I know you all weren't expecting this POV. Let me know what you think about it and if you want more of Elijah. :)

Elijah's POV -

Standing in the ring, my eyes are full of rage as I throw multiple punches towards my opponent, getting a hit on him every time.

My forehead was full of sweat as I knocked him across the head, his body hitting the floor.

"Fuck," He groans, rolling onto his stomach and I roll my eyes.

"Get up James." I say flatly.

"Dannazione, why are you always so mean in the ring?" He grunts, getting up and rolling his shoulder.

(Damn.)

"What, do you want to drink tea and fucking gossip?"

He gives me an unamused look before turning and walking to the stairs to get off the ring.

I follow him and reach for my towel, wiping the sweat off of me while James gulps down a whole water bottle in seconds.

"Usually you want to fight Rome, so why has it been me lately?" He asks once he finishes the bottle.

"No reason."

"Ooh there is a reason, isn't there?"

I grit my teeth. He never knows when to shut up.

He continues to taunt me and when I take a threatening step towards him he squeals like a kid and takes 5 steps back.

"You've been fighting me for the past few days, ever since..." James trails off while I glare at him.

All of a sudden he gasps, "You do care!"

I scoff, "Care about what?"

"About Arya!"

Oh, that kid.

"You think I care about her? I don't."

"I can see right through your act even though you're trying to hide it." He says with a smile while pointing his index finger at me.

All of a sudden I grab his finger and twist it, making it crack and he yelps.

"You bitch!" He yells, now cradling it while I cross my arms.

"What makes you think I care?"

After tending to his finger for two seconds, he turns back to me.

"Well, you've been right on top of finding more about the Russians-"

"Because Rome asked me," I cut him off. "He's still our Capo at the end of the day."

"Yes but I see you working every second you're not trying to break my bones here." He smirks.

"And you've been having me fight you instead because you don't want to take away Rome from being with Arya." He continues and I open my mouth to protest before he beats me to it,

"It's okay to admit that you care, Elijah. I care about her, that girl is so innocent and pure. Why wouldn't you?"

"Just because I haven't called him down here in a few days doesn't mean I give a shit about that girl."

He sighs. "Yeah you keep telling yourself that. I'm gonna go find Rome and see how she's doing. I haven't seen the princess in a while."

With that he turns and leaves the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I crack my knuckles as I try to control the anger that's still inside of me.

No.

I don't care.

I didn't care when Rome had told me her mom hit her.

I didn't care when I heard her crying in her room at night.

I didn't care when I found out she hasn't been eating properly.

And I didn't care when I found out the Russians took her dad while her mom is somewhere on the fucking streets most likely.

I can't care.

Right?

Arya's POV -

Rome had woken me up about an hour later with some pasta in a bowl ready for me.

He sat with me, trying to distract my mind while I tried to eat the food I wasn't hungry for.

I was able to finish about half when I said I was done, and even though he looked like he wanted to argue, he didn't say anything and simply nodded and put the bowl to the side.

Once I was settled back in bed, Rome's eyes hardened slightly before he looked at me.

"Arya, what you did today was reckless. You shouldn't have gone to your house without telling me."

I bite my lip and play with the covers, "I know...I didn't expect to see it..." I trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence.

"I just wanted to see them again. I couldn't stop myself from leaving school and going there." My voice sounded like it was getting croaky towards the end.

He sighed and grabbed my hand, "Just tell me next time if you're going somewhere, okay? I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'm sorry." I say quietly and he presses a kiss to my temple.

There's a knock on the door and Rome grunts making me giggle.

In walks a mop of blonde hair and my eyes light up.

"James!" I yell making him wink at me and then charge for a hug.

Before he can reach me he's yanked back by his collar.

"What the fuck!" He exclaims, clutching his throat as he stares at Rome.

"First I almost get knocked out by Elijah, and then you choke me!"

"I didn't even choke you." Rome responds.

But then both Rome and I's ears perk up.

"Why'd he hurt you?" I question softly and James' gaze softens as he looks at me.

"I don't know, because he's a dick."

