Carry on..
This song is a song that I love so much and it's going to be for a very long time and when it's my time to get.. *cough* married or whatever. I want this song to be played some time during mine but it's not the song she's walking out to.
Chapter 53:
I heard the melody start to play, and that's when my dad holds out his arm for me to take and I secure my right arm around his.
"You ready?"
The men pull up the entrance for us to walk through and I look to my Dad my sign of approval. "I'm ready."
"Then let's go." We emerge from the curtains, but I didn't look up yet, my heart beating out of my chest -I'm surprised nobody noticed yet. I watched the soles of my feet reappear and disappear out of my dress. "Look up sweet pea." My father whispered in my ear, and I do.
Our eyes lock and if my Dad wasn't supporting me, I think I would fainted.
I wasn't shocked to find him in an all white suit, followed by his tie and shoes matching but I was startled to see his facial expression.
He had a bleat look on his face almost as if he couldn't believe it, and I say his eyes flash to our daughter before looking right back at me. He didn't want to miss a thing and my eye stammered in my chest, watching a tear slip from his right eye.. or was it my right?
10 steps closer.
I didn't want anything else right now in this moment but him in my arms. "Almost there." My dad guided me to him.
Taking my arm from around his, he gave my hand a gentle cherished squeeze before placing my hand in Landon's waiting palm. "Take care of my daughter." He was stern, it wasn't a merciless threat but it was made aware that he would always be there.
"Yes sir." He shook my Dad's hand before guiding me up the three steps. Letting go of my dress, I placed both my hands in his.
"Stop crying." I brought both our hands up to clear his face. "You'll make me cry."
"I'm sorry." We both chuckled heartily. "You ready?" He asked me and shifting from left to right, I gave him my honest answer.
"Yes."
"We are all gathered her today for the Lovely Embre Daniels and Landon Hale-"
I don't hear much after that I'm too busy focused on looking at my soon to be husband.
"Embre." I snapped out of it once I see Landon's mouth start to move. "Embre, the moment I saw you, I felt like my heart whispered to me "That's the one." I didn't think it was possible for me to love anyone as much as I love you.. you chose me through all the things we've been through.. I vow to love you through everything, I promise to never stop loving you, our family.. I thought I was broken but you fixed me in so many ways than I can explain, and I want you to be mine forever, until death do us part."

The Pastor turns to me. And I clear my throat and I say my vows.
"Landon, I chose to stay with you for all the things you did right not wrong, I know you had a past, but I wanted a future with the only man I loved and will only love until death do us part. You gave me hope in finding true love, you gave me hope that there is a man exactly like you. I still till the day don't know how I got so lucky to have you, and now I can say I love you forever, you gave me the greatest blessing I could ever ask for, our daughter, you're my one and only forever."
I realize I'm crying and I bring my hand up to wipe it away. "I'm sorry you guys." I turned to the crowd and they laugh with me.
"You may now exchange rings." We both turned to see Marie bringing up Amara with her with the rings dangling from her little fingers, that looked too big to fit on her little body.
Landon pinched at her cheeks and she smiled before we both retrieved our rings from our Angel.
I go first, sliding his ring onto his ring finger on his left hand. It fitted him perfectly. Golden.
He takes ahold of my hand before sliding my engagement ring onto my finger following my band, and my ring. It was extra but I let him have his way.
"Does anybody object to this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace."
We wait a solid minute.
"Landon Hale.. do you accept Embre Daniels as your wife?"
"I do."
"Embre Daniels.. do you accept Landon Hale as your husband?"
"I do."
"I present you Mr and Mrs. Landon Hale." That earned some whistles in the air. "You may now kiss the bride."
"You don't have to tell me twice." Landon grinned and I laugh before his lips met mine in a passionate kiss that held our forever. He placed his forehead against mine.
"You're mine.."
"And you're mine."
"I like the sound of that Mrs. Hale."
And I smile at him.
"Now I can get use to that."
"Better." We enjoy the rest of our ceremony us dancing around with family and friends. The father and daughter dance, turns out my dad actually was crying.
But at the end of the night the only arms I wanted to be in was my man.. my husband Landon Hale.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" I scream into the hospital bed.
"Embre just breathe."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUST BREATHE?! I AM BREATHING!"
"I told you this would happen." Marie says, shooting a glare at her, she steps back in fear.
I really need to calm down. "She's almost here."
"What do you mean?! What's she doing in there?!"
"We need you to push one more time."
"I can't." I whined into the pillow, it was my fault for caving in to him wanting another baby."

