I woke up and blinked.
I got up and watched the surroundings. To make morning more interesting, the hammock lost balance and I started to fall down. Good thing that I have tied myself to the tree. Bad thing that my heart stopped beating for a second.
I was just hanging there, looking down with death in my eyes.
"Holy shit"
After several seconds of being paralyzed, I somehow climbed back to the branch and sat down. My breath still hasn't calmed down.
The wolves, are they still there? And if yes, how do I get outta here? were only thing that were in my mind during the breakfast, containing from smoked meat and local fruits.
"Ahh, I really miss my müslli or eggs, and even the school breakfasts"
The plan of escape:
1) make some pieces of something to throw it around, which could discover the wolves
2) use the last remnants of leather and create that very protections which is used while training police dogs
3) get outta here as fast as possible
When the first part was done, I have started to create gloves, arm and leg protection. This took me whole morning and several scratches and curses, but I have done it. The result was a pair of shin guard, a forearm guard and leg guard.
I left the idea of making gloves cuz it's fucking hardcore.
Let's begin the part three. I climbed down and started to run immediately. 13 km left to the "home".
I was running for about twenty minutes when I heard breathing behind me.
I looked back and there were footsteps following me.
"Oh, I almost thank, that you won't visit me."
I sprinted to take some distance, took out crossbow and shot at the place where I was thinking the enemy was.

*Clang
The bolt partially disappeared and I only heard dull sound, how its body fell to the ground. I came to now visible body and put it into the Inventory. When I started to run again, something knock me down.
I immediately equipped knife and tried to stab it, but I was just pinned down and that wolf bit my neck.
This is usual tactic of carnivorous beasts to bit its prey to the neck and wait until it strangle.
[Ahh, ut hurts so much. And I am already losing consciousness, shit. I don't wanna die here, like this.
Oh, so this is so called tunnel of dying.
It doesn't feel so bad.]
"You are critically injured (insufficient perfusion of brain. Death imminent"
The pop up window took me back to reality.
[Think John, what could you do about this, think, think, THINK!]
And like a will of God, the idea came.
I used what I have prepared yesterday.
I poured some of the Spirit fruit juice directly from Inventory to my throat.
Standard pop up came out, and I was Instantly healed.
I somewhat released myself from the wolf and stabbed it severally.
But the wolf has been already dead.
[Oh, the spiritual energy must have killed it]
I just put that body to Inventory and started walking back to camp.
That day nothing attacked me again.
I don't know if it was for the Spi energy, however no problematic creatures came into my way for several days since then.
