《Dungeon Isolation》Chapter 5 - Part 1 of Warped Reality

Alexander Flite, the gamer of Ginlore, ran around a rank 1 dungeon of Freiburg in need of medicine supplies.
Medicine aside, the inside of a dungeon barrier always felt suffocating where wind is almost nonexistent, and the barrier only extends so far. It restricted the sense of freedom greatly.
You never felt as though you are still on Earth, even when structures made by humans surrounded you. But the structures that had been clean and intact a few months ago, were close to ruin and collapse now.
A war zone would be a better name for the dungeon.
Alex entered inside the gas station's store, taking careful glances around the isles and security rooms.
When he couldn't spot anyone, he stopped moving and increased his perception of the surroundings, and started hearing vague grumbling noises. But whatever made the noise, it was too far away to be inside the store.
Stepping over the broken floor tiles, he went around the counter. Searching for any kinds of pills or splints, a glass cabinet was found under the tabletop. The glass was still intact and likely to be made of reinforced material. The items inside were not accessible without a key.
Hanging on a nail hammered into the wall behind him, the first set of keys were found easily. When he took the keys off, they made a lot of noise as they rattled due to not finding the right key that fit the glass-vault.
Finally realizing the mistake of his actions, Alexander grabbed the dangling keys and dispersed the noise.
Placing the keys on the floor silently, he stood up and looked at the entrance of the store.
He froze at the sight of it...
Slowly crawling over, a colossal black slug with long antennas pointing at Alex, moved through the shelves decimating and flattening the wooden structures.

'How?'
Alexander asked himself, thinking about what he did to attract such a monster.
'It shouldn't have heard me, it doesn't have ears!'
Alex dashed around the slug and out the store, easily escaping the monster, and when he looked back the monster was still turning around.
'Well, that station is a no-go...wait a minute.'
He stopped.
Running back into the store, he picked up a box of matches he had seen in one of the isles near the back of the shop. Pocketing them, he ran out and grabbed a gas hose. Slipping it out the protective wrap, he held down the trigger and started to spray the gas into the store.
The liquid substance did not reach the slug, but it did not matter.
He sprayed away from the gas station, and then marked every other pump in the vicinity. Some pumps were already leaking, so it made it easier to cover a large area.
After a while, Alex was satisfied with the large puddle of petrol in the middle of the gas station. Wandering away from it all, he picked up the box of matches, took one out and placed the box in-between his teeth. Because he only possessed the function of one hand, it took a while to light the stick.
Fortunately, the slug was really slow and got out the store after he finally managed to light one.
On the trail of petrol he purposefully made, he dropped the flaming match and instantly a line of flames erupted and blazed up the path of petrol.
Alex dashed backwards to decrease the chance of being effected by the outcome of it all.
The trail of flames blazed into the station and diverged into five different directions, four for the gas pumps and one for the store. Though, the trail of the store had been mostly cleaned up by the slug's large body, it did not matter as the slug would still be set aflame.

Alexander, reaching a safe place, watched from the sideline as the flame flew into the pumps and exploded in a fiery roar, enveloping the shop, slug and surrounding homes within it.
As expected from the noise of the explosion, multiple monsters had showed up to inspect the eruption. Majority of them were goblins holding the usual clubs, but some held spears and one even grasped a blade.
The one with the blade was taller than the other goblins, and had fierce eyes as he turned his head to survey the surroundings. The intelligence he exhibited just from looking around, made him more dangerous than all the goblins combined.
Alex started to feel his focus rise steadily, and his mind was starting to be cleared of any thoughts. The opponent standing a few miles away threatened him with his atmosphere. This goblin was deadly and Alex recognized it.
"I want to take him out." Alex muttered without thinking, grabbing the shiv in his pocket and holding it.
He done this subconsciously, forgetting the pain in his broken left arm.
In the distance, a bit off from the goblin group, a flaming tornado engulfed a large creature. The creature didn't let out any noise as its skin sizzled and became charred. It just moved slowly, trying to leave the fire surging all around, but it was trapped with nowhere to go and nowhere to be free of the fire upon its lonesome back. With no defiance and no retaliation, the fire broke through its defenses and killed it from the inside out. The now-short antennas fell down to the floor and laid unmoving.
The large body of the creature became crisp ash to the merciless blaze.
Alexander did not bat an eye as the creature died without knowing the reason why, because he was already acting as his character from Ginlore.
