《The Legend Of Drog》Chapter 12: I Belong To The Cultivation World!

Drog walked passed both Big Sister Ri and the little boy Jin. He sat down at the table behind her. From the table, he looked up and said, "Come, let's talk."
Big Sister Ri turned around, faced Drog and nodded her head. She without thinking much about what just transpired – walked towards the table and sat down opposite of him. The boy followed after and sat by her side.
She didn't notice the strangeness of the situation. Drog who was the guest sat down first and then he invited her as if their roles were reversed, it was like he was the master and she was the guest. This one action showed Drog's arrogance, character, mentality and belief that he was the one at the top.
Liu Ri cracked a smile and thought, "Really! The more I watch this brat, the more I like him… To think that he would have the arrogance of the emperor!" She shook her head inwardly, "No! The arrogance of a god!" She giggled lightly and a wide smile appeared on her beautiful face.
…
Drog's eyes met with Big Sister's Ri's eyes. "Drog, where have you been for then years? And why did you run away?"
Drog didn't answer her question, he lowered his eyes and looked down at the table. He placed his left hand on the table and trailed his hand across it. "It has been ten years since I sat at this table. Hasn't it, Big Sister Ri?" he said with a smile on his face.
She nodded and memories of the four boys flashed through her head. After a short pause a light smile appeared on her face, "Yes, it really has…" She thought, "I miss those days with four of them."
Drog saw her stare off into space, he coughed into his hand. She moved her eyes to Drog and he said, "Big Sister Ri, how are they doing? Go, Ro and No I mean."
"Go, Ro and No? Who are they? Jin wondered.
"The last time I saw them was when they left for the sect but I heard from my husband that they are doing just fine."

"Your husband? He thought, "If her husband told her about those three then that must mean he is from the sword sect."
"My daddy is the strongest! When I grow up, I want to be just like him," Jin proclaimed with a wide smile.
"My husband is the elder of the sword sect," she added.
"So I was right," he thought.
"Was he the elder that showed up to take Go, Ro and No away?"
She nodded, "You guessed it right, I married the elder of the sword sect."
Drog smiled inwardly, "This is a chance for me to enter the sword sect without having the trouble of going through the examinations and that talent test. I can use Big Sister's Ri's husband's position to bypass all that. But to do that, I will have to reveal that I am now a cultivator to Big Sister Ri." He furrowed his eyebrows and thought, "Although I do not like revealing things about myself to those outside my family and close friends but this is something I must do."
"Big Sister Ri, where is your husband now?"
"He is back in the sect, why?"
"What do you want with my daddy?" Jin asked.
Drog ignored the child and said, "Can you contact him?"
The boy frowned and thought, "I really don't like him!"
Big Sister Ri looked at Drog with a frown, "I can… but what do you want from him?"
Drog cracked a smile, "Big Sister Ri, can your husband bring me into the sword sect?"
Her eyes widened in shock and she jumped in surprise, "What did you just say?!"
"I want to enter the sword sect, Big Sister Ri."
She sat down, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A moment passed and she breathed out. Her eyes opened and she calmly said, "Drog, you can't! You are not even a cultivator! You have no place in that world. You were thrown out when your talent was tested as an F-rank. You are just a normal human!"

"And what if I belong to that world? What about then?" Drog said with a meaningful smile.
"What?!"
"If my dantian was awakened and if I had a cultivation base, what about then?"
She stared blankly for a moment. "Drog, don't joke around. It's not funny." She shook her head.
Drog sighed and slammed his fist towards the table.
BAM!
The table shattered into many small pieces – the little boy jumped back in a fright and a dumbfounded expression appeared on Big Sister's Ri's face.
"Do you think, I don't have a cultivation base now, Big Sister Ri?"
"How is this possible?" she mumbled – disbelief was written all over her face. The boy gulped down his saliva and his eyes sparkled. "Big brother is so cool," he thought. All his dislike towards Drog disappeared in a single action.
"Big Sister Ri, bring me into the sword sect." The words he said didn't sound like a request but rather a command.
"Drog, how?" she mumbled not believing that Drog had really become a cultivator.
"Let's say, I had a fortuitous encounter and now I am a cultivator. Will you contact your husband?"
"You won't tell me what you did for the last ten years and where have you been?"
"I won't." Drog shook his head.
She sighed, "I see. I understand Drog, I will contact him." She looked down at the shattered table and memories of the four boys sitting at the table eating and chatting happily flashed through her eyes, a sad expression appeared on her face and she thought, "This was the table where they always ate, how could Drog destroy it just like that? How?"
Jin was too focused at Drog to notice, the sad expression on his mother's face. She stood up and disappeared from the room and only two – a child and a teenager remained.
"Big brother!"
Drog closed his eyes and ignored the boy.
The boy frowned but he called out again, "Big brother!"
"Big brother!"
"Big brother!"
After several more calls, Drog sighed and thought, "This is driving me crazy. I should just answer him." His eyes opened, "What is it?"
Jin smiled, "How strong are you, big brother?"
"I didn't tell my strength to your mother so why should I tell it to you?" He thought, "And I did that, as it was necessary and not because I wanted to. If she didn't have a connection to the sword sect, I would have left after getting the location of the sword sect and I wouldn't have told her anything."
"Tell me!"
"I won't." Drog calmly said.
Jin furrowed his eyebrows but before he could say a single word, words came from a distance, "Stop bothering your uncle!"
Jin turned his head and saw his mother, she now wore her normal expression. "I have contacted my husband, he will come in a few days. Until he arrives, you can sleep on your old bed."
Drog shook his head, "That won't be necessary, I will come back in a few days." Drog stood up and walked to the door.
"Where are you going, Drog?" She shouted out in an attempt to stop him.
He turned his head and looked at anxious Big Sister Ri, "I am now a cultivator, I don't have to say anything further, right?"
She sighed, "I understand, Drog. At least come and eat dinner with us, I haven't seen you for ten years and after you leave with my husband I won't see you for maybe ten or even more years."
Drog smiled, "I will come."
"Don't go, big brother!" Drog ignored Jin's shout and walked out of the door.
"Why didn't you stop him, mom?!"
"He will come by later, just wait until then!"
Jin reluctantly nodded, "Alright, mom."

THIRTEEN (Evie's Perspective)
This is the 2003 movie, Thirteen, told from the perspective of Evie Zamora. We got Tracy's point of view, but what about Evie? Why did she do the things she did?I've seen a few different interpretations of Evie's perspective and I decided to give it a go. This is how I think Evie thought and the reasons behind why she did the things she did. This is NOT canon, just a fanfiction, and I am not affiliated with Thirteen or Catherine Hardwick in any way.
