I watched her walk away and damn she's one sexy woman and when she laughed it did something to me.

Once she was out of sight I decided to go back into the building.

I worked a couple more hours and then clocked out and went to my truck. I grabbed another piece of paper and decided to write another note and put the candy on the door as well.

I can't bring myself to eat it so I can share it with someone else.

I finish writing it out and I drive by the apartment and don't see a car there so I get out and tape the note and a baggie of the candy to the door.

I jump back in my truck and head home for the night alone.

I walk in and take off my tie and go to my room and take off my monkey suit for the day and put some shorts and a t-shirt on.

I order a pizza and sit down to watch some mindless tv.

I pick up my phone out of curiosity and look up Vaylin on social media and I get lost in her face when my doorbell goes off.

I get up and get my pizza and sit back in front of the tv and eat.

My phone rings

☎️ Hello?

☎️ Hey Mom!

☎️ What's up son?

☎️ Eating some pizza! What are you doing up? It's late for you.

☎️ Oh gees I'm up eating this chocolate! Do you know your father brought more home today?

☎️ Vaylin told me that.

☎️ Who?

☎️ Vaylin Valentine! She owns Candy Rush.

☎️ Oh, you know her?

☎️ I met her recently and she took over not long ago from her dad who retired.

☎️ Well her candy is out of this world I just can't get enough.

☎️ Dad bought more today she told me.

☎️ You talk to her on the phone?

☎️ No I saw her on the bench outside of work she was eating a taco.

☎️ I may need to make a trip to this candy shop. I would love to meet her.

☎️ She's very nice. Just ask for Vaylin.

☎️ Alright! Well, I'm going to finish this piece of candy and go to bed. Come see me over the weekend if you have time.

☎️ I will mom. Goodnight I love you.

I finish off my pizza and put the rest in the fridge and cut everything off and headed to my bedroom.

I'm pretty lonely... Maybe I should get a pet.

I cut the tv on in the bedroom and go brush my teeth and then lay down. I'm wondering what kind of note that apartment person leaves me for in the morning.

I'm not sure if it's a man or woman but I'm leaning toward a woman because of the handwriting and I'm curious what they think of the candy.

The next morning I get up and get dressed for work. First, I go over to the apartment and see if there is a letter for me.

I snatch it off the door and run over to my truck. I pull out and head to work and I will read it then.

I park in my designated spot and open the letter

Dear Secret Admirer,

Thank you so much for the candy! Some of these are my favorites! I know this candy store and the owner.

Eat some for yourself!

I can't help but smile. Well, I guess they know who Vaylin is.

I walk into work with a smile on my face and head into my office.

I set down with all of those contracts and go over them until lunchtime and I can't get out to that taco stand fast enough.

I really hope that I will see Vaylin when I get out there.

I walk fast outside to the taco truck and well I don't see her in line or on the bench and my heart drops.

I order a couple of extra tacos in case she shows up and I sit down on the bench and begin to unwrap my taco when someone sits down beside me.

I look up and smile when I see Vaylin smiling. "Hey there!"

"Hey! I figured you would be out here. I'll be back I'm going to grab some tacos."

"No need Vaylin I got you two." I smiled.

"Well, aren't you sweet? Well, I brought dessert."

"What did you bring?" I ask.

"I will show you after we eat."

I hand her a taco and she eats it fast so I hand her the other one.

Once we finish she pulls out two big hearts out of her pocket.

"I just made these this morning. They go in the center of the big boxes like the ones for your employees but these are raspberry inside."

"That sounds delicious! Thank you for bringing me one."

"I figured you would be out here eating Theo."

"I've been doing this for years that's why I have to work out."

"Oh, that way you can keep your abs?" She laughed.

"Yeah, something like that."

We were finishing up our chocolate when dad walked up. "Son, what are you doing out here eating?"

"I always come out here and eat tacos on the bench and well Vaylin joined me today and brought me a piece of chocolate."

"Well, where's mine?" He laughed.

"Sorry, Mr. Kingston I didn't know I would see you," Vaylin said.

"I'm just picking at you Vaylin but I swear I don't know what I've done to my wife shes up all hours of the night eating that candy." Dad laughs.

"She called me last night late and said she was up eating candy."

"Really? That's funny!" Vaylin laughed.

"She said she's making her way to your shop and was going to ask for you."

"Well, I will be glad to sell her some chocolate."

"Oh, I'm sure she will buy some and has no idea she's getting a big box for Valentine."

"How big is the box Vaylin?" I ask.

"You will have to come to see it. About as long as this bench." She laughs.
