A couple of weeks later we were starting the shamrocks and pots of gold. I was working on all different flavors of shamrocks while Beau and Issac were making the pots of gold and Hailey was making the rainbows.

I was busy putting the filling in my shamrocks when Elena walked back with a big container of flowers. "These are for you Vaylin."

"Oh wow, those are beautiful." I smile.

"We already know who they are from." She laughs.

"What's your favorite flower, Elena?"

"Oh, that would be daffodils." She smiled.

I looked back at Issac and he blushed.

I took off my gloves and took the flowers from Elena and went into my office. I sit them down and took a picture of them and then smelled them.

I plucked the card out of the flowers.

You couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. I pick up my phone and call him.

☎️ Oh, Theo I got the flowers and you are the sweetest.

☎️ Only for you Vaylin. I cant wait to see you this evening.

☎️ I'm nervous to have dinner with your parents. I'm going to bring chocolate.

☎️ They already love you so you don't have to try hard.

☎️ Are you coming to pick me up?

☎️ Yeah, I will be there in less than an hour.

I put my phone in my back pocket and walked back out to check on the shamrocks I made to take with me.

I also made some special chocolate for each that I know they like. I gather them all up and I walk back to where Issac was.

"You heard Elena right? She likes daffodils so make your move chicken! She likes you too."

"Are you sure? I don't want to make things weird here."

"Shoot your shot Issac I wouldn't lead you wrong but I'm leaving I'm having dinner with the Kingston's tonight."

"Good luck boss!"

"Good luck to you as well and go buy the flowers!"

When I walked out front Theo was walking in and I walked over to him with my containers.

"Wow, they are going to love you even more sweetness."

"I aim to please." I smile up at him and he leans down and kisses my lips.

"Let's get out of here."

"Goodnight Elena!"

"Nite Vaylin and Theo!"

He helped me up in the truck and we headed off to the mansion and I was nervous.

When we pulled up he squeezed my hand and came around and opened the door for me. As soon as we walked inside I was shocked at how beautiful it was.

"Wow, Theo this is beautiful."

"Thanks, mom loves to decorate."

"Oh, guys I'm so glad that you are here!" Kalene smiled walking toward us.

"Kalene this is gorgeous."

"Thank you! I love to decorate. You guys come into the dining room Beth and Donnie are already in there."

"Mom these need to go in the fridge."

"Ok go on in the dining room Theodore I had dinner catered."

He turned and looked at me. "I knew she wouldn't cook."

"Hush I'm sure it's delicious."

We walked into the dining room and it was just as fancy as everywhere else I've seen.

"Hey, you two!" Beth smiled.

I walked around and sit beside Beth and she squeezed my hand. I like her already even though she cock blocks.

Theo sit down beside me and across from his dad.

"Dad Vaylin brought candy."

"Oh, I like the sound of that."

These people came walking into the dining room I didn't recognize carrying fancy containers of food and opening them up.

I looked over at Theo and he squeezed my leg. "Mom thinks catering needs to be served as well."

Kalene walked back and sit down across from me and we had food that I have never tried before.

"We have duck and squash and other things. I hope you will try it Vaylin."

"I will try anything once." I smiled.

We passed plates around but there was steak and mashed potatoes as well but I tried the other items and they were good.

After dinner, Theo went and got the container and handed it to me.

"So I made some new things but I made each of you your own little box of what I know you like."

"Oh, Vaylin thank you so much!" Beth said leaning over giving me a side hug.

"That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." Kalene smiled.

"Well, you know what I like Vaylin thank you so much," Donnie said.

I pulled out another box and put it in front of Theo. "I didn't forget you."

He opened it and smiled. "You know the way to my heart sweetness. Share this with me?"

He put the heart up to my lips and I took a bite before he did.

A little later I helped Beth gather up the silverware and took it to the kitchen.

"Mom usually pays someone to clean up so she will be shocked we did this. Honestly, I don't even know how to use the dishwasher."

"Oh, Beth you are terrible." I laughed.

She was funny and I liked her. I think her Ali and I need a girl's night.

Before we left I invited her over one night and we exchanged numbers.

On the way back to the shop Theo grabbed my hand. "Thank you for tonight. You are the best."

"I love your sister she is funny and I really did like the food even though your mom didn't cook it."

"Maybe one day I can invite them over to my house and they can taste your home cooking."

"Oh, Theo I would love that."

We pulled up at the shop and it was after 9 pm so it was closed and he followed me back to the house.

We had a glass of wine together and watched a little tv.
