I can't believe I did that in the elevator to Theo but god he's a good kisser.

I make it back to work smiling and when I walked in Elena and Hailey were standing at the counter.

"You look really happy."

"I am happy. Thanks, guys!"

I begin to walk to my office and they followed. "Well don't leave us hanging why are you happy?"

"Theo asked me out on a date."

"Oh, that's fantastic!" Hailey happily clapped.

I went back to check on the white chocolate-covered green cherries for Donnie and decided I would make more.

Issac walked back to where I was and asked what I was doing.

"I'm making Donnie Kingston's white chocolate-covered green cherries."

"Can I help?"

"Sure grab the other ingredients for me. I need the cherries and the filling."

"Did he special order these?"

"Yeah, he asked Theo to ask if I had any. He really likes them and I have about two dozen but I wanted to make more."

"Beau is working on the hearts. He's really got the hang of that."

"I'm glad he's working out. Did you order the chocolates and stuff?"

"I did and the invoice is on your desk in your basket."

"Thanks, Issac I appreciate all the help you have given me."

"It's been my pleasure Vaylin I love this job and the opportunity that you have given me and Beau we can never thank you enough."

"Ah shucks, Issac doesn't make me cry." I laugh.

A little while later we got the chocolates done and they had been in the freezer an hour.

I went and worked on invoices and things until someone knocked on my door and I looked up and it was Theo.

"Hey, there sweetness."

"So is that my nickname?"

"I think it's fitting for you." He smiled.

"I made more of the chocolates because I wasn't sure if two dozen was enough for him."

"Oh, he will love that. Let me call and ask him."

"Have a seat I just need to finish up what I was doing." I smiled.

"So he wants them all."

"That's forty-eight of them." I laughed.

I stood up and he followed me back to the freezer and we pulled the sheets out and put them in the slots in the boxes.

"It doesn't have to be all pretty and perfect for my dad."

"Oh yes, it does. It has to be in the slots and boxed property here at Candy Rush."

"Yes ma'am. So umm when do you want to go out on a date?"

"Whenever you want to."

"What's better for you sweetness?"

"Umm the weekends are hectic unless we go late."

"It doesn't make a difference to me I just want to take you out."

"If you want to do it soon then something for 8 pm or later."

"I can do that. I just want to take you out and have a nice dinner with you."

He smiles over at me and without thinking I lean in for a kiss.

He kisses me and starts to pull me closer when Elena interrupts us.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"It's ok. What's up Elena?"

"There is someone out here asking for a certain kind of chocolate and I thought maybe you could answer that."

"I will be right there Elena. I will be right back Theo."

"I will take these chocolates and wait in your office."

I walked out front and talked to the customer and told them I could get it made just to give me a few days.

I walked back to my office and shut the door and when I turned around Theo was standing in front of me.

"I should probably take these to my dad."

"Yeah, I'm sure he wants them." I smile.

"Can I call you later?"

"Of course, you can." I smile biting my bottom lip.

He pulls me into his arms and kisses me a few times. "You know this is something I could get used to."

I smile at him and kiss him again. "Me too," I said across his lips.

I walked Theo out and he paid for his dad's chocolate and I watched him leave.

"Oh, you have it bad." Elena laughed.

"Hush you! I'm headed home so that I can get in here early to make what that customer wanted."

"See you tomorrow!" Elena smiled.

I grabbed my stuff and headed home. Once home I found another note on my door.

I pulled it off and walked inside and it looked like someone had cleaned my house.

I found a note on the counter from Ali. "I cleaned up for you because I know you don't have time. Love you! ❤️

I smile and shoot her a text.

I lay the phone and envelope down to go change out of my clothes.

Once changed I make myself some noodles and sit down on the couch to read.

I can't help but smile. I hope they have a Valentine and bring them flowers and chocolate. I will make sure to put that in my next letter.

After I finished my food I loaded up the dishwasher when my phone rang.

☎️ My mom was going to take them from him and he ran through the house with them.

☎️ Oh, that's funny Theo! I wish I could have seen it. I heard your parents live in a mansion.

☎️ I guess you could say that but I grew up there and don't think anything of it but I would love to give you a tour.

☎️ No I have a house and would love for you to see it.
