《Bad Wolf (boyxboy)》Chapter 12: The hurt

"I would still like you Mani."
🌚
He tries to prepare himself for the sudden attack as the white wolf comes crashing down upon him, white heavy paws pin him to the ground as Mani finds the strength from somewhere within to break free, but it's no use. The sheer size of the alpha is too great for the omega to overpower.
Teddy had felt so hurt by Mani's actions, that he just didn't know how to process it. So now here he was….his wolf, staring down at the petrified omega, ready to tear him limb from limb.
He opens his jaws. The white canines are huge as he aims straight for the shoulder of the black wolf. It causes Mani to instantly yelp at the injury inflicted, the cry of pain, begging the alpha to stop. But it's not enough for Teddy. If anything it gave him satisfaction, he wanted to inflict pain. He wanted the black wolf to hurt, just like him.
So he carries on…and on. Chunks of coarse black hair, are being torn from his flesh. Mani continues to cry out in pain, though just a little less as his mind feels weak.
Then he seems to shut down as the last thing he remembers is the cold blue of the alpha's eyes, being caught in the moonlight….

"I'm sorry… please forgive me."
Mani begins to stir from his sleeping state. He could have sworn he had heard someone crying. Had he just awoken from a nightmare?
"Mani?"
He now opens his eyes a little more at the sound of someone calling his name. Then a rush pulses through him like a tsunami as he knows who it is. "Teddy?"
"Mani, thank God! I thought I'd killed you." Teddy dares to lean over Mani's weakened frame, which was laying on Jojo's unoccupied bed.

Mani tries to sit up, but he feels bruised. He looks down at his body. It is naked, save a sheet draped across his midriff. His skin is dirty and grazed. "Teddy, why am I here? What have you done? Where are my things?"
"Please forgive me." Is all Teddy says, repeating the words he had already spoken.
"Teddy?" Mani says warily. "What have you done?"
"My wolf. I couldn't control it, I wanted to hurt you Mani. I wanted to kill you." Teddy now crashes to his knees by the bed Mani was laying on. He buries his head in the crook of Mani's arm. He could feel the guilt radiating from the male. He sees the shaggy blonde almost white head of hair resting upon him.
He raises his hand and begins to lightly stroke the locks. "It's ok." He finds himself saying as he looks down at the alpha begging forgiveness. "I shouldn't have denied you the way I did…"
"Then why did you say it?" Teddy cries out. Mani suddenly pulls his hand away at the instant Teddy raises his head to look at him. His eyes were glassy with tears. It made Mani's heart break all over again.
"Teddy, would you look at me twice if we didn't possess this instinct?"
"What do you mean? That's not how it works with the wolfkind." Teddy doesn't understand, furrowing his brow. "You know fate decides."
"But what if fate is wrong?" Mani is quick to reply.
"Fate is never wrong."
"But what if it is?" Mani insists. He bites on his lip before continuing. "I like Jojo."
"Don't say his name!" Teddy shouts, but soon regrets it when he sees Mani recoil. "I'm sorry, it's just hard for me to understand. "I can't help but want you." He makes an attempt to show his softer side as he reaches a hand forwards to cup Mani's cheek.

Mani freezes. Closing his eyes. He feels the hand on his skin. "I know. I can't help but feel drawn to you too." He finds himself saying.
"Then why do you fight it?" Teddy again asks, his voice sounding desperate.
Mani opens his eyes and sighs. "I want us to like eachother for who we are. That's all. That's why I'm here."
"What do you mean?" Teddy says, withdrawing his hand as he now goes to sit on the end of the bed.
"Chemistry. I want to create a mist, a spray to mask myself from the wolfkind, so if I found someone, it wouldn't be because of fate, it would be because they liked me. But you had to find me first didn't you. You had to make me feel this way and make me the bad guy." Mani now felt like he wanted to cry, his physical injuries as well as his emotional pain were taking their toll.
"I would still like you, Mani." Teddy insists. "I would show you that fate happens for a reason."
"Well…" Mani now tries to get up from the bed. He pulls the sheet around him in the process. "We will soon see because I will find something to stop me feeling like this…Now give me my bag. I need to get dressed." Mani was keen to leave. He looks at Teddy expectedly.
"I don't have it." Teddy says as he gets to standing.
"What? So… how am I meant to get back to my dorm?" Mani now starts to feel stressed. He just wanted to get away from the alpha, he felt weak. It he didn't leave soon, he would end up staying for more than just the comfort of a bed.
"In the woods I expect." Teddy lets a smirk grace his lips. Maybe he had purposely not looked for Mani's belongings in the hope that just this situation would happen. "Just stay here tonight."
"You're kidding me right!" Mani lets out a laugh. He must have been joking. "Have you not been listening to a word I've been saying?"
"I have Mani. I have listened to your ridiculous notions of trying to find a mate in a very nonsensical way in my opinion and now you must listen to me." Teddy now takes a step forward. He towers over the omega. It makes Mani clutch tightly at the sheet around his waist as his brown eyes look up and into the blue orbs. "If you stay and resist me for one night, I'll do it your way. I'll make you fall in love with me."