I gasp, "Language James!" I scold and Rome chuckles.

James then turns to Rome and points a finger at him,

"You!" He starts, "Need to go and talk to Elijah, he's been mean lately. He just beat me up in the ring."

"Isn't he always like that?" Rome asks, raising a brow and then slaps James' hand away from his face.

"Yes but more than normal."

"Fine." He responds blankly before turning to me. "James will stay with you for now, will you be okay?"

I nod, "Yup he will keep me company, right?" I ask with wide eyes towards James.

He smiles warmly at me and ruffles my hair, "Sure princess, I've got a lot of stories to tell you about Rome and Elijah when they were younger."

I hear Rome grunt and then he kisses me quickly before leaving the room.

"You know I've never seen Rome this soft towards anyone before. It's odd." James says, looking down at me once sitting next to me.

I twiddle my thumbs, "I don't know what he sees in me James." I admit honestly. "I feel like he could do so much better. I mean, he's so much older and-"

"Listen princess," He cuts me off, "Rome has never looked at a girl like he does at you, and even though it freaks me out, It's nice to see him happy."

I beam brightly at him, my worries slightly easing away.

"He's normally a fuck and dump kind of guy."

"A...what?" I say, eyes widening.

"Fuck and dump, you know...oh god." He stops himself, covering his mouth.

"I forget you're innocent! Please forget I said that." He practically yells in my ear while I'm still left feeling confused.

I shrug it off, but those words stay in the back of my mind to ask Rome about later.

'He's normally a fuck and dump kind of guy.'

What does that even mean?

Rome's POV -

Finding Elijah in the training room doesn't surprise me.

He's only ever working or fighting something.

And right now he's brutally destroying a punching bag.

I make my way towards him and observe him in silence. I can tell he's taking whatever anger he has out on the bag.

"Rough day?" I ask, watching as he swings once more at the bag and drops his hands, blood dripping down his knuckles.

"You might want to clean that up." I continue, eyeing the blood now on the floor.

"I'm fine." He responds, turning to me and then raising his knuckles to look at them.

"What's the cause of your anger this time?"

"I'm not angry."

"Sure." I say flatly before eyeing the ring, "You normally ask me when you want to fight, so why James?"

"Fuck," He curses, running a hand through his hair while I wait for an answer.

When he doesn't say anything, I raise a brow towards him making him curse again.

"Shit, just because I didn't ask you doesn't mean there's a reason."

"I never said it did, I only asked why James?"

"Because I felt like it. Plus James annoys the hell out of me half of the time so I wanted to hit him."

"Fair enough." I respond, his answer actually making sense. However, I know there's something else on his mind.

"Are you sure that's the only reason? You know I'm here if you want to talk."

He sighs, "I'm sure Rome, just drop it."

I do.

"Alright well I want to talk to you about a few things having to do with Arya."

He tenses slightly but then his shoulders relax.

"Sure, what is it?"

Izzy's POV (Earlier Today) -

Apparently Arya decided to leave school her last period.

Why? I have no clue. She only sent me a text saying she had something to take care of.

Normally we walk together when passing period goes on, but I'm on my own today.

I'm glad Arya found Rome, he seems to be taking good care of her. All she talks about is Rome and I'm happy for her.

Even though he seems scary I know she likes him, and that's all that matters I guess.

After I heard what Trevor did to her, I've wanted to find him just so I can give him a good punch.

And a few others, and maybe a broken nose too.

I did like Trevor, but after I found out what he did I'm glad he's gone.

Where? No clue, but half of me wishes he'd come back just for one day.

But the other half wants him to stay away from here and Arya as far as possible.

Shaking those thoughts out of my head, I approach my last period with a bored look on my face.

Normally the seat next to mine is empty, so I'm slightly surprised to see a boy sitting there.

I don't say anything and simply take my seat, taking out my phone.

A few minutes pass by and the teacher talks about whatever shit we have to do today.

"Hey, what's your name?" The boy asks, turning slightly towards me.

"Hi. I'm Izzy, yours?"

He smiles, "I'm Oliver."
