I lock up and Theo walks me out and when I pull up at home I see an envelope stuck to my door.

I grab it off the door and head inside and put my stuff down and pour myself a glass of wine and open the envelope.

I can't help but smile. Maybe somehow I have helped this secret admire with their broken heart or at least from thinking so much of Jenna.

I fold it up and put it back in the envelope and put it on the dresser in the bedroom along with my glass of wine so I can change into my PJs.

I skip dinner and just finish my wine and end up in bed. As soon as I lay down I see Theo's smiling face.

Oh, girl what is wrong with you? That guy isn't interested in you go to sleep.

The next morning I wake and shower and get ready for another day of chocolate making.

I grab a pen and write another note.

Dear Secret Admirer,

Eat the chocolate she would want you to and smile while you do it.

I tape it to the door and head to my car. I stop and get an iced coffee and then head to work.

When I walked in Issac and Beau were stirring chocolate and Hailey was in the back putting the heart boxes together and Elena was busy out front.

"Hey, guys!"

"Hey, boss!" Issac smiled.

"We are working on the turtle tracks today."

"Thank you so much."

I walk to my office and place my jacket down and I got to thinking as much as Issac does and sometimes stays late and is always here before me I'm going to promote him to manager and give him a raise.

"Hey, Issac can you come here for a second?"

"Sure boss, what's up?"

"Can you shut the door?"

"Oh, that sounds serious." He said.

"No, it's nothing like that Issac you are my right-hand man. That's why I called you in here. I want you to be the manager of the store and with that, you get a raise."

"Oh wow I don't know what to say but hell yeah!"

"You are always here before me and sometimes you lock up for me so it's only fair. Your next check will show your raise ok?"

"Sounds good thanks Vaylin I don't know what to say."

"Your welcome! Thank you for all of your hard work." I smile.

A little while later while stirring chocolate Elena walks back. "Umm Mr. Kingston is here."

"Oh ok. Be right out."

I take off my gloves expecting to see Theo but it's a man I don't recognize.

"Can I help you?"

"Hi I'm Donnie Kingston and my son has raved about this place and I had to come in and get more chocolate."

"Oh, what can I do for you?"

"I want some of the samples that I got the other day." He smiled.

I can see where Theo gets his good looks.

"Well, Elena picked that candy out for you so she could pick it out again for you."

"Thank you for your help, Ms. Valentine! I am excited to get all of this candy for my employees and wife."

"We are still working on them but they will be ready before Valentine's Day." I smiled.

"Thank you!" He smiled.

I walked over and told Elena what he wanted and she told him she would help.

"Thank you for stopping in Mr. Kingston!"

"The pleasure is all mine." I smile and walk back to my chocolate.

I'm not sure why I was hoping it was Theo but It wasn't.

Around lunchtime, I walked up to the taco truck to get some tasty tacos but I was secretly hoping I would see Theo waiting in line.

I sit down on the bench eating my taco with my face in my phone when someone spoke.

"Oh hey there." I smiled.

"Hey Vaylin what brings you to my side of town?"

"The tacos of course."

"Ahh, I see." He smirked.

"I met your father this morning."

"You did? Where?"

"He came into Candy Rush this morning to get more candy."

"They already ate all of that? Damn." He laughed.

"Apparently so." I giggle.

"May I join you?"

"Sure Theo it's a free park bench." I smile.

"I need to go get me a taco." He said fishing for his wallet.

"Here I have a couple of extras you can have them."

"Are you sure Vaylin?"

"Of course I'm sure! I was just going to take them back to work and sit them on my desk and then throw them away."

"Well, then I will put them to good use." He smiled over at me.

I watched as his lips touched those tacos and I just had to look away. Everywhere I looked people were holding hands and laughing and well I'm always the odd one out.

My phone beeped and I looked down and it was Ali.

I slip my phone back into my pocket and look at Theo as he spoke.

"Got to get back to work soon?"

"I hired a manager today for the store so I'm not in such a hurry he has it all under control."

"Well, I'm sure he was grateful for that." Theo smiles.

"What about you? Have to go back in soon?"

"Probably but I would rather sit out here with you."

"Well I appreciate the company but what does it say about two people who don't want to go back to work?"

"Not lazy just tired and need a break." He laughed straightening out his tie sitting back.

"What's your dad going to say here he comes."

"What where?" He sits up straight looking around.

I double over laughing. "I was just joking but you sure did move fast there Theo."

"Oh, that wasn't cool candy girl."

"Candy girl huh?"

"Well, you look sweet." He smirked.
