Saladin's POV

While we were walking towards the dungeon, I noticed that there are lot's of adventurer's gathered.

Some where looking for companions for to enter the dungeon while some are looking to join a group.

Eventually Sherah joined us again but this time with a very long metal bow...

Everyone gazes where directed towards her, as it's not normal to be carrying almost the size of a full grown man bow in their back while normally walking without a care.

She has a quiver strapped to her back which is attached by a strap from her shoulder until her waist which carries tons of long wooden arrows.

Sherah came to us and ignored all of us except Yurnixa who she came beside and nodded to her while smiling.

Well we basically already know that this is her personality, but Muzaik was having a weird expression.

He then whispered to me in the ear.

"Another one?, your seriously going for a three or four some?" - Muzaik

I punched his face.

He flew a little and hit the ground.

Muzaik immediately got up while laughing and while rubbing his red cheek.

'This guy...' - My thoughts

Anyhow, we started looking for members to join us as we just need two more.

Muzaik quickly gone to the nearby item store and bought the needed survival items for the dungeon.

I saw three individuals who were together and also were looking for companions.

Afterwards, I told the group if we should ask them to join which they accepted and then we gone to them while asking if they want to join us.

There were two guys and one girl in their group while being around age 19's for all of them.

They looked at us for a little to no time until they accepted the offer which made some of us smile as to how fast we found people.

The group who recently joined us introduced themselves after we introduce each of us.

'Tides' is the name of the guy with a very long hair while wearing only pants and a necklace while revealing his lean body.

He carries a dagger with a crossbow which are nice placed placed in a bag that he carries.

This person named tides seemed to be the quiet lazy type while his appearance doesn't fit where we are heading, it is as if he wants to take a bath or something.

Well he is the only abnormal type as the other two where pretty normal.

The girl who is named 'Oli' has gray hair made into pig tails while her clothes is a white sleeveless blouse while having a long brown skirt and wearing sandals that cover most of her feet.

Oli's weapon is a small wand, while carries a small leather shield in her left hand.

Let's talk about the last guy who is called 'Jouv', well... he wears the same attire as any villager literally while carries a trident sort of weapon.

They were all friendly, while also being quite excited as to what the dungeon could be.

When we are prepared, we gone in front a huge crater with stairs heading down.

There was guards protecting the place and doesn't allow anyone unless they have the adventurer's license.

Some adventurer's were slowly descending the stairs.

There was one thing that I think I'm forgetting and that is the lack of having a license for Yurnixa and Sherah.

I asked them about it, and they replied by saying that they have a similar card but not as good as the adventurer's, though it's still sufficient enough to enter the dungeon.

It seemed to be a card that allows nobles and people who work with them, to be able to access most things adventurer's can do.

So when we confronted the guards, we showed the cards to them and they immediately let us through while telling us to be careful and take care.

Though their expressions seemed to be sad for some reason.

I noticed that the guards where not letting any other adventurer's to enter anymore as they were yelling that there is a wait period of three days again until they are allowed to enter again.

'Phew, we managed to enter at the last moment' - My thoughts

We descended the stairs slowly while some of us where talking to each.

When we reached the bottom, there was a huge magic portal which was emitting a blue hue.

There was carvings surrounding the gate which looked look like the creatures and people fighting with each other.

All of us entered the portal one by one and I was the first one to enter.

When I gone through it, I felt lots of whispers going through my ears in different tunes.

Finally the whispers stopped and I entered what seemed to be a small area with a narrow pathway not so far from me.

Everyone gathered again after a few minutes of waiting while some have a slight headache.

The group where questioning on where are we.

Old stone bricks, is the main thing that makes up this place while having some mosses and cobwebs in some places.

The narrow pathway seemed suspicious to me, and so was thinking carefully as to what would happen if we would cross it.

Sherah was about to enter the pathway until I stopped her from doing so, but I had to grab her hair which made her furious and punched my stomach.

'Ungrateful whore, I might have just saved her life' - My thoughts

She was about to say something loudly but stopped her voice from uttering then said

"Why, stop me" - Her

"Watch carefully" - Me

I took out iron spike balls which I barely used till now, and made one roll along the pathway.

Nothing happened.

Sherah then said

"See-"

As she was about to finish her sentence, the ground under the pathway opened and revealed large spikes with lot's of dead bodies pierced by it.

The bodies looked fresh as if they just died, there was a nauseous smell which emitted out from bodies.

I could see Sherah's poker face turned into a slight afraid one.

Nyorin was looking away while closing her eyes.

Oli was about to vomit but looked like she held it in.

Laura didn't know what was happening, and so I told her about it which made her scared a little but quickly faded and started what seemed to be praying for something which is mentioning about the dead adventurer's.

Muzaik told me that this is the reality of trying to conquer a dungeon.

Yurnixa was telling something to Sherah in the ear.

Sherah shook her head and then Yurnixa just sighed which made me got thinking if it is related to me preventing Sherah from being a pin cushion.

I didn't care much of the people in my surrounding, as I was thinking of a way to get threw this place.

There was no way to cross this long narrow hallway without falling to our death.

The first thing I did was look on top of the pathway in case if there is anything there but so far nothing.

Afterwards, I looked thoroughly in each side of the wall of the room.

It took some time until I found a scrape mark on the ground as if this wall in front of me is movable.

I knew that reading books would come in handy some days.

The next thing I did was look for a switch, but this time asked fro the whole group to look for it.

Not so long later, Jouv the guy who carries a trident found a brick which is pushable.

He then pushed it which caused the wall to move and let a pathway open.

Again, I rolled the spike ball down the pathway to make sure if there isn't any traps.

There weren't any and so we gone through it smoothly with no harm.

Nyorin seemed to be much closer to me while laura also doing being the same.

