It was finally the night of the dance. I've been so nervous all day.

It took me and Kayla all day to get ready.

"We look hot!" Kayla gives me a wink

"This is going to be a night we won't forget!" I smile excited

We walk downstairs to the living room where Caleb and josh are sitting on the couch.

"Hello boy" Kayla greets them

I see Caleb look Kayla up and down for a quick second before he turns his head.

I look at Josh who's already looking at me.

"You look great" he smiles at me

"Thanks" I know I'm blushing

"Hey will you take me to the dance" Kayla asks Caleb

"Why can't your date take you?" he glares

"Because I'm meeting him there" she tells him

"Why can't you just ride with them" Caleb point at me and josh

Kayla rolls her eyes "Caleb" she crosses her arms and glares

"Fine get in the car" Caleb say grabbing his keys

Kayla smirks at Caleb and waves goodbye to us.

"You ready to go?" Josh ask me, I nod

We climb in the car and head to the dance.

"You sure are quiet" Josh smirks at me from the driver seat

"Sorry" I laugh "I'm just nervous" I admit

"About what?"

"I've never been to a dance" I mutter

"Hey it will be fine Caleb, Kayla are going to be there" he smiles "and me" he gives me a wink

I smile.

We pull up at the school.

"Ready?" He asks me

I take a deep breath "ready"
