《Greatest Pleasure》twenty eight - told you

Romeo's pov

I ignore the pain coming from my chest as I notice the ache coming from everyone in the house because of Stormi's absence.

It's a hard blow for everyone especially because Stormi was the sunshine in the house everyday no matter what.

It's only been less than twenty four hours but it still hurts.

I put down my beer as I feel my phone vibrating.

Jullian.

Before I could even say 'hello', Jullian started to ramble on.

"Stormi ran away! She was in the bathroom and disappeared through the window! I can't find her anywhere! I've been looking for hours!" He screams panicking.

He's a dead man.

My heart squeezes at itself and all the air from my lungs are stuck in my throat.

I knew this was going to happen.

I knew she was going to cause a scene when she woke up.

"Have you called Kaden?" I whisper.

"I tried! He was upset earlier because Stormi grabbed my phone and called him. She was so upset." I could hear the tears coming down his face.

"Send me your location. I'll be there soon." I hangup and call Jarred filling him in.

I drown the rest of my beer before telling everyone to get ready and to get the car ready.

I send out a report to let everyone in our network know to keep an eye out for Stormi before heading into Kadens office.

He looks like shit. He's been moving none stop doing everything in his power to find results. Doing everything to bring Stormi home safely.

His blue eyes are a hallow black with black bags underneath his eyes.

I knock on the side of the door frame.

He lifts his head with hope in his eyes but it instantly fades when he sees me.

"Jullian is trying to reach you." I whisper.

He nods. "I'm afraid it's Stormi again. She...uh she....she hates me. You were right."

The regret in his voice is clear as day. I watch his eye gloss over before he looks down.

"Stormi ran away." I whisper taking a step back.

His whole body stills as his eyes widen. It takes a few seconds for it to hit him and he stands up the second it does.

He throws his desk across the room and grabs his phone before rushing downstairs to the car.

I jump in the driver's seat and put the location into my gps. It's over twelve hours away.

"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU LOSE HER?" Kaden screams on the phone.

I look back and forth into the rearview mirror and watch his face harden with each second.

"You're a dead man." He whispers before hanging up and throwing his phone on the floor.

He punches the back of the seat a few times and the door until his hand starts to bleed.

"Take me to my jet. This drive is to long!" He says coldly.

I nod and turn around. I check behind us to make sure everyone is following behind me.

Once we reach the jet, Kaden gets out and heads in along with all of us.

We make it there within a few hours. Jullian face is filled with fear as he stares Kaden down.

Kaden lands a few punches on Jillian's face before grabbing the collar of his dress shirt and lifting him off the ground.

"You lost the only thing that has ever mattered to me. If it wasn't for her, your blood would be spread across this pavement. She's the only one saving your life right now. If we don't find her, I will never let you outlive this." Kaden screams throwing him towards the ground.

Kaden left him off easy...... for now.

Jullian quickly gets up and jumps into he driver's seat. He drives us to the gas station he was at when Stormi ran away.

We all get out and each of us gets a part to go search at within a few mile radius.

We all know Stormi. She doesn't like to run at all or walk for that matter. She made Kaden carry her on his back after a ten minute walk in the mall.

She even made me carry her to the kitchen once from the living room.

I'm telling you, there is absolutely no way Stormi is far away. She is probably hiding behind a bush taking a nap.

After searching for over two hours with no trace of Stormi, everyone is worried.

Jarred has been going over street cameras and building footage to see where she has gone but after the place eight miles away where she was last seen, she wasn't seen anywhere else.

"This is fucking bullshit." Kaden screams slamming Jullian to the side of the car. "All you had to do was watch her until you got her to the safe house. You couldn't even fucking do that. You are a worthless----"

I put my hand on Kadens shoulder and feel him tense up. "Jillian didn't watch her as closely as he could of but we all know Stormi. Stormi is hard to handle sometimes. She managed to hide from everyone your one month anniversary dinner. Nobody knew where she was even though she stood out."

Kadens face calms for a minute before his eyes gloss over.

Fuck, I knew I shouldn't of mentioned that.

"I'm sorry." Jullian whispers.

Kaden let's go of the collar of Jullians shirt and takes a step back.

"Let me get a cigarette Romeo." Kaden says holding out his hand.

I let out a little laugh that quickly drops when Kaden gives me the death glare.

"Stormi would kill both of us if she finds out you smoked a cigarette..." I take a step back and hold up both of my hands. "Hell no bro."

He stares at me for a second. His eyes are completely lost. It's like looking into a black tunnel. Empty, lost and you never know when you'll escape the darkness.

After a few minutes of watching me, he smiles and shakes his head. "Stormi would, would she?"

After a few awkward moments of silence, Kaden waves all the men over. We stand around in a circle around Kaden.

"I'm thankful for each and everyone of you for doing absolutely everything to help me find Stormi. I am sorry that I had her leave but it's for her safety. I know all of you rather lose her sunshine for a while rather than...."

He trails off and wipes the corners of his eyes.

"We need to find her. After we find her and find out who has been targeting her, everyone is going on a nice long vacation. The faster we find her and the people who's after her, the bigger your bonus will be. Please just help me bring my Princessa home."

I wrap my arms around Kadens shoulders as his words turn into a painful, hallow cry. His tears are coming down like water from a faucet.

He wraps his arms around my back and grips my shirt as he cries into my shoulder.

As much as I want to feel sorry for him, I told him not to let her go.

But he didn't listen to me... As usual.
