《Sovereign of Divinity》Chapter 1: The end and a new beginning

"Huh... what... What happened? Wait... Why can't I speak? Why can’t I see?"
Akio was startled, until he realised...
It was late in the morning, and Shima Akio had just woken up, and was preparing to enter his VR capsule.
Akio's perspective:
"Akio, I have to go to work... you better not be playing games just because it's the summer holidays. Make breakfast for yourself and your sister. I have to go now and I'll be back before dinner, so make some food for us by then. Bye"
That was my mom, and she always dumps all the chores on me, because she needs to work.
*Sigh
"Ever since dad passed away, it's always been like this-"
"Don't say that Akio, dad has just gone for a business trip abroad... a really long and tiring one..."
That is my little sister, and she has been in denial since father's funeral. She even locked herself in the room for 2 days, refusing to eat anything, until we broke into her room from the window and dragged her out with the help of the police department.
"Ah, yes I meant 'ever since he left for his trip. Don't worry, he'll be back soon. Come, I'll make breakfast, go down and wait, I'll make something special today."
"Yay, I'll be there in a minute"
*Sigh, I don't know what I should do for her. It feels like I am making her live a lie, a lie so delicate that one wrong step could shatter her already fragile world...
I am sorry little sister, all I can currently do is keep up this illusionary world, and hope you come to terms with reality soon. I'll have to tell you by the end of summer, before school begins, or it won't be good for her social life. Let's just hope it doesn't have to be that way.

Anyways, let's go make breakfast quickly, then I can continue my campaign against all Tyr's followers (God of Justice). It is regrettable that I am currently on the path of evil, after all the months of planning the most efficient way to become the strongest player in Yggdrasil.
I initially planned on becoming a follower of Brut (God of strength and valour), while maintaining good relations with the other Primas (Gods formed from the remains of the Original Spirit; Primagine). However, that shitty NPC; Klyde Malum, just had to ruin it for me. His personality was the worst in the entire game! and in order to become a follower of Brut, you need to follow him around for a whole month, while doing infuriating quests, like fetching water from his 'favourite' river, 6 towns from Inceptor (the beginner's town), and make an Osseus boar (skeleton boar) out of the bones you get from killing wild boars (and you only get a maximum of one bone, with only a 10% drop rate for every wild boar killed). He also has a disgusting attitude, of holding disdain for all players, until they become a follower of Brut.
Once, while I was on my last chain quest, to escort Klyde to Luxta Mare, a coastal town, popular for its seafood and salt trade, we found a player on the verge of death. The a**hole had a scornful look on his face and said. "You blasphemous b*stards! How dare you live! How dare you challenge the cycle of life and death, which the lord's maker had created! You deserve to die!" He scorned as he pulled out a long-sword, preparing to stab the player. I had to step in obviously, not because of some inner justice, but because that player was my childhood friend; Jin Toshi.

I didn't have time to activate external magic spells, so I launched myself, while activating 'Lesser speed' and 'Lesser strength', with my sword in front of me , directly at Klyde's sword, which was racing towards Toshi. Unfortunately, because of some miscalculation, I not only deflected his sword away from Toshi, but I also accidentally grazed his thumb with my sword, causing him 1 damage.
This was where it all changed! Yggdrasil is a VRMMORPG known for its excessive freedom as an in game experience. They even went to the extent that no object, place, or character in invincible. However, this may create problems like players killing high level NPCs instead of monsters to level up, as NPCs are easier to kill. Therefore, some rules were put in place, like any player dealing damage to an NPC, will become the enemy of the entire faction that said NPC belongs to.
Therefore, I was forced to leave behind the almost complete chain quest, and join the opposing faction; Chaosas ( The Gods born of the Chaos after Primagine's death), and had to become a follower of Necros ( God of the undead). There was where my journey as a white knight came to an end, and my journey as a necromancer began.
Anyway, we went on a tangent there. Back to the present, I am done with breakfast.
"Akio, is the food ready yet? I've been waiting for you to finish murmuring to yourself for 10 minutes! Quickly tell me... What did you make?"
"Ahahahaha, its 'Egg & Cheese Soufflé ', with your favourite 'Orange juice'!"
"Yay!
♬Orang-e juice-a♬
♬Orang-e juice-a♬
♬Today I'll have-e, the king of fruits-a♬
♬Orang-e juice-a♬
♬Orang-e juice-a♬
"Tch, she never acknowledges my cooking. All she cares about is her 'Orange-e juice-a'! "
Anyway, I'm now done with cooking, and I can finally enter Yggdrasil!
"Alright, let's go!"
Now, I just wait for the game to load-
"Aha, you will have an important burden to bear little one..." whispered an aged voice
"Who is there - "
...And that is the last thing I remember.
Okay, wait. Let's first understand the situation I am in, before taking any action. Okay. Okay. Okay. Calm down first.
Phew.
Now, let's see; I can't see because I can't open my eyes, I can't move, because there are some sort of cloth restraints all over my body, and all I can do is hear and smell. Alright, now smelling won’t provide me much information, but hearing will, so I will try that...
"$%$^&!"
Huh? I can't understand anything? what language is that?

Kingdom of Ice

The Goddess of Death's Champion
Eliot and Cel start off the same as any other peasant and climb their way to the heavens. At least, that's what a cheesy hook might say, however, Eliot and Cel have always had the attention of the Gods, Eliot longer than Cel but by no God more important. Even if it is their destiny to achieve legend status, they started out some where, and with only the semblance of a head start, not to mention that it makes for an interesting story. (If you decided to read because of a specific tag, some of them only show up later on in the story. I should also mention that romance is a significant focus but there is no romance tag besides the one in genre)