There was a very large open space while being slightly lit at the same time.

As I tried looking around, I was pushed by someone causing me to fall.

I checked on what reason as to why I was pushed and knew immediately that I was about to get shot by a large arrow.

The person who saved me was something unpredictable... as it was Sherah.

She immediately grabbed her long bow from her back and loaded it with an arrow while aiming towards some sort of creature which is hard to see.

Oli pulled out her wand and chanted 'May the goddess of light, banish thee darkness from this place' which made the entire area lit from her glowing wand.

There were things that should be kept unseen..., as I look around, there is nothing but entrails and dead bodies filled with arrows.

Walls dyed in bloody red, while lots of arrows where pierced in the wall with some filled with dead adventurer's guts.

I could sense fear in our group except for some of us like me... as I this is not my first time seeing this scenery...

The magic made it clear as to what the creature looked like.

Face of a lizard and the body of a man with three arms wielding a a large stone bow while lots of giant arrows where beside it in the ground.

It was wearing nothing but a ragged long half worn out robe.

Sherah shot the arrow towards the lizard creature.

The arrow she fired was very fast and had a slight blue hue emitting in it.

Though I expected the lizard would either get hit or dodge it... but I was wrong, as he grabbed the arrow point blank in the air and loaded it into his bow while shooting the arrow aimed to him back to the owner.

Sherah dodged it but every one was having a dumbfounded face as it was everyone's first time to see a creature or person do something like that.

Muzaik hand emitted a bright orange hue and immediately a weapon was enchanted to his hands made from what seemed to be aura.

He then said while having an annoyed tone

"That creature which is named Vragule is nothing to mess with as it is rank 'D+', and at those ranks, creatures tend to get way smarter and stronger" - Muzaik

As I learned there is a huge difference between 'D-' and 'D+' as it tells the intelligence difference between those creatures.

The creature I fought before called Nugraix seemed to be much, much more weaker than Vragule.

Vragule used one of it's bulky hand to carry the stone bow while his other arm pulls the string of the bow and his remaining hand to catch the arrow in the ground.

It then loads he arrow into the bow and aimed it towards us in a very quick instant giving us no time to prepare before he shot the arrow which was aiming for Yurnixa.

The sly bastard wants to kill of the weak one first which was I though until the arrow was ricochet back by a large peach colored sphere surrounding Yurinixa.

It looked like the necklace she is wearing which was kept hidden until now was the reason to the circular barrier of hers.

She looked surprised as she even doesn't know that the necklace has the power to do that.

I didn't stand and idly watch.

I shouted to the whole group to move in two while keeping an eye on the creature and surround the creature.

Though in this past month traveling, I have been training on the exercises th book which is about improving my martial arts so that I can move to tier two which was hard but worth it as I have new techniques.

Not only I was training but so was Laura as she was able to perform water mending with her aura and you must be wondering on how she can read the book, well I basically read it to her.

I was beside Muzaik and was heading towards the back of the creature while the other pairs where going for his blind side.

Vragule the creature reloaded his bow with arrows and shot it towards us which some mostly missed but they managed to hit the leg of Hercs (the guy with the crossbow).

The guy stumbled due to the big arrow being pierced through his leg in the calf area which was oozing with blood.

Oli who was beside him, screamed loudly in horror from what she witnessed and then she pointed the want towards the creature with angry teary eyes while chanting out 'Oh goddess of light, please grant thee the power to banish this accursed demon!'.

The light she previously used to keep the area lit was cut off and was replaced with a large circular expanding light in her wand which was fired towards the creature.

Vragule the creature was using it's huge stone bow to block the magic attack but only managed to take out some of the extent power.

Oli fall down and panting for breath which looked like the magic she just used took a toll to her body.

The stone bow of the creature has been shattered badly while leaving the creature with some kind of white burnt mark almost covering it's whole body.

Nyorin didn't hesitate and charged forward while unsheathing both her weapons out and enchant them with light while aiming towards the creature back.

Laura was heading towards 'Hercs' as to heal him due to his injury while I and Muzaik fallow Nyorin right behind her.

Vragule picked up one of the large arrows and tried to swing it horizontally towards us but was stopped by the arrow which was shot by Sherah causing it to flinch.

It gave us enough time to slice the creature down as I cut of it's neck and Nyorin with Muzaik comes and finishes it off by cutting it into pieces.

The creature was beyond mutilated by our slicing which was a sight to see for any gore fanatics.

I thought it was over until I noticed that Jouv was dead in the ground with his head fully crushed by another Vragule but this time with a hammer.

My thoughts were blank as to companion of mine was killed easily by that creature.

Oli saw what happened and was crying loudly while screaming until her throat couldn't keep up with her loud cries.

The Vragule was different from the archer one as it has a armor covering most of body which I believed to be made of steel.

He picked up the dead Hercs body and slowly chewed it with his enormous jagged teeth.

There was anger boiling in me as I charge towards the creature with haste.

I was mastering this technique for a while, which was enchanting my sword to fire tier two.

My long sword was engulfed with a bright blue fire which is the tier two of fire enchanting.

There was another technique I learned and that is blink steps.

The ability made me behind the creature in a matter of seconds but for a cost of large amount of energy.

As I swung the blue fiery long sword in a vertical way while aiming towards the head, it was deflected by it's third hand.

This made me surprised as to how did he managed to deflect a tier two attack...

The creature skin turned from green to red while his head grows long horns.

It's structure increased by two folds while it grows four more arms from it's back which was really bloody.

Vragules face turned more human like while growing claws on it's hands.

If you ever seen a seven handed red demon like creature who is two times your size while carrying a large hammer, is something that anyone would get screwed over and piss their pants.

'...How...did it turn into that...' - My thoughts