"Baby I'm right here just one more push, here hold my hand." Taking ahold of his hand, I purposely squeezed it hard so he knew my pain.
"I'm sorry." I heard myself whispering after hearing him wince and it one last dying push, my baby was here.
"She's beautiful." I heard the Doctor cheer.
"Let me see... Let me see." I held out my hands, forgetting about the pain momentarily.
"She's perfect."
"Now we have three." Landon watched over the both of us. We had a son. He looks just like Landon but with my eyes.
Jace Landon Hale.
And now we have our new baby girl.
"What are we going to name her." I ask Landon, and he looks deep in thought.
Adley Clara Hale.
"I love it."
We tell the doctor our baby girls name and she writes it down. "Let me go clean her, and I'll be right back."
Amara.
Jace.
Adley.
My babies.
~
The doctor released me two days later, and we went home. "Amara?" I called out for my oldest daughter. Shooting around the corner on her toddler legs she was followed by Lily. "Look who I brought back home."
"Jace?" She asked, she's three almost four and she already understood basic communication, her talking was getting better.
"'No, Adley."
"Adlee?"
"Yeah, your new sister."
"Sissy? Let me see, let me see." She jumped up and setting the car seat down on the table I unstrapped Adley from her comfortable sleeping position but didn't worry, she would be getting enough that. Going to the steps I sat at the lowest one for Amara to see her sister.
"She's pretty." She touched her cheek. "Does she have cat eyes like me? Jace doesn't."
"Honey you don't have cat eyes." I laugh at her joke.
"Yes I do! It's weird."
"It's unique."
"Unique?"
"Pretty."
"If you say so."
Amara grasped her hand into Adley hand, getting impatient at her still sleeping and Adley stirs in my hands before she wakes up, her hazel eyes exploring the house, before her eyes settle on Amara.
"She does! I'm not the only one!"
Landon walks in with the rest of our bags and he barely made it two steps in before Amara charged at him. "Daddy!" And dropping everything he bends down and swings her around once she's in his arms.
"Hey sweetheart." She plays with his hair while he smothers her with kisses on her face. And she giggles.
"Lily left?" I ask, looking around for her.
"She said she needed to get the hell- I mean heck out of here, I guess her niece was driving her crazy huh." Landon pokes Amara nose and she swats it away, causing me to laugh.
"Do you see baby?" She asked Landon, and he nods his head yes.
"Go say hi." She demands him, that's where she gets that from, and he does exactly what she says and I laugh. Putting Amara down and he holds his hands out to me, wanting our new baby girl in his arms.
I carefully place Adley in Landon's arms, and he cradles her to him.
"Hey baby girl." He coos at her and she lifts her hand up, smiling at him and he attaches his hand to hers.
"She's so small." He whispers before he turns, leaving the room. He spends the day with our new baby girl while I take care of Amara and Jace. He always gets like this when we had the kids, wants the first day to himself and I was completely fine with it, if he was going to put her to sleep also but I knew that was my job.
After dinner was over, and putting them to sleep. I took a quick shower to rinse off the hospital stitch and was surprised to find an empty bed, but smiling to myself I knew exactly where he was.
Walking into the room designed for Adley to see she's already still fast asleep, I looked down to Landon sleep next to her crib. Looks like I have to deal with four babies.
"Landon." I shrug his shoulder, and he sits up in alarm. He was like that now, every little moment he thought something dramatic was going on.
"Huh what? What's going on?"
"Nothing babe, come on let's get all the sleep we can get." I held out my hand but knew it was going to be him to help me support him on getting up. "Come on."
He wraps his arm around my waist and we go to our room. "Shower?"
"I already did that."
"Without me?"
"You took too long and besides the Doctor already said-"
"Six weeks.. yes I know." He sighed, before going to take his own shower.
Soon we were in bed and with his arm wrapped around my mid section and our legs tangled like every night we waited for sleep to envelop us knowing in a couple hours our sleep was going to be interrupted by our daughter.
"I love you." He whispered before kissing the top of my forehead.
"You're just saying that so you don't have to get up first." I kissed his pec before snuggling. "I love you too."
Everybody received their happy endings. My Mom and Dad, Richard and Ruby, Liam and Regina.. Adaline and Josh... even Marie and Seth hit it off, still have no clue how that happened- well yes we do we set them up- but oh well their happy.
And as for Landon and his Mom...
They've grown fond of each other, but we all knew that the space she took could never be filled again but that's okay he learned to forgive.
Caressing his arm, knowing he's fast asleep, I grinned to myself.
I don't know what I would do without him.
