We ended up pulling off onto a side road behind the other car that had the 3 other boys in it. We were pretty much in the middle of the woods and we all ended up getting distracted and talking for a while. Cody's nose stopped bleeding and he was back to his annoying self. Sam was in a happy mood as usual and all the boys were wearing their swim trunks with a tee shirt.
"Would anybody care to explain what we're doing here now?" I asked when I finally remembered that I still had no clue why we were here.
"You'll see." Zack said again while trying to hold back his laughter as I glared at him.
"We are literally here, why won't you just tell me what we're doing?" I asked again.
"Well technically we're not there quite yet." Sam piped in.
"Then what are we waiting for?" I threw my hands up in the air exasperated.
"Nothing really" Cody added too.
"Well, you heard the girl, let's go!" Sam said as he picked up his bag.
I was already sweating from the heat and if we weren't in the shade, I probably would have already been sun burnt. Everyone else picked up their bags including me and we all started walking down a trail. Eric was in the front and Sammy and Kyle were in the middle while Zack and I fell to the back. Kyle turned around and started walking backwards so he could talk and look at me.
"Hey Zoe, you should walk in the front." he said with a smirk.
"Why? So you can stare at her ass the entire time?" Zack shot back. I let out a small laugh.
"Yup." Kyle responded with a goofy grin. Zack sighed and laughed a little with me.
"Get a life bro." Zack said shaking his head.
Kyle shrugged and went to say something else but tripped on a root that was sticking out in the pathway and stumbled back. He caught himself from falling but started walking forwards after taking one last glance back at us with a smile. Zack chuckled at him and shook his head once again
"Sorry about them, I swear some days they make bets to see who can mess with people the most." He said as he stepped over a fallen tree and held his hand out to help me over.
I smiled at him before replying. "It's fine, I like being around them, they're entertaining." he smiled at me again.
"Yeah, that they definitely are."
After walking another 10 minutes of stepping over rocks and tree branches, we came out into a large clearing. I gasped as I saw how beautiful everything looked. There was a medium sized lake stretching out across the huge open area. I looked over to see Zack standing there with a huge grin on his face looking at me waiting for a reaction. a huge smile spread cross my face as I looked back at the shimmering water.
"It looks amazing." I said as the rest of the boys took off racing to the sandy area around the lake.
"Come on, I'll race you." Zack said as we both grinned at each other and took off. I ran as fast as I could and made it to the sand a few seconds after Zack even though I knew he wasn't running his fastest. The boys were already flinging their bags down and kicking their shoes off. Zack and I did the same. The warm sand seeped through my toes as I sank down slightly.

"We'll come here in the summer quite a bit, we've been coming for a few years now." Kyle said as he slipped off his shirt to reveal a nice six pack and some tanned skin.
"It's amazing here." I said looking up to the sky where a few birds were flying around and chirping at each other.
"You coming?" Zack asked as he pulled off his tee shirt too. I tried my hardest not to look down but even without looking, I felt my face heat up slightly. I had seen him shirtless before and let me just say, that boy was carved by the gods.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a second." I said as Zack shrugged and said a quick okay before running to catch up to Kyle who was just about to the water's edge. I laughed as Zack and Kyle got into a slight wrestling match as they tried to get the other person into the water. I closed my eyes and felt the warm breeze on my skin. It was so peaceful here. The only thing you could hear was the water, the wind, some wildlife and the faint voices of the boys laughing and messing around in the water.
I smiled as I opened my eyes again and glanced over to the water to see all 5 of the boys were in the water splashing each other. I sighed and shimmied out of my shorts. I heard a wolf whistle coming from one of the guys, but I couldn't tell which one. I rolled my eyes even though they couldn't see that. If they wanted a show then I would give them a show. I crossed my arms and grabbed the bottom of my tank top before pulling it off and tossing it to the side. I heard hoots and hollers come from the water as I looked up to see them all standing cheering with their hands up. I laughed and started to walk over to the water.
"Damn girl" Kyle said as he looked me up and down. I just flipped him the bird right before Zack grabbed his shoulders and plunged him under water while he wasn't expecting it. I laughed as I put my feet in the water and let it wash up to my ankles. It was pretty cold but not completely unbearable. Zack walked over to me with a smirk. "Hey pretty lady, care to join me?" he asked holding his hand out. I laughed and grabbed it and let him walk in with me. "Why does Zack always get the hot girls?" Cody asked with a huff.
"Because I'm a hot guy." Zack responded with.
"Here, let me cool your ego down." I said as I pushed his shoulder back making him stumble and almost fall completely back into the water.
