As soon as I walk back into the house I don't even have time to utter a word before Kayla throws her arms around me.

"I'm so proud of you and you didn't kill anyone" she says

"Thank you" I tell her laughing "where is everyone else?"

"They went home" she says "come on I bought us some ice cream and I put in magic mike" she says as if that will solve every problem which it will.

We change into our pjs and dig into our ice cream while watching Magic mike.

"So are you going to tell me how it went or not" she says to me

"It was amazing we had a blast and me and Tiffany really connected I think we are best friends now" I say as I take another bite of ice cream

"Okay you told me the parallel universe version now what is the real story"

"It was horrible I couldn't say anything without Tiffany wanting to bite my head off and the whole time she was all over Josh and smirking at me telling me she won" I roll my eyes

"Atleast you did it and got it over with" she says trying to see the bright side

"So what were you doing while I was gone?" I ask

"O um Caleb took me to the store to get ice cream" she mumbles

"Don't" she points at me

"If I say something promise you won't get upset" I say all of a sudden

"Okay " she nods

"Sometimes I wish I'd never came back" I say as I look at my ice cream

"I'm sorry" she says sadly

"But sometimes I wish I'd never left" I shrug

" sometimes I wonder why you came back it seemed like you had the perfect life up there" she says

"It was in a way but I knew it couldn't last forever and I was tired of pretending I was someone else" I sigh
