"When I get out of here, I'm going to make sure Mr Summer goes to prison," I muttered.
"Ce stupide bâtard pense qu'il peut s'en tirer avec tout ça? Il pense qu'il peut juste nous enfermer ici et se moquer de nous? Une fois en prison, nous verrons qui rira à la fin."
"Is she speaking French?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah. When she starts rambling in a different language, that's when you know not to mess with her."
I glared at Ben and he raised his hands up in surrender.
It's been three days. Three freakin' days! The only time we see another human being is when they give us our crappy food. And it's super awkward and embarrassing if one of us needs to use the bathroom.
I needed to get out of here, or else I'll slap someone. Ben has offered to be the person I slap for some strange reason, saying it would be funny. So I did, and the next thing I know, he's sitting in a corner mumbling how mean I was.
My mind would always go back to how Ace is doing. Is he okay? Have they hurt him? I haven't even heard from Levi or his friends yet. What if something happened to them?
Ugh, so many stupid unanswered questions I begged to know.
If my prediction - that Mr Summer secretly has another business - is right, then that would break the contract. All I needed was to get out and cause something to make Mr Summer look the guilty man he is. The cameras Ben set up would be a perfect way to get the evidence. I told Ben and Jacob about what my prediction two days ago, and they seemed to like the plan.
Well, half of the plan at least. We still need to find a way to get out of here.
"Can't you guys use your gun to get someone's attention?" Jacob asked.
"We want them to think that we're weaponless," I explained. "And what if we get the wrong person's attention?"
"Besides," Ben smiled. "We're saving our bullets for something else."
I rolled my eyes just as Jacob chuckled. We all chatted for a bit, trying to lighten the mood, but then silence soon dominated over us.
Another hour passed before we heard familiar voices yelling with the voices of the people who I assume work for Mr Summer.
The small slide opened to reveal the familiar eyes of Levi. "You guys okay?"
"No! Now open this damn door!" Ben cried.
Because Mr Summer had the key, Levi said that he'd have to pick the lock. It took a while before he managed to unlock the door, setting Jacob, Ben and I free.
When I saw what happened outside, I was surprised to see the man who said that I would be in trouble - along with a few other men - pinned to the ground by Levi and Ben's friends. His eyes landed on me as he tried to struggle free.
"Look who's going to be in trouble now?" I chuckled.

"Bitch," he spat.
"Take them away," Levi suddenly snapped. His hands were in fists as his eyes were narrowed at the man I was talking to. His friends didn't bother to argue as they took them away. Levi turned to be, his eyes softening.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded, and he sighed. "Good. Ace will kill me if you got hurt," he chuckled. "Come on. lets head back."
Ben and Levi were talking as Jacob and I were behind him. Jacob was talking about random things, and I guess it was so he could take his mind off this whole situation. I don't think he minds me not listening because he didn't stop.
I was thinking about how to expose Mr Summer when I see him again. And not just him. I have to have a serious talk with Mr King.
When we arrived back to our little camp, I saw that the second car was gone, and that only a few of Ben and Levi's friends were standing there. Like before, when they saw me they acted like hawks. Watching my every move. It was scary.
What's up with them?
"By the way," Levi said, looking at me. "how did Jacob get here?"
"He followed us."
Surprisingly, Jacob got along with the other men when he approached them. I don't know if anyone saw this, or if I'm just imagining, but I saw one of them smile.
As they chatted, Ben and I told Levi what Mr Summer could be hiding while he told us what happened to him and his friends.
He mentioned that most of his friends got injured when they tried to pass through Mr Summer's guards to get to the house. However, they were able to successfully get rid of a few of the guards.
I don't know if that meant he killed them, or just badly injured them. Either way, I was glad that we were getting closer to getting Ace back. Levi also stated that they were able to find us from the arguing that those men were causing.
Looks like those bad guys actually help us.
We all decided that tomorrow we would figure out a way to expose Mr Summer because it was already late at night.
There were five tents that I didn't notice they had set up. I went into one, and as I fixed the blanket and pillow Levi gave me, I saw someone about to enter the tent. But before I could see who it was, someone told them to stop.
"She's in there. Boss will kill you if you share the same tent as her."
"I didn't know she was here," the guy spoke before making his way out.
Thank goodness.
Lying down, I felt more relaxed now that I was no longer sleeping on a very uncomfortable bed.
The next time I woke up, someone was calling my name from outside of the tent. I asked them who it was - because my brain doesn't function early in the morning - and the voice said his name was Ben.
I realized that I haven't showered in three days, so I probably smell like a dump. I frowned, but flattened my hair so it wasn't in its usually ruffled mess like it always is in the mornings before I opened the tent with the zipper.

