《The Legend Of Drog》Chapter 13: Elder Returns!

Drog closed the door behind him and thought, "I haven't used my Qi for ten years so it must have recovered by now." He closed his eyes and focused on the dantian. A half breath of time passed and he sensed both his Qi and divine Qi swirling around in the dantian – together yet separate.
Drog opened his eyes and a slight smirk appeared on his face. "I should go back to the shack and pour the Qi into the first vein. The faster the foundation is established, the faster I will be able to cultivate and reach the higher realms," he thought and walked out of the village – towards the shack.
Several breaths of time passed and Drog made it back. He walked inside and sat in the middle of the room, closed his eyes and focused on his dantian.
Liu Ri nodded her head and thought, "Good! He isn't wasting any time and is getting right into it."
In the dantian, Drog sensed the Qi and focused on it. As he focused on the Qi a single strand of it formed and Drog guided the formed Qi strand all the way into the first vein of martial novice point. After putting this Qi into the vein Drog searched for more Qi but he found out there wasn’t any.
Drog opened his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows. "This is a pain, only one strand from my Qi…” Drog sighed inwardly, “I am only rank 1 martial notice and its already taking me so long to even establish my foundation for this sub-realm. What about the future, how many years would I have to cultivate until I reach higher realms? … Never in my life, I was so slow in something!"
"Master is there a way to increase my Qi?"

"Qi increases as you reach higher realms of cultivation," Liu Ri said calmly.
Drog frowned, "Qi increases with cultivation but each foundation building will require more and more Qi won't it?"
"Yes."
"By your estimate how long will it take me to build my foundation for rank 1 martial novice?"
"It should take you about one month and that's assuming if you pour your entire Qi every time, if you try to hold any back it will take even two or three months."
Drog frowned, "A month or even longer? That's too long! it's just a foundation for the very first level of cultivation and it's already a month or longer? That's absurd!"
"Stop whining, your talent is sh*t! What did you expect? I already told you that you could only use 5% of your entire Qi."
Drog narrowed his eyes, "Is there a way to increase my talent then?"
"There is but you are far too weak to be able to utilise those methods."
Drog narrowed his eyes, "What methods are those?"
"Alchemy." She thought, "Amongst others."
"Alchemy?"
"Yes, enter a sect, get access to the sect's herbs and I will see if its possible or not."
Drog nodded, "Alright, I understand." He thought," It's good that there is indeed a way to increase my talent, wasting to much time on a single level without progressing is not mean for someone like me."
Drog stood up and looked through the window after he approached it. "There is still some time until the appointment. I should take a stroll and go to Big Sister's Ri's place after," he thought then stood up and walked out of the shack.
After several hours of walking around aimlessly, Drog returned back to the village.

Drog walked to Big Sister's Ri's house, pushed the door open and entered. "Big brother!" A voice of the child sounded as Drog walked through the door. Drog looked at the source of the voice and saw a little widely smiling boy.
"Where is your mother?" Drog immediately asked.
Jin blinked his eyes innocently, "She is still cooking. Nevermind my mother, I want to talk to you!"
Drog shook his head and walked passed the little boy. As he walked deeper into the house by the corner of his eye, he saw a back of the woman, "Hello, Big Sister Ri!"
She glanced behind and smiled as she saw Drog's face. "You are already here, Drog?"
"Yes," Drog said with a smile.
"Do you mind setting the table?" She replied back with a smile.
"Table?" Drog mumbled. He glanced towards the place where the old table stood and now saw the new one. "So she has already replaced it," he thought.
"I don't mind.”
"I will help too, big brother!" Jin called out in excitement.
Few breaths of time passed and Drog together with Jin set up the table. Drog sat down but before he could close his eyes, a childish voice called out to him, "Big brother!"
Drog glanced at Jin. "What is it?" He said as he knew that if he wouldn't have answered that the boy would have just called out to him again and again without stopping.
"Teach me how to become a cultivator big brother!"
Drog shook his head, "Wait a few years."
"I don't want to wait, I want to become a cultivator now!"
"Jin! Enough!" Big Sister's Ri's voice came. Drog turned his eyes towards her and saw her standing near the table with a huge pot in her hands. She placed it on the table, "Today is kitchen stew."
Big Sister Ri put everyone their portion, Drog took a bite and smiled, "It is as good as I remember."
Big Sister Ri smiled, "Thank you."
Drog shook his head, "It's okay."
"It's delicious, mom."
"Thank you, Jin’er."
Drog throughout his meal didn’t glance at Big Sister Ri a single time. While she kept stealing glances at Drog. She wanted to ask what he did in the last ten years, but she didn't as earlier Drog said that he won't be telling her anything about what he had done in the of ten years.
Drog finished eating and he looked up, he was greeted with Big Sister’s Ri’s beautiful eyes. "I will be going now, Big Sister Ri."
"Already?" She asked reluctantly.
"Yes, I am leaving."
She sighed, "I see… You should come every day, he should come to the village in several days but who knows, he might even come tomorrow."
"Alright."
Drog stood up but before he could take a single step, Big Sister Ri said, “I will see you out, then.”
“Me too!” Jin added.
Big Sister Ri and Jin stood up and they together escorted Drog to the door. But as they arrived at the door, it suddenly opened and a man that looked like he was in his thirties entered. He had long brown hair, green eyes and wore the same robe as Drog.
He frowned, "Who is this?"
"You have returned, husband?"
"Daddy!"

I would also appreciate any corrections or suggestions.
