The Deal

Later they were getting ready to go to bed, she slid down her skirt and watched as he removed his shirt as she undid the buttons on her blouse. Just looking at his muscles rippling with each movement he made got her all hot and bothered. Going over she stands in front of him, placing her hands on his chest she leaned in to kiss his chest.

He tilted his head back and closed his eyes when she ran her tongue and lips over his chest. The mere touch of her mouth on his skin lit the fire within him, his cock hardened and a small moan came out from deep down in his throat. His hand fisted in her hair and he lifted her face up so he could look into her eyes. "Are you sure about this, is it not too soon?"

"I'm sure, make love to me."

He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist as she pulled her shirt down over her shoulders, letting it drop to the floor. He laid her down, getting on to the bed he lowered his lips onto hers, his kiss deepened as his desire grew. He managed to undo her bra and remove it, then his hand moved down her body to between her legs. He took his time as he rubbed his hand over her wet pussy and before putting his finger inside her he stopped to look at her. "I'm going to put a finger inside you, are you alright with that or should I stop?"

"Do it," she said, moaning as she pushed up on his hand.

He slowly put his finger inside her, stroking as he sucked on her neck. "Damn, you taste and feel so sweet. I've missed touching you and being inside you." He left soft little kisses down her breasts, stomach and reaching her panties pulled them down, taking them off so that she was completely naked. He then put his head between her legs, his lips blew a hot steamy breath over her sex, leaving her gasping, then his tongue was on her, lapping at her, drawing her into his mouth and sucking at her sex. He heard her screams and felt her body quiver, her fingers entwining in his hair.

Before stopping he made sure she had multiple orgasms, her chest was heaving, her breathing heavy and sweat coated her body. Pleased at making her come several times he climbed on top, putting himself inside her. What turned him on the most was the soft purr-like noises she would make whenever he kissed her neck. Wanting to see her face he lifted himself up on his hands, watching her face as he pounded into her, going faster. But when he felt his cock pulsing he knew he was close to coming so closing his eyes he let go, coming fast. He rested his body on top of hers, waiting for his breathing to go back to normal. Knowing he must be getting heavy he rolled off and onto his side, taking her hand and holding it.

Reaching her free hand down she pulled up the blanket to cover them. "Oh wow, that was amazing. You have to admit that being married to each other does have some great benefits for both of us."

"You're right, it'll be great while it lasts. I will miss the sex once we get divorced and go our separate ways," he said, lifting her hand to his lips kissed it. "You really do know how to please a man."

: Standing in front of the mirror she checked her face, seeing if the bruises were hidden under the makeup she applied. When Austin came from the bathroom she went over to him.

"Look at my face, can you see any bruises?"

"It's barely noticeable," he said, touching her cheek. "Are you sure you're ready to go back to work? You could take more time off."

"I can't hide forever, besides, Mr. Ritter should have the paper for the sale of the company ready for me to sign and I need to have my bank ready to deposit the funds into his account. If you want to come by my office later we could have lunch sent in."

"I do have lots to do but I will try and make it," he said, giving her a kiss. "I have to go now but be careful out there."

"I will," she answered and they both walked out to their cars together.

When Austin got to his office Harry was waiting for him, his coffee already on his desk. "How did things go while I was away?" he asked, sitting down.

"It was quiet Austin. So how is Blair?"

"Much better now thanks. I think the man that raped Miss Hill is the same man that attacked Blair."

"What makes you think that?"

"I'm not sure, maybe that with both women he wore a ski mask and said, I know you want it to both of them. Get me Miss Hill's address and phone number."

"What for?"

"I'm going to go and talk with her, see if there's anything else she can tell me."

"Damn Austin, do you think she's going to talk to you after what happened in the courtroom during the trial, she's not happy with you."

"I keep thinking there's something more she can tell me about the man that raped her. Something that she might have forgotten that wasn't mentioned in court. I have this gut feeling he's the same man."

"Alright, I'll get her address but I think you're crazy."

Later that morning he arranged to meet Miss Hill in the coffee shop across from her home. Sitting down he ordered coffee for both of them.

"What is it you want from me Mr. Cooke, have you not already ruined my life by getting Ryan off on the charges?"

"Again Miss Hill I'm sorry for what happened to you, but it was the jury that decided he was innocent, there just wasn't enough proof. My wife was attacked and I believe it was the same man that attacked you."

