The Scarecrow was walking arms swinging back and forth the shattered wooden handle held in its hand the tip a spike of sharp wood.
The grass under its feet was black but slowly turning brown showing some sine of life.
Within the dead land the only animals that had flourished were crows the birds that ate the dead had found a home with no preditors feasting on the remainis of life until.
The scarcrow watched as a few black birds flew from a tree into the sky the wooden spike shot forward stabbing the wing of the smallest bird out of the 3 the other 2 reald around as they herd the sound of there friend calling out in pain.
They flew twords there enemy these were not normal crows years of being the top of the food chain had made them proud and not afraid of anything that wasn't a crow.
As the scarecrows wooden leg slammed down on there’s friends neck ending the birds life with a crack.

Fury was what could be called the emotion that was burning through the scarecrows sraw body his world was turned dark as the scarecrows face was attacked by both birds. The scarecrows hand swung at the birds he was able to hit one bird making it lose some feathers. The only problem was that it gave the other bird got a swipe in.

There was a small amount of straw poking from its bag face from the scratch. There was no pain just the feeling of some energy inside him being taken.
The scarecrow pointed his wooden spear at one bird the wooden legs slammed into the ground sending its body flying forward the birds were unprepared for the speedy attack the spear slamming through one birds body sending blood splatter everywhere.

The last bird took the opportunity to slam into the back there was a crack as the beak stabed into the back of the sraw body.

The sarcow fell forward its hand sending the spear out to break its fall then as the bird prepared for its finishing attack the lack of a spine allowed the straw bag body to do a 180 spin and use the wooden spear as a bat causing the crow to be sent flying into the dark, of the dead forest slamming into a tree with a dull thud.

Looting all 3 birds Gained nothing but a blood stain on the scarecrows wooden hand. The scarecrow stood looking around then he saw something terafiying every wooden bone in his body locked up in the shock of instinctual fear . The sky burst into flame. The scarecrow ran from the fire never having seen the sun before.
As the heat rushes twords the scarcows feet the light struck his back the first sensation of warmth shot through his body. Huddled down on himself the scarcrows body began to shake as words began to flash in his mind.