Ben stood there, holding a sandwich that was placed on top of a towel and a set of my clothes.
"Thanks, but how did you get my clothes?"
"Ace always tells us to have extra clothes in our cars for emergencies like this. He also put yours too."
That's not creepy at all. Note the sarcasm.
I grabbed the things from him before going outside. Ben mentioned that there was a lake near by I can bath in. I was a bit worried that some creep would be watching me, but Ben assured me that Jacob would be with me, and he was strictly told face the other when we arrived there.
Even if Jacob is gay, and was ordered to face the other direction from where I was, I felt uncomfortable. I'm very insecure about body.
Jacob and I walked to the lake that Ben mentioned to us, and when we saw it, Jacob did as he was told and faced the other way. He didn't really need to face that direction for the entire time. I mean, as long as he doesn't look directly at me, he won't get in trouble.
I looked around, and when I felt that no one was looking, I stripped out of my clothes and quickly jumped into the lake.
"You know those guys I was talking to yesterday?" Jacob asked as I rinsed my hair, trying to get all the stickiness and dirt out.
I hummed in response before he continued.
"Well, one of them is like, really cute. But they're straight. I mean, that's such a waste of gorgeousness I could've had."
I laughed as Jacob kept talking.
After I changed into my new set of clothes, Jacob and I headed back. Jacob immediately went to go talk to the group of guys while I decided to stick with Levi and Ben. When I saw them, they seemed to be in a serious conversation.
Levi's eyes landed on me before he turned to Ben and told him something.
Ben walked over to me with his usual smile before taking the things from hands, but them in a plastic bag before throwing them into the car.
"Mia?" I looked at Levi, and he seemed to be nervous for some reason. "Mind if I talk to you, privately."
"Sure..."
Levi and I walked away from where the others were, and once we were far enough, he stopped.
"It's about Ace."
"What happened? Is he okay? Is he hurt? Did Mr Summer do something to him?" I panicked.
"He's fine," Levi reassured, but he sounded somewhat upset. So me being me, I asked what was wrong. If he said that Ace was okay, shouldn't be glad?
"He agreed to marry Mindy."
With those five words, I felt sick. Any sort of hope disappeared and I was left with a sickening feeling in my stomach.
He agreed to marry Mindy? That couldn't be true.
After everything we went through to prevent him from marrying her, did he suddenly just give up?
"You're lying," I strained.
Levi sadly shook his head and walked towards me before pulling me into a hug. That's when I realized I was crying when he told me that it was okay. But it's not. Ever since this whole thing began, nothing has been okay. I don't want the person I love marrying someone else.
The thought made my heart sink.
I was stupid to think that he didn't like me back for all those years. He gave me so many hints and made it obvious that he had feelings for me. But I refused to think his sweet actions meant anything but friendly. I denied everything because I thought that someone like him wouldn't like someone like me.
I'm not the kind of girl guys fall in love with.
Yet, somehow Ace did.
But I realized too late, and now I can never have him back because I was too stupid in the past.
I gripped onto Levi's shirt as I continued to cry. I'm being too emotional, but I don't care. Levi held me closer to him, tightening his grip as if he were to let go I'd break.
"Mia, I'm sure he had his reasons for agreeing. He loves you more than anything in the world. He probably had some kind of plan," I heard Levi state as I started to calm down.
Please let that be true.
"They're having the wedding in a few days. We'll get Ace beforehand, okay?"
"Okay," I murmured.
We stayed silent for a few moments as we stayed in each other's arms. I wanted to be in Ace's arms, and hopefully, I will be soon.
Levi slowly pulled away, but just enough to look me in the eyes. "You alright?" he asked.
I nodded, giving him the best smile I could muster at the moment. He stared down at me, his eyes never leaving mine as an unfamiliar emotion showed in his eyes. My brows furrowed together in confusion.
"Levi?"
My eyes widened when he leaned in and smashed his lips over mine. I felt my body tense before he pulled away. This time, his eyes widened, and he pushed me away as if I had burned him.
"I-I," he stuttered. "I'm so sorry!"
Before I could say anything, he ran away, leaving me alone to register what in the world just happened. Bringing my fingers to touch my lips, I looked to the direction he ran off to.
Levi just kissed me.
"Mia, you okay?" I jumped when I heard Ben's voice. I turned around and smiled.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Where's Levi? Wasn't he talking with you?"
"He said he needed to get something," I lied.
Ben narrowed his eyes at me before he sighed.
"Okay, well come on. They guys want to properly introduce themselves to you since we're going to be spending some time together."
I nodded and turned to look back the direction he went before following Ben.
