"Okay, everyone settle down! I have good news for all of you!" I announced as I walked inside the classroom.

My little students rumbled their way back into their seats and all ears and eyes were on me as I placed my things on the teacher's table.

"What is it, Ms. Garwood?"

"What is it? What is it?"

"Shut up, Ryder! Ms. Garwood is trying to talk."

"You're not even listening, Annie. You're just drawing there."

I clapped my hands together to get their full attention again. "Hey, everyone, silence! Do you want to know the news or not? If not then I'll give you a quiz today."

Audible groans and whines build up in the classroom along with continuous no's coming my way. I gave them a few seconds to calm down and eventually they stayed quiet.

That's what I thought.

"Okay, is everyone ready to listen now?" I asked.

They nodded their heads.

"For the whole week next week, there won't be any classes." I announced and all my pupils jumped out for joy in their seats. "But there's a catch, instead we're going to have a fundraising bake sale!"

Sending the one of the last email to my students' parents about the bake sale, I'm finally done with most of my work that day. Before the dismissal time, I told the kids to finalize what they're bringing to the bake sale with their parents and to tell me about it either tomorrow or Wednesday.

The teachers were also required to bake something, too. I haven't thought about what I'm going to bake. I love baking. My mom and I used to spend all our free time in the kitchen. It just takes a lot of time to do everything, especially when you're making a big batch of baked goods.

"He's so hot." I can hear the other teachers in the room say. "I swear, just by looking at his green eyes, my knees weaken."

"You're so lucky you got those last remaining tickets! I didn't even know he was having a surprise tour here. I've been busy with work that I haven't been updated on."

"Don't worry, I'll send you tons of pictures and videos from his concert on Friday."

"Callie," I hear someone call me.

I looked up from my work and turned to who called me. "Yeah?"

It was Tracey. "You wanna go shopping for the ingredients for the bake sale this weekend?"

"I haven't even thought of what I'm going to bake." I beamed, leaning on the back of my chair. "But I'll think of something later, so why not?"

The bake sale was going to be held in front of the school under huge catering tents. It's open for anyone who wants to buy anything, even if they don't associate with the school. The event will last for two days. The purpose for this fundraising is to raise the money for the school field trips coming this coming few months.

"Angel," I hear someone whispering in my ear while I'm sleeping---well, I was sleeping. "It's your birthday. Wake up, I have a lot of plans for you today."

I stirred. "Jackson, shh." With my eyes still closed, I put a finger over what I assumed where his mouth was. "Let the birthday girl sleep in."

"Do we have to wake you up in the easy way or hard way?" He took my hand away from his face and pressed a lingering kiss on the back of my palm.

I only hummed in response before hiding myself further in the covers, wanting to go back to sleep. I didn't really want to get up. If possible I just want to cuddle with Jack for the whole day and I'll be fully content with it.

"You're really not going to get up are you?"

I ignored him.

"I guess, we'll really have to go the hard way." I heard him draw out a loud sigh.

Really, this guy is always the one who likes to wake me up early every time! I don't know if it's just because he enjoys me suffering having to wake up every morni-

"AHH!!" I shrieked so loud that the other side of the country might have heard. "JACKSON COHEN, FUCKING STOP! AHH!! " He was tickling the crap out of me!

And he knows damn well that I'm very ticklish. He uses it to his every advantage.

"O-OKAY, F-FINE! I'LL G-GET UP! STOP IT! I--- WAHAHAHAH PROMISE!" I begged while obnoxiously laughing. "PLEASE!"

He finally stops tickling me. "That's what I thought. Go get ready first and we'll go from then."

Eventually, I did get up and got ready. Jack was really ecstatic about his whole surprise. I'm really glad that he's back from LA. He has been so busy the past few months and we were in a long distance relationship. We would always text and call, but it wasn't enough.

When we arrived at the spot, I realized that we were parked near our favorite spot at the pond.

I let out a gasp as I saw the scenery. There was a picnic blanket laid out and a cute picnic basket sitting in the middle of it next to his guitar that I gave him for his 15th birthday.

He always says to everyone that it was his favorite guitar out of all he owns. Ever since then, he took care of that guitar like it was his baby. Never let anyone touch it unless it's him or me. I hoped that he would like what I bought him, but I never thought he would actually love it that much.

"Did you plan all of this by yourself?" I asked in disbelief, looking at him smiling in the driver's seat.

"Is that how little you thought of me? That I won't be able to do this by myself?" He said in an accusing tone. "Because you are so damn right, Angel! I asked for help from my sisters, but I did the rest of the preparations."

I gazed at him adoringly. "I love you so much. I don't know how am I able to thank you enough,"

"I love you, too. Now, let's get the picnic set up so we can eat and at the end, I have to serenade you with a song that I wrote for you."

~~~
"...then I got close enough to him to have a whiff of his perfume and smelled so good--- are you even listening to me?"
I snapped out of my trance. "Huh? What?"
Tracey blinked twice before snapping her fingers in front of my face. "You've been so distracted these past few days. What has got your head up in the clouds?"
I shook my head, dismissing the other random thoughts that kept appearing in my mind. "I'm thinking about the bake sale this coming Thursday." I gave her a tight smile.
"Okay, if you say so," She looked like she didn't believe me, but decided not to push it. "Well, I need to find bags of lemons for my sugar lemon cookies. Meet me at the counter 6 in a half an hour."
We were at the grocery today, shopping for ingredients. Tracey and I both met up here this morning right before we first got some coffee.
"Sure. I still need to find sprinkles for my brownie popsicles, too." I said.
A couple days ago, I finally found the best recipe to make for the bake sale which was brownie popsicles. It's basically a brownie on a stick and designed to look like a popsicle dipped in chocolate and designed with sprinkles. I have all the materials needed for the cute packaging. Now, I just have to make them.
Examining the whole aisle section displaying a wide variety of sprinkles, I couldn't decide on which one I should buy. They all look so pretty and colorful.
I was so busy looking at the sprinkles that I totally forgot where I was going and hit another person's cart.
"I'm sorry..." I was about to apologize, but my voice trailed off as I saw the person standing in front of me.
It's been so long since we last saw each other.
"Angel?"
