《Lovely Villainess》Chapter 1

The complicated and unbelievably handsome males leads being swayed by the heroine softening their hearts made me fall in love with the novel.
I am a hopeless romantic, so the book appealed to me along with the thrilling story line.
I have always been picky about the books I read, but this book was my favorite of all time. It was a great novel, and it was also great that the author was a talented writer.
The plot was cleche, with a Mary sue protagonist, however I had always felt drawn to it. No Matter how much I read it I never got enough of it. Like a show series that you could binge any time.
The book started with the heroine, Thea Godiva, attending the social debut where she gathers all kinds of attention due to her beauty, but is also ridiculed by the jealous women.
Thea Godiva was the daughter of the high priest of the empire's church. She had God's blessing to heal with prayer.
She was also ostracized due to the tension between the church and the royals fighting for power. However, she, by chance, met the crowned prince by going to the garden to escape the nobles.
From then on she met the other male leads, collecting a bunch of fish for her pond. She soon has to face opposing forces against her and the crowned prince.
They don't just have to deal with jealous rivals, they also have to deal with war and betrayals.
I loved the heroine, but I also felt pity for the villainess Alina. I'm not excusing her for her bad deeds, but I can understand her anger and frustration.
I found how the crowned prince tossed the villainess away after meeting Thea very pitiful.
I could understand how she didn't like Thea, but she should've stopped liking the prince instead of taking her anger out on Thea.

In the end Alina tried to poison her which was the last straw with the crowned prince.
Nevertheless I enjoyed the book.
"I have to hurry home, so I can read my book and relax." I clutched my bag as I hurried down the side walk.
You might say I'm obsessed because of taking the book with me everywhere, I wouldn't refute you. However, in my defense there are people who take their phone into the shower with them.
I say I'm pretty normal.
I ran out to the cross walk so I could hurry home.
"WATCH OUT!" I don't what took over me, I was never the kindest person since I had to fend for myself my whole life.
I was never a righteous person, having learned I would receive nothing in turn for my kindness.
However I was a better person than I thought I was, since I was now going to push another person out of the way for my shallow sense of morality.
I screamed towards the old man walking on the cross walk about to get hit by a truck.
Thud-!
Before I knew it I was jumping to push the old man out of the way, but in doing that I got hit.
'I'm cold... I don't want to die here...'
The last thing I remember is laying on the ground and fading into darkness.
And when I opened my eyes, I awoke to a chilling pressure.
"Alina Eirlys."
Said the man with a disgusted and annoyed tone and eye that seemed to shoot daggers.
"You will lose your allowance for the next two months, and your probation will be extended by two months."
I was the villainess in my favorite novel and was the one who I pitied so much.
