There was one problem that seemed to that would be a wrench in Felix's plan. And that was the fact that he had no magic in his body. When he was more than a month old he was checked to see if he had any magical blood in his veins, and the results came up negative.

He had a basic rundown of how magic worked in this world. there were several classifictations of those who used magic. First there were mages, beings who drew upon the magic within themselves to perform certain spells. Then there were the magus, beings who able to draw upon the power within nature to produce spells. These types were very rare and considered s rank individuals due to the enormous amount of power at their disposal. The Great magus Alicia would have been given the classification of sss rank due to her enormous aptitude.There were several types of magic; elemental, light, healing, summoning, andt hen there were elves. with there spirit magic,dwarves with there smithing magic, beasts with there bestial magic, and so on. The list was endless and needless to say magic was pretty lethal in this world. Thankfully there other means of obtaining strength. first there was battleforce, a technique that was quite similar to what Felx's world would dub ki. Then there were the beast tamers, people who could work their best to fight. And then the paladins, people who made contracts with the gods in order to wield a portion of their power. there could be other methods that were unkown to Felix, but he had good understanding of the ablilities of this world. 

According to his father, During Alex's training in this world he formed contract with many gods, the main one with Karas, the god of war. granting the ability to wield battleforce. This power has been passed by him to his whole family from generation to generation. This in turn makes our family very capable fighters. The same couldn't be said for Felix however, since he wasn't born with ability to wield battleforce or magic for that matter. Thankfully, his parents didn't hold it against them. They believed that one way or another, Felix would find a way to make his mark in the world.

"Alright, my training regiment is complete. With I should be able to attain full body control in a matter of months." - Felix

The art of his previous family's martial art specialized in having full control of the body right down to the blood. This in turn made mastery of other martial art as well as other miscelaneous skills easy as they did it for years. Felix knew to get to where he needed, he would need a massive amount of strength. So before dealing with his lack of magic. he would first deal with mastering his previous skills. Mentally he had all knowledge and knowhow, he just had to get his body to catch up. 

"I really need to get some more information. Especially the matter of my brother and the matter of this witch he fought. Jeez, this would have been so much easier if could actually cast a spell. Why is that wasn't granted anything when I got over here. I didn'y even get the family's battleforce. I hope this isn't like one of those novels were fate screws me over. If so, then whoever's writing this is in for a world of hurt." - Felix

(ignoring that comment)

"Arlight, I'm not gonna let this hinder me in the least, I have mastered many arts of fighting, science, and others. I'm a certain dark knight of the world. If there's a way, I'll find it. In the meantime, I need to focuse on my studies and getting this body into fighting shape." - Felix 

Felix would not let his current circumstance hinder his goals. As he was heading back to his house from his recent training regime, he stumbled upon Marian and her son Amari.

"Ah, Miss Marian I didn't expext to see you here." - Felix

"Oh Felix, it's you. You really need to work on those quiet steps of yours they'll really give me a heart attack. Also, I thought I asked you to just call me Mary. We are family after all." - Marian

"Yeah, your right. My bad hehehe." - Felix

"Play bro, play." - Amari

Another fact Felix found about this world is that it was not weird to have more than one wife. It turned out that Marian was his dad's second wife and Amari was his son. He was born several months after Felix was, and unlike him, he actually had a knack for battleforce.Thankfully, since being a younger brother previously, Felix didn't get too jealous of his talents and actually tried to be the best older brother that he could ever look up to. This imprinted a good impression of him on his brother since always smiles and clings to him whenever he gets the chance. Felix was just happy that he wouldn't come to hate him, since that would seriously slow down his already complicated plan.

As Felix was beginning to get closer to his brother. a cold shiver ran up his spine and on reflex he put a lot of power into his legs and shot towards his brother, pushing him forward.and avoid ing the fangs that were directed at him. A massive white tiger suddenly appeared inf front of his eyes and from the look he was giving him, he wasn't to happy that his ambushed failed. 

"What is a white tiger like that doing in this forest!" - Marian

Marian immediately lept into action to try and dissuade the tiger. However, he seamed to be more interested in the prey that seemed to have evaded him. Marian was an earth paladin. Suffice to say she could manipulate the power of the earth to some extent. Mainly, she was above average in both attack and defense. she stopped going out into the field but still kept up with her studies. This was her first fight in a long time, so she was a little rusty. Unfortunately, that proved to be her downfall when the tiger with a burst of speed turned around and swiped her aside. Thankfully, being contractee ment the earth would aid recovery. Downside, that it takes longer when one's unconcious.

Now that the tiger eliminated the mos immediate threat, he set his sight on Felix and his brother. It started to creep towards them as Felix slowly drew them back.

"Man, this timing couldn't be any worse. If this was my other body, I could've taken out shere kahn over here in a heartbeat. But seeing as how this body of mine hasn't mastered fullbody control, there's no way I could stand toe-to-toe with a regular cat much less a big one. And it also doesn't help that I can't do magic either. Ohhhh I really feel like fate is just screwing with me. I mean, if this was anything like the light novels from my world I have advanced magic, game like skills, I could at least have super strength like zeus's son Hercules but tha......wait. According to what I gathered about magic for those who want to make contracts with gods the have to have a deep understanding of them as well as strong body and mind. However my connections with these gods could be described as nonexistent since I came from another world. So while maybe I can't form contracts with the gods of this world, what about the gods from my world instead. I spent a good portion of my life learning countless mythologies that I can tell what types are legends and myths.Now let's see how far I can go with this." - Felix

Felix closed eyes as he began to envision a road that began to separate and split into many directions. This was how most paladins formed a connection. The tiger didn't hesitate to take this moment of indifference to go on the offensive and take leap out at his prey.

"Okay Hercules, also known as Heracles, the child of Zeus, God of thunder, one who fufilled the twelve labors and wielded incredible strength. I have a good visual on who he is and now to form the connection." - Felix

Felix could feel a powerful force being imbedded into his soul. This was proof that he formed a connection. He grew really excited as he could feel the power seeping through his veins. He couldn't wait to unleash this power and this tiger was the perfect opportunity.

"As thanks for assisting me in this discovery. I Shall give you a taste of one of the great heroes from my myths." - Felix

When the tiger got to close Felix used every ounce of his power to unleash his newly aquired strength.

SPLAT

"Woow, I knew that this I gained strength but not this extent. Though it does feel a lot weaker than the legend. I'll have to look into it later. Right now I need to check up on-- ." - Felix

"Big brother! You saved us. Your Amazing!" - Amari

Amari, who was scared stiff to the point of crying, immediately lunged for his brother as he wept tears of joy . His little brother looked him with stars in his eyes, like he was hero who fell from the sky. To bad that attack Drained Felix so slightly weak from the ordeal. However, he fought the urge to sleep and went to check on Marian. Her wounds were steadily healing and she was breathing properly so it clear that she was out of danger. Though, poor Felix knew that he was going to have a story to tell her and his parents when he got back. As well as figuring out his new power and establishing new conncections this little quest of his just got whole lot easier and complicated, though he wouldn't find out till later why.