Her eyes dull and lifeless looked into his. "Did he rape her?"

"He tried but she was able to fight him off. He did beat her up as he did to you. I need to know if there's anything about that night and the man that you might now remember. Anything, like his scent, his voice, anything."

She leaned over the table to stare into his eyes. "I don't know who attacked your wife but I know Ryan was the one who raped me. Mr. Cooke, I had an affair with him for over a year. I know his scent, what his breath smells like and I know what it feels like having him inside me. I'm telling you it was Ryan. The words he spoke, I know you want it, he said it in a whisper. I suggest you get him to say those words when she's around, maybe she'll recognize the voice. Tell me, did she get a look at the man's fingers? Ryan's middle fingernail on his right hand had a split up it and looks like it has two halves." She gets up to leave but he grabbed her hand.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you and if Ryan was guilty I'll find out and bring him to justice."

She sat back down. "Are you saying you believe me?"

"After he was released and set free I started getting this weird vibe about him, especially after he met my wife. It was the way he looked at her, something was off."

"Tell me, Mr. Cooke, did your wife's attacker use a weapon to scare her?"

"Yes, she saw a pocket knife in his hand."

"Ryan owns one, it has a pearl handle, his father gave it to him before he passed away. Did she describe it?"

"No, that wasn't mentioned, all she said was a pocket knife."

"Ask her, now I must get to work."

"Miss Hill, I promise if Ryan is the one you will get justice for what he did to you, I promise you that."

"It was him, Mr. Cooke, goodbye."

Austin checked his watch and saw it was close to lunchtime. He hurried out and drove to her office just as everyone was leaving for lunch. "Sorry I'm late," he said, giving her a smile he walked over to her.

"No, you're just in time. Do you want to go to the diner across the street or just order in?"

"Let's go to the diner," he said, reaching to take her hand.

Once there he ordered for the both of them.

"Blair, I wanted to ask you about the night you were attacked."

"Must we talk about it? I just want to forget it ever happened."

"I really need to ask you some questions. Did you notice anything about his fingernails? Anything unusual about them?"

"His fingernails, no. I was fighting to get him off me, I didn't have time to look at them. Why are you asking me this?"

"Trust me, it's important. What about the knife, can you tell me what the handle looked like?"

"Austin, why are you interrogating me? You're treating me like I'm on the witness stand. Do you know who attacked me?"

"I'm not sure but I have my suspicions. Please, the knife, did you notice if the handle was plain or was there something special about it, something that stands out?"

Rubbing her temple she tried to think back to that night. She had a flashback to when he held up the knife, close to her face and she suddenly remembered something. She looks at him. "Yes, it was a pearl, the handle was a pearl, I remember it now. Is that important? I mean I'm sure lots of people have the same one."

"Maybe." His head was pounding, he was starting to believe it was Ryan and there was only one way to find out for sure. She had hit him over the head with a vase and he bled, so he would have a cut on his forehead. Now he would have to go and see him in person and if he did have a cut then he would have him arrested.

"Austin, if you know who attacked me then tell me who, I have a right to know."

"I'm not sure but I think maybe it was Ryan Platt, the man you met at the party we went to. I'm going to go see him. The other woman he attacked said he owned a pearl-handled knife, said he whispered the same thing to her as he did to you. It's all starting to add up and if he has a cut then I'll call the cops and he'll pay for what he did."

"Is he the one you defended in court?"

He looked at her, his eyes filled with regret, hating himself for defending a rapist and vowed he'd find the truth. "Yes, I'm afraid so. When we're done with lunch I'll take you back to your office and then I'll go see Mr. Platt."

"Austin no, he could be dangerous and you might get hurt. You can't go alone, at least call your friend that's on the force and take him with you."

He smiled at her, touched that she was worried about him. "It's sweet that you care about my safety."

"Of course I care about you, you are my husband," she said, turning her head away. She didn't want him to see how much she cared, and him being a lawyer can see the truth when he looks into someone's eyes.

When they were finished lunch he walked her to her office, giving her a quick kiss he went to see his buddy at the police station. First, they would go over to Ryan's house and talk to his wife, she would tell them if her husband was home the day of Blair's attack and he wanted to find out if he owned a pearl pocket knife. Then they would go visit him at his place of work, he was sure if there were enough evidence the cops would search his home and office. If they got lucky they might even find the ski mask.
