rain from the sky.
"Kaden!" I scream once again, this one more painful that the first one.
I scream his name a few more times before I hear heavy boot footsteps heading my way.
I try to sit up as much as possible, ignoring the pain coming from my wrist and ankles.
Seconds later, the door swings open and two men walk inside.
They are wearing all black with black face mask on and black hats.
Only their eyes are showing.
One looks at me before looking behind him and nodding his head.

The second man disappears as the first one starts walking towards me.
He runs his fingertips up my leg starting at my ankle to my thigh.
He grips my thigh in his hand before looking at me.
I can see his fucking smile through his mask.
"Fuck you!" I say staring straight into his grey eyes.
He chuckles but doesn't say anything.
His hand stays grips around my thigh as his fingertips tap the inside of my thigh.
"When Kaden finds you, he will kill you. He'll torture you more once he finds out you touched me." I say through my teeth.
He shrugs. "If he ever finds you. You've been here for two weeks."
Two weeks?
I've been kidnapped for two weeks?
Why hasn't Kaden found me?
Is he even searching?
Does he even know?
What...what if... He doesn't care that I'm gone?
"Not so confident now, are you Pocket?"
Pocket.
My eyes widen as I stare at him.
My heart begins to skip beats as I feel goosebumps crawling over my skin.
I stare into his grey eyes and study them.
If I know him, why can't I remember him?
I would remember his grey eyes.
I would remember his voice.
"My name is Stormi!"
He smiles again. "Okay... pocket."
"Who are you?" I ask after a few minutes.
"Nobody." He whispers.
"What are you going to do with me?"
"That's not up to me."
"Are you the one who kidnapped me?"
"Technically, we saved you. You were passed out, barely breathing. I found you and brought you here."
"Why?" I asked.
He palms my face with his free hand and wipes away the tear stains on my cheeks.
"Because someone is looking for you and we are doing everything to keep you safe. They will be here in a few days to pick you up. You are safe here."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "If I was safe here, then why am I tied up?"
He laughs. A real laugh. "Because you like to run. You are a fighter. In other cases, that would be great but in this one, we need you here."
"I won't run." I lie.

He doesn't believe me either because he raises his eye brows at me.
"Like you promised Kaden?"
"He didn't want me." I admit fighting back the tears.
Wait.
"How did you know I ran from Kaden?"
"Because we've been watching you."
"Then you'd know, I didn't run from Kaden. I ran from Jullian."
"Still running from Kaden since Jullian works for him."
I clinch my jaw as I stare at him.
"Is this because of Kaden?" I ask.
He nods.
I wait for an answer but after waiting for awhile, I finally ask when he doesn't say anything.
"Kaden is a bad man. We are just trying to save you from death. Kaden is nothing but death. The devil in disguise."
"That's not true!" I say instantly. Defending him.
"He kills people."
"You kidnap people." I fire back.
"He tortures people."
I let out a little laugh. "And what do you call what your doing to me?"
He tilts his head as he takes in what I said.
"He sells drugs to people. Ruining families, killing people, and robbing people of their insanity!" He raises his voice.
"They choose to do the drugs. If they don't get them from Kaden, they'd get them elsewhere." I defend again.
"He sells guns which leads to people getting murders. Mothers, father's, daughters and sons, murdered everyday."
"He isn't the one behind the trigger. Again, their choice."
"Do you always defend his actions?"
"Do you always try to make others out to be the bad guy without looking in the mirror at yourself first? You're just as guilty as the next person!" I spit back.
He shakes his head and turns his attention to the man walking in.
He is carrying in a tray with a sandwich, two bottles of water and a syringe.
I look into the man's eyes as he stares at me.
His eyes are a dark green with a small hint of brown.
He twist off the lid on the water and puts it towards my lips.
"Drink!" His deep hispanic accent demands.
I part my lips and drink nearly the whole thing before he moves it away.
"Eat!" He demands shoving the sandwich near my lips.
I take a bit and start to chew before spitting it out.
Bologna.
Fucking bologna.
"I don't like bologna." I whisper when they both give me a angry look. Their puffy eyes brows scrunched together.
"Don't be ungrateful." Grey eyes says.
"I'm not hungry." I say turning my face away from green eyes.
"You don't get a choice!" Green eye yells.
I keep my head turned away from him.
I feel him grip a handful of hair and he yanks my head back against his chest.
He leans my head down so I'm forced to stare at him.
"If you don't eat this, you won't eat for a few more days."
"So?" I say as confident as I can.
He rolls his eyes and throws my head forwards before slamming the sandwich on the plate.
"No water then either." He says before putting the syringe near my feet before storming out of the room.
"It's not nice to spit out food." Grey eyes says.
"Well, it's not nice to kidnap people then expect them to eat stale bologna sandwiches."
He laughs before finally letting go of my thigh and grabbing the syringe.
"What's that?" I ask as my heart races.
"It's to help you sleep."
"I don't want to sleep!" I yell as he places his hand around my arm.
I look down at my arm and see several little holes up and down my arm.
I look like a drug addict with all the tiny hole marks. Many of them are bruised.
"Please don't!" I beg as he feels around for a vein.
He looks into my eyes and I can see sadness in them.
"Trust me, I don't want to but it's better this way." He says as he shoves it inside my vein and I watch as the clear liquid starts to disappear into my veins.
He wipes away the blood and grabs the back of my head.
He leans down and kisses my head. "Sleep good sleeping beauty."
I watch as he starts to walk towards the door.
My eyes begin to feel alot heavier than before and my vision begins to blur.
I lay my head back and fight the sleepiness coming over me.
"Kaden." I whisper before the blackness takes over again.
