《Playtime》Part three: Savanna Henderson chapter nine

I ran with Angelia, feeling the cold wind on my face. I didn't recongize the forest we were going into, but I had a sudden chilled feeling that this war wasn't over. It was never over. I was a fallen angel and wanted by seven servants of the devil. I stop at the border of the forest before feeling my neck. It felt foreign and empty without the mark. It was like my body had gotten used to the burning and fed off of of having it.
I look at the angels face as her wings fluttered in the cold breeze. I had a sudden anger rage. Rage of loosing my normal life and having to fend between Death and Life. I was sick of running. I clenched my fists as my blond hair hung in my face. My dark wings folded in, turning invisable behind me. I let my eyes roam the forest before backing up.
"It's the only way," she insists. "Trust me." I scoff. The hatred, deadly venom fell from my lips as I gave her a death glare. I couldn't contain the emotions anymore. All I knew was that the counsel wasn't willing to help me, and this angel couldn't stand being touched by an unclean thing.
"No." I say. "I go my own way." She flashes me a blank expression before looking behind me. Voices echoed as they got closer. Fear struck her face as she ran into the forest, leaving me. I sigh and try to get my emotions under control.
As I open my eyes, a sting hit my cheek as I collapse to the ground. Yoongi stood with anger, hunger and desire mixed together in his expression. His white hair hung in his face as his tattooed embroidered hands touched my face where he hit. I shake in fear. The softness I saw earlier was gone.

I look at the green grass. The sun was setting and I could tell that brought the worst in them. I get pulled up by Namjoon who bit his lip. I could tell he was trying his best to contain the urge to bite me.
Screw the vampire. I say. He was the least of my worries.
"Watch what you say about my friends." Yoongi says giving me a death glare. His eyes were now a crimson red, maybe darker. The demon inside of him was there. I had to figure out a way to calm it down. I then snap my head in his direction.
"You can read my mind?" I ask struggling against Namjoon's tight grip. Yoongi nods before coming closer. I cough as I could smell the alcohol in his breath. Disgusting.
"I can do more than that, princess." he cooes, clearly drunk. I shake my head and try to move further away, but can't.
"Since when did you have time to get drunk?" I ask annoyed. "You're always chasing after me." He rolls his eyes before grabbing me and examing my neck.
"She did take it off," he says softly while running his finger down my neck. I shudder and feel goosebumps rise up my skin. I try to shake away, but his grip tightens. "Don't you know that you belong to me?" He whispered before shoving me to the ground.
"Why you little-"
"She's all yours." he says turning away. "Don't kill her. I need her alive." He walks away as the vampires surround me. I stand up and try to run, but end up bumping into Jimin who fiddled with his ring. He smirks.
"Don't try to run, princess." he advises. "They're faster and stronger." he step out of the way, as I get tackled by vampires to the ground. I struggle, feeling the coldness of their skin on me.

"GET OFF!?" I scream. Before I could shove them off, I feel a sharp pain, making me take in a sharp breath. Using all my energy, I shoved both of them off, pissing them off in the process.
"You are sure fiesty. No wonder Yoongi chose you." Taehyung states. I give him an irritated expression. "He has the energy to deal with you." and thats when I broke.
Tears just streamed down my face. I couldn't control it anymore. I didn't want this. I wanted someone to want me. I wanted to be loved, cherished and not used. I hug myself as I sink to the ground, shocking the six remaining souls that stood before me.
"She's crying." Namjoon said. "Why is she crying?" I could hear mumbles before a sudden rustle behind me. I turn to see Jimin's eyes flashing gold.
"The sorrow.....Pain...." he says trying to get past the group that was holding him back. "It's so....good." he gets past the other and was about to lunge on me, when a body stopped him. I saw a flash of white through my tearfilled eyes. That's when I heard the one voice defend me.
"Don't you know anything about girls?" it said. "They need comforting." I start to hiccup as a result to crying.
"Who is going to do the comforting?" I heard Jungkook's cold voice ask. That's when my humanity cracked. I had not sympathy left. I stood up and shoved all of them. In a speed faster than a vampire. I hit a tree, sending it flying. Anger, sadness, depression, anxiety...it all was mixed.
It was a dangerous combination. It could bring anyone to the violent side. I tremble and scream. I can't hear anything but my pleadings for the pain to go away. I couldn't recall doing anything. I couldn't recall begging, but before long...I felt my blood being drained.
I felt my sudden pain fade, and I felt strong arms wrap around me as I collapse from blood loss. I look to see the one person I trusted at that moment. The one person I wanted to see, to hear.

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