"Oh, you wanna play that game now do you." Zack said with an evil grin that made my eyes go wide. I tried to run back out of the water, but I was already about hip deep. He grabbed my shoulders and pulled me back to him. I squealed and struggled trying to get away but he was already pulling me down to the water. I sucked in a deep breath before he plunged me completely under.
He let go once I was fully submerged and I came up gasping as I tried to push my wet hair out of my face. Zack and the guys were all standing around laughing at me as I fully stood up. Zack leaned over and was holding his stomach laughing at me. I huffed and went forward while he wasn't paying attention and shoved his shoulder with enough force to send him into the water. The guys cracked up as Zack shot back up with a surprised look on his face. I just giggled a little at his wide eyes and parted lips.

"Damn, I can see why he always calls you kitten now." Eric spoke up with a laugh. I shook my head and we all continued to mess with each other in the water for about 10 minutes before Eric had the smart idea to put sunscreen on before we all burnt up. We all made our way back to our stuff and dried off with our towels. I grabbed the sunscreen out of my bag and Cole grabbed his out too. Kyle laid his towel out and sat down on it waiting for the sunscreen to be passed to him.
Zack held out his hand and I squirted out a blob into his palm before he started rubbing it all over his arms and torso. I got my own and started to smear the liquid over my torso, arms and legs. I saw Zack struggling to reach his back and smirked to myself.
"Need some help?" I asked as Cole passed his sunscreen to Sammy.
"Well I mean if you're offering then I definitely won't turn you down." Zack said with a smirk of his own as I motioned for him to turn around. He complied and spun around so his back was facing me as I squirted some more sunscreen into my hand. I placed my hand on his back and he arched it hissing out from the cold. I laughed and started to rub it in, my hand gliding over his muscles that flexed as he ran his hand through his hair to push it out of his face. I finished rubbing it all in right as Kyle pipped up from his seat on his towel.
"Can I have some help with my back too?" he asked with raised eyebrows.
I smirked at Zack and said "Sure, lay down."
Zack looked confused as Kyle said "okay" and rolled over on to his stomach.
Zack was about to protest before I put my finger to my mouth and walked over to Kyle while motioning Cody to follow. I kneeled next to Kyle and Cody kneeled on the other side of him.
"It's gonna be cold, just warning you." I said as I grabbed Coles wrist and squirted the sunscreen into his hand. He smirked and held in a laugh as he realized what I was doing.
"No pain no gain babe." Kyle said as I motioned for Cole to start putting the sunscreen on Kyle. he put his hand down and started to rub it on Kyles back as Zack walked up beside me and put a hand over his mouth to stop him from laughing.
"You've got some magic hands there." Kyle said with his eyes still closed. I almost completely lost it there but managed to keep quiet. Cole rubbed the last of the sunscreen in as I quietly stood up.
"Okay, all done." I said with a grin.
Kyle replied "Thanks babe." and opened his eyes.
"You're welcome." Cody's voice rung out as Kyle jumped away and everyone cracked up. Kyle's eyes were wide and his face turned red as he realized what had happened. he shook his head as his face calmed down and everyone's laughter started to calm.
"How could you do me so dirty Zoe." he said standing up. I shrugged as he turned to Cole.
''Magic hands huh?" Cole asked before he started dying of laughter again.
"I am going to kill you." Kyle said as he lunged for Cole and just like that, they were back to their usual selves, wrestling and trying to murder each other.
"Good one" Zack said as he grinned and watched the two tackle each other into the sand.
"Do you want me to get your back?" Zack asked and popped open the sunscreen again.
"Sure." I said and turned around and pulled my hair over my one shoulder. I waited for a second but instead of feeling the cold sunscreen touch my back, I felt finger tips slide over where I knew the biggest scar on my back was. I tensed and spun around to look at him with wide eyes.
"What happened? Why do you have so many scars?" he asked with a worried look on his face.
"Sorry, I'll do it." I mumbled as I tried to grab the sunscreen from his hand but he pulled it away before I could get a hold of it.
"No, I'll do it, but where did you get them?" he asked again. I sighed before answering him.
"I was a very energetic and clumsy kid, I was always getting myself scraped up." his moth formed an O in understanding before his face scrunched up again.
"But what about the fresh ones?" he asked curiously.
"When I fell down the stairs some glass broke and cut me a little." I said not completely lying.
"Why didn't you tell me? I could have helped you with them." he said worriedly.
"It was fine, I didn't need any help." I said with a small smile.
"Hurry up guys!" Sammy yelled over from the edge of the water with something in his hands.
"Oh, if you think they're entertaining usually, just wait for this. Here, let me do your back so I can show you." Zack said with a grin. I nodded and turned around again so he could rub the sunscreen into my skin.
His hand glided along my skin and within a minute, we were running back over to the rest of the guys laughing while they were setting up for a slightly concerning looking 'game'.
