《Necromancy Domination》Chapter 5 — One-Sided Massacre

In the entrance of an immense forest; stands Leon. He was less confident in his plans than he had thought of before, now that he's actually doing it. He slowly gulped as he manned up and gone to the forest. The settlement was a close kilometers away and his plan is as simple as it is.
"Orcs are intelligent creatures and as fantasy worlds; I'm expecting mages or archers."
He muttered as he walked through the dark path; covered in the leaves of oak-like trees, even though it looked like 10 in the morning. In less than ten minutes, he located the settlement with the skulls of humans as what seemed like torches put in the dark paths.
"I hope my plan works."
He thought of his plans again as he closed his eyes and clutched his fist. As he sighed, the plan has already started.
"Rise!"
Three sparrows came out of his body and the human came out from the ground like a zombie just spewed out from his grave. He pointed his opened-hand forward; telling his minions to initiate the plan.
Thanks to the thick leaves covering the forest, it would be easy to execute it.
The human roared in order to attract the Orcs; and so it did. The human came running forward with the sword on his hands and with sparrows following the human. The Orcs ran in the area where the human was at and there were a lot of them. 5 Orcs came out from their huts as they saw the human running towards them.
Without delay; the humans started slashing. One Orc died as his head got decapitated with a little of his spine still hanging behind its neck. Blood came out everywhere and unlike from the novels; their blood was still red.

The Orcs froze up by the sudden attack; putting the human on the advantage, but lo and behold; An Orc roared back. That one Orc has a left arm missing and his beard came hanging down to his belly button — It was their Leader.
The roar of the Orc's leader suddenly boosted the other Orc's morale and the once advantageous human was in trouble. All of the Orcs came out and including the Leader; there was 12 in total. In the front was six holding swords, 4 holding a bow, one holding a staff, and the leader was holding a rusty axe.
"Now!"
Leon shouted from behind the settlement with the rest of the sparrow. The Orc was surprised of the ambush that the human roared once more as it started slashing into the enemies. The sparrows pecked out their eyes to make them blind and some sparrows bothered the other Orcs to lose their sense of balance.
It was a one-sided massacre as Leon killed the frail-looking Orcs that was holding the arrows and the mage-looking Orc that never got the chance to use a spell. The warrior Orcs was massacred by the human and the leader was surrounded by the sparrows that pecked and attacked him; causing him to kneel down.
"To think it would be this effective."
Leon was standing in front of the leader as he looked in his surroundings again. The human females were butchered and some body parts were missing. Leon was disgusted; yet he didn't feel sorry for the Orcs.
Earlier, when he ordered the human to charge through. It was only a distraction so Leon can go behind the settlement without being noticed. It was a simple strategy called a "Distraction" used in the military where an attack by some of the force, drawing up to a strong frontal attack by the rest of the force.

However in his case, it was the opposite. The strong attack was behind the enemy; more like a Frontal Ambush. An assassination.
Leon learned this while watching a documentary on World War II and he thought that if they do it in front; he can turn it backwards. The Orcs was no match for the modern-world military tactic.
Leon was smiling as the weakened leader was offended and embarrassed as he couldn't do anything to the very thing that they treated as livestocks. Leon turned around as he raised his hands with open palms and without looking back; the human beheaded the Orc Leader without mercy.
It was a one-sided victory.
Leon stopped and he fell on his knees. To be honest, he was afraid; so afraid that his knees was shaking while stabbing living being for the first time but he always had the thought of this world isn't Earth anymore. He had to change; as what he saw in the town, he couldn't forgive them.
"Fucking hell."
That was the only word Leon can utter. His heart sank so deep from fear that he felt like collapsing anytime; but he couldn't. He needs to find survivors for his name to spread.
"I've been selfless for too long."
He muttered as he stood up and the sparrows came back to his body. The human stood by; being vigilant if there was still Orcs that was in hiding. In one of the huts, there was one orc and it was a kid.
"Kill it."
Leon ordered to kill the kid; as not to make him grow up for revenge. It was the only thing he could do. Little by little; he strayed further from being human; just for the sake of himself. For the rest of the day, he wasn't able to smile; at all.

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
