《Nekana, One in Billions, Lost.》Chapter 24 - She Paces

The room was lit of lights in yellow. They shine onto the wooden floor where a certain brunette stood with a ridiculous looking blank expression. Had Yasmine seen it, her first action to take would be to slap those dead looking eyes back to reality; wherever that were in Nekana's point view. Grey curtains were draped upon the soulless sky. The clouds gave smoky patterns that complemented the ever still sky. As dark it was getting, no rumbles of thunder could heard, not even the sharp tingles of rain.
Standing still, but not for long, Nekana took motion. She paced around her room in never ending and inaccurate circles. Repeatedly her footsteps quietly sounded. Thud, thud, thud. Her mind was blank, the discomfort of such threatened to throw her sanity into the showers and down the manhole. She couldn't handle the silence of internal lands. It was just awfully silent; deadly silent if she could add. She felt as if she'd lost her language and wasn't in control of her own body. There was no orders that were to be given to her brain and she felt as if all she were was but an existennce. One whose sole purpose was to breathe. Not eat, not breathe, not even the toilet as an available option. Just exist. That was the message she'd gotten.
She was a plant. A brown, wilting plant that had not even the instinctive conscious to eat since the weather wasn't helping her either. There was no sunlight, you see. All but the simple grey and marble patterned like clouds. She couldn't even explain her state of mind herself. What else was a simple plant than photosynthesis? A breathing living being. Heck, not even food was available.
The clock ticks and her footsteps still remained as she failed to somehow remove herself from the current strange state she was in; by far. She craved for dreams and an escape from the empty well that she was. She wanted to be enlightened of the beauty of what was always out of her grasp. Fingers entwined, hands held in front and above, they clenched. Here she was, a bound slave to her fantasy world. 'Will it ever be under my control? This scary and unpleasant moment.' Nekana had no control over her fear of the always planning future. She was afraid of the unknown.

Her mind was not just blank. She was figuring out her future, predicting such as it was important: so she was always told since young. What she had was a chance unlike many others so Nekana obviously followed it. A prediction of the future and its goals. Did she have any, perhaps. The imagery that was produced were vague.
A blur of colors in her inner mind. A world without magic, dragons, martial arts or super powers. Not even the tragic love stories she'd read on the rare occasions. Nothing but plain old reality. Nekana imagined the world of adults in a society sense. The common ones worked, earned, returned: where? Was it even home? This life, I have to live eventually. It was these things she almost remembered. She was still unprepared. Afraid. Adults were always beings that always popped out one way or another without the slightest glimpse of the fact that they too once had a past. Simply put, she was selfish. Selfish in a sense that she never wanted to grow up. Refusing all that what was needed to be thrown at her. Those posts on the internet that tells people that they are going to be alright. Live another day, always be positive for you are always beautiful despite many odds. Be happy. White lies, a refusal of...
As for her prediction and what came in all bluntly. Blank.
