《Lovely Villainess》Chapter 2

"Miss, it's time to wake up now."
A soft voice called, and shook me lightly.
Even though I was asleep, I woke up from the slightest sound. I was on edge the entire night and only slept lightly.
I was trying to understand my situation and a way out, in turn that kept me up all night. I kept wanting it to be a dream and kept trying to wake up, in the end I succumbed to sleep.
"Miss?"
The cautious and slightly afraid voice called out to me.
'Is...is she calling me?"
I looked around the room for anyone else, yet there only seemed to be me.
The maid seemed to be on edge at any movements that I made, like prey facing a preditor. It was then I remembered who I was.....Alina.
Alina was a short tempered and violent villainess, she would throw thing at her maids and blame them for very trivial things. Her maids were frequently changing due to that very temper of hers, as well as not having a head maid.
No one would apply for the position of head maid due to her terrible temper. I looked at the maid, she flinched at my gaze that was inspecting her.
'Ah....she must be scared of me. Well, I can't say I blame her. Alina did have a nasty temper.'
"Remind me what your name was again?"
"Huh?!?"
She seemed shocked that I asked that question.
"My name is Chrysta, miss."
"You have a lovely name...uh, prepare a bath. I don't wish to have breakfast."
The maid was left dumbfounded at my compliment, making her unable to respond to my request.
"T,thank you, miss. I will prepare it right away."
"Also bring me a mirror."

"Yes, miss."
I had yet to take a look at myself through a mirror, but from what I could see was my thin and delicate pale arms and legs. Alina was known for her beauty, she took after her mother after all.
"Here, miss."
The maid handed me a mirror for me to look at myself. I've read Lovely heroine over twenty times and read about Alina's beauty but I couldn't help but be left speechless.
Her pale porcelain skin, long beautiful white hair, pink lips like petals, and ruby red eyes. She looked exactly like her mother except for her red eyes which she inherited from her father.
"Your bath is prepared for you, miss."
"Yes, thank you."
The maid seemed shocked and flustered by the simple thank you.
'Just how bad did she treat you?'
I sighed and shook my head internally, before leaving to take a bath. I came back to my room quickly after finishing my bath.
"Chrysta, when the social debut party?"
I asked trying to find the timeline in the book.
"It is in six months, miss."
The maid answered nervously hoping not to provoke me. It seemed Alina was easy to anger.
"Yes, thank you."
'I need to start planning for my survival." I had no plans to die a dogs death... twice.
I soon started to write out the major events in a time line that affected Alina, leading to her death.
