has been living with us for just two weeks but that two weeks has been hell for me, she frustrates the hell out of me.

I'm in the kitchen doing the dishes when Cassie walks in furiously, she is practically boiling with anger and there is steam coming out from her ears. I am about to ask her what is going on when she grabs a handful of my hair and starts dragging me out of the kitchen.

"C-Cassie.. stop, you hurting me."

"If you don't keep your mouth shut right now I'll keep it shut for you." Cassie snarls and drags me to the sitting room. "I kept my laptop here five minutes ago to pick up something from my room, I came back and I couldn't find my laptop."

"I didn't take your laptop Cassie, I was in the kitchen all this while." Tears roll down my cheek when it dawns on me that Cassie is accusing me of theft.

"That laptop costs hundreds of dollars and I know you can never make that kind of money in your lifetime and even if you sell yourself, I don't think you worth a hundred dollars." She says with an evil smirk on her face.

I gasp loudly and tears roll down my cheeks even more, how can a human being say such cruel words to a fellow human being?

"That laptop is worth more than all of your generations combined together." She continues and I cry harder. "Now tell me where you kept that laptop before I really descend on you and tell everyone that you're a thief. That you are a gold-digging thief!" She screams at me.

I didn't utter a word, I feel my chest constrict painfully, it feels as if I'm suffocating and it also feels as if the world is closing up on me.

Cassie slaps me hard, the effect of the slap made me bite my lower lip so hard. She drags me around by my hair and yells at me to tell her where her laptop is.

Ashley walks down the stairs at that moment with a laptop in her hand, her eyes scanning everywhere before her eyes landed on me. "What the hell is all this noise all about?" She asks suspiciously.

"Oh, my laptop," Cassie says in relief as she pushes me away and takes it from her. "Did you find it in Sasha's room?"

"No, I found it here in the sitting room and I was just playing a game on it," Ashley says. "Did you accuse Sasha of stealing it?"

"Yes, I thought she was the one," Cassie says nonchalantly.

"Sasha may be dumb and annoying sometimes but she never steals."

"Are you trying to defend her?" Cassie asks in surprise.

"Me? N-no. I-it's just that you didn't have to accuse her..." Ash trails off. "Never mind." She says quietly, it's almost a whisper, and walks away.

"What's wrong with her today?" Cassie scoffs at her retreating back. "You can go back to what you're doing, Sasha." Cassie waves her hand at me in dismissal.

I cry to myself while walking back to the kitchen. Why does she have to make me cry all the time? Even Ash my number one tormentor isn't as mean as this.

It is in the middle of the night, I haven't slept all night, I have been preparing for a test we are having on Monday and I also have to finish my assignments. After reading and finishing my assignments, I pack my books inside my bag and prepare to sleep. If I sleep too late, I may not get up early to make breakfast in the morning.

I'm about to lay on my bed when I noticed that I have been feeling thirsty for a while now so I walk out of my room to get water from the kitchen.

As I'm walking down the stairs, I hear some sounds coming from the living room, it sounds like... a moan? I gasp in utter shock when I spot Cassie and Jace kissing in the sitting room. I don't know when Jace came back but I'm sure it is not quite long he came back home.

Why do I feel so heartbroken? Because I like him, I like Jace even though I have been lying to myself that I do not like him. Seeing them kissing makes me feel like my heart is being ripped out of my chest slowly. I see them move from just kissing to making out on the couch as Cassie straddles him while he just sits there doing nothing to resist her. Didn't he tell me that he doesn't like her? Then do the kisses we both shared mean nothing to him?

A strangled sob escapes my lips as I run back to my room already forgetting what I came to do downstairs.

Jace just won a huge contract for the company and Alex, the new friend he made in the company insisted that it is an achievement that calls for a celebration so they both went to a nightclub to celebrate.

Alex started a game that requires the loser to have a shot of tequila and at the end of the game, Jace ended up getting drunk. Alex drove him home since he couldn't drive himself in that condition.

Jace was walking to his room when he collapsed on the couch, Cassie has been waiting for him so she saw someone drop him off through the window of her room. She rushed to the sitting room and met him passed out on the couch.

"Jace, how did you get this drunk?" She helps him sit instead of lying down.

"None of your business, Cassie," Jace says harshly and tries to stand from the couch but he feels dizzy so he falls back to the couch.

"Jace, why are you treating me like this? Even in your drunk state you..."

"I don't have time for his Cassie can you help me into my room?"

"Can't you see that I love you?" Cassie grabs his face in her hand and tries to kiss her but he pushes her away. She tries again and was able to kiss him eventually, she straddles him and deepens the kiss.

A few minutes Jace pushes her away at stares at her in irritation. "D-don't you ever do that again." He slurs as a

made his way to his room.
