I woke up feeling something wet near my cheek I kept my hand near my lips to see I was drooling.

I wiped my mouth, thank god he didn't wake up before me. I looked at him who was still asleep, wake up stupid it's been 2 hours. I gently poked his cheek with my index finger.

"Samir" I whispered in his ear. No reaction, and then I became too busy in observing his face, pretty face. I kept my palm on his cheek and he immediately opened his eyes my reflex was to remove my hand but he placed his hand on mine.

"what were you doing?" He asked while staring me as he held my hand tightly.

"you were awake?" I asked trying to pull my hand back.

"yes, from the last half an hour"

I made an O with my face "what were you doing?" I asked and a slight smirk appeared on his face.

"watching you drool like a baby" I closed my eyes in embarrassment and heard a chuckle from him.

He hugged me tightly and his scent just sent me to some other dimension.

"you know I still don't have your number" I said out of no where and he looked at me. "I mean that day you said that we don't have each other's number so I'm just saying" I said and he smiled.

"you're so adorable sometimes" I pushed him away and sat on the bed tying my hair in a bun.

"whatever" My phone rang and I saw the caller Id it was mom.

I picked it up and she greeted me with her sweet voice. "Hi mom" I felt a presence near me so I turned around to see Samir trying to hear what mom was saying, I pushed him and got up.

"Okay mom" I glared at him as he came closer.

"okay, bye" He placed his hands on my waist "what do you want?"

"what was mom saying?" I rolled my eyes at him and removed his hands.

"None of your business" I went down and sat on the couch waiting for the dress that mom sent me. Her driver will bring it within 5-10 minutes.

I smiled at her sweetness and how considerate she is. Just then Samir came down and flopped next to me. "you said you had work to do" I said not paying attention to him.

"stop being a meanie to me" He hugged my waist keeping his head on my shoulder. His voice, he tried to sound as sweet as possible and it melt my heart.

I again felt that weird feeling in my tummy as he tightened his grip on me.

The doorbell rang and I tried to get up but he didn't let me go "the maid will see it herself, don't move"

"Samir" I turned around to see the maid already opened the door and took the bag. She stood in front of me and handed me that bag. I thanked her and then he snatched the bag from my hands. "give it back to me"

He opened it and took out the dress, A maroon colored evening gown with spaghetti straps and a v cut on the neck the cut looked a little too deep. He unfolded it properly and the back wasn't too deep it was decent. The gown was long and plain, the color and the cloth was enough to make it look elegant and expensive.

"It's so pretty" I squealed taking the gown from his hands to which he replied in an annoyed voice.

"did you even see the neck cut, it's too deep"

"It looks sexy, don't worry" I said not looking at him as I was too busy admiring the gown.

My mother-in-law is definitely a cool person.
